I wouldn't say he's belittling her because of her job lol.
Simon has, for years - since the beginning of American Idol - referred to certain performers as pub/cruiseship/cabaret singers, et cetera. It has nothing to do with her job, it's something he says often.

I hate to have to say this but the problem with Simon concerning this singer is he prejudice against weight. It's very clear and that's so sad that he's like that. It's really wrong.

Megan, I am probably twice her size. I have heard it all. I am a guy. I don't mind My Account being honest here. That lady will not see the comment. She has probably heard worse. I so respect you for defending her though. The world is cruel sometimes. Like me, I assume she has pretty thick skin to deal with comments like that. I am to the age where I could care less. But, I have friends who know that, and they stopped judging me because of my size. Life will go on as it has. Young people will judge right up until they hit that same point in life that they do not like what people say about them. It is a circle thing. Bless you Megan, you are one of the good ones.

Sometimes I don't like his decisions. All the other judges will have said yes. Then at this turn he says oh that will be a no! Sometimes the other judges do say to him omg how can you say no?
Dunno why I can't like your comment. It's interesting he has that love him or hate him effect. Personally I love him :P I guess BC my favorite teachers in life have been very tough teachers so I find that funny, his brutal honesty and I think it can be the best possible thing for an artist to help them grow. You can tell some people 'you're not good enough, sorry" but if they're driven enough- it won't stop them and they'll just keep at it. So he's not breaking anyone who wouldn't be broken anyway. ;) he gives the credit where it's due! I find him the most entertaining and people's butthurt reactions to him 😜👍🤗✌️
