@@cluerip it could be from worn molds, but more than likely it’s just from a bad batch of parts and low QC standards.
Is the term "flash" only used for like injected molded products or can it be used for like 3d printed (over-extrusion?). Also how did you get into plastic work it seems like a interesting career?
@@Eli-fj3sc I believe 3D printing has its own term for something similar, mostly because the cause is different. And I just ended up in plastics on a fluke, started off through a temp agency and got hired in to the company. And it is definitely an interesting career! Between the different properties of the materials to all the different products. We do everything from fly swatters to military and medical.

I have a 6th gen ipod classic that whenever you try and play something, it makes a loud click and says it needs to be reformatted/reset ect. Would this be a hard drive issue? And should I try and flash mod it?
My only question. Did no one in the board meeting about this product think about the fact that they could make the MP3 look like the actual watch from the show so kids could wear something from the show and listen to music?
I honestly think that would be cool, but really fucking annoying. Having a wire on your wrist to your head all the time is far more annoying than a pocket.
That would make sense if people that take the decision of taking these generic products to market knew what the francizes behind them meant. Not to mention that it could have been done at a higher level as in the corporate HQ for a given conglomerate see an opportunity to make a lot of money by selling e-waste, ask a nerd working down the floor which francizes they are in charge of, and voila. It's like video games, the actual developers have zero to no saying in how the product they solely create gets monetized.
I bet they could've even added an actual electronic watch to that thing, i mean like no additional R'n'D, just hot glue existing board from cheapest chinese watch on top.
