Great for light dry snow. Not for wet or packed snow.

This is a cool tool! We're in Michigan where we get some big snow but most often it's just 4-5". This would be great for those busy mornings when it's too early to fire up the snowblower. Best of luck to you!

The 4" side walls do nothing. You demonstrated it with snow on both sides; any push shovel without those side guards would accumulate the snow in front in just the same way. The one time you decided to show a push without snow on one side, you rightly began with a half blade, but ended up with snow on the side of the exact same amount an ordinary wide push shovel would leave.

Well he actually did design it, then he patented and trademarked it, then he found a manufacturer, and now he's marketing it. That's a tad more work than just designing it, right? :) I do wonder if it comes in 36" lengths, though. That's a good idea.

Correction. Average size of a sidewalk is way more than 44 inches. Maybe old sidewalks are 36 inches in width, but in snow areas and newer neighborhoods, well its way more than 44 inches. So I finally went and bought a SnowDozer. The only place I could find it was the link provided here to ACME products. They had it and sent it fairly fast. I also got the SnowDozer with the handle instead of the knob, in which seemed like the best choice. Denver got hit with a fairly good snow storm, well for Denver it was, maybe not if you live in Minnesota or Michigan, but the fresh snow was an easy 5 inches deep, maybe 6 inches. Hard work for anyone that dared to go outside with 8 degree temps. Before I start telling you about how wonderful the Snowdozer is, let me just say it was way faster than the neighbor that had fired up his Snowblower. And 10 times faster than the conventional method of using a shovel. The neighbor with the snow blower was covered in snow from his snow flinging and seemed like more work and time.
Taking the SnowDozer out of the garage and working down was a bit much for an easy straight approach, the snow had piled up way too much. But starting out with a small section and chipping away was easy enough. Cleared the drive-way and sidewalk in 20 minutes. What I liked about the SnowDozer, was the ability to get the hard to scrape snow, hardened by the car smashing the snow into the concrete. Well the SnowDozer used in the final scrape demonstrated a 'scuffing' action which actually broke up the compressed snow from the car tires. As it bounced and scuffed along it actually broke up that hard to scrape snow. I was very happy about that, usually I don't bother with the compressed snow.
Over-all, I'd rate the SnowDozer a 10, it exceeded my expectations. Was done way before anyone else.
