saw Julia last night at Knuckleheads garage in KC mo.What an incredible live performer! She has sass, humor, voice and soul out the wazoo! seeing her in person is ELECTRIC... you feel wired for full enthusiasm for life. I can't compare her to anyone but simply go see her live and you will be blessed and inspired.
she plays here at an awesome place called Kulak's Woodshed (if you haven't seen the videos, they're amazing). I simply have to go next time

I witnessed her performance at the legendary Belly Up in Solana Beach, Ca. when she opened for The Alarm. I had no idea even who she was when I walked in. Within a song, I literally stood in my tracks in front of the stage in amazement for the next 30 minutes. I still can't believe what I saw. Julia was absolutely incredible!
