- On day 23 of the Lori Vallow murder trial, an FBI agent took the stand to testify about the case.
The "Doomsday mom" is accused of killing her two children, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan. She is also accused of conspiring to kill her husband Chad Daybell's wife of nearly 30 years, Tammy Daybell.
FBI special agent Doug Hart detailed text messages from Lori Vallow's iCloud account. In some of the texts, Chad was messaging a romance novel to Lori; details about people being 4.1 or 3 level "dark"; and Chad saying he wants to kiss Lori for hours, which "would likely lead to nakedness."

Poor Tammy. No one should have to suffer such a fate…let alone a computer-handy, kid-loving librarian who was a mother of five , a 5k runner, and clog-danced! She was so much more than Lori could ever be! And probably every bit of her was genuine! She looks like she had a good sense of humor, and a lot of personal strength. I wish she could somehow know that she is inspiring women these days and she and the beautiful children will be loved within our collective hearts.

I agree this is a total waste of taxpayers money. That Mr. Smith sounds like he is all but snoring and falling asleep every day he must not get enough rest at night. These people give religion a bad name. Disgusting all of them, but especially Chad and Lori I do not see how she is such a beauty, definitely not on the inside and the outside looks like a woman desperately trying to look young. The justice system needs a major overhaul as we spend millions of dollars on these trials.

Lori Cox was a physically attractive woman with a nice figure. Wickedness (compounded with a couple of years in prison) has, not surprisingly, ruined her looks. But she would not have been able to manipulate men if she had been physically unattractive. That is just how that works.
I don't find her that attractive...pretty but not a beauty esp now.
Don't forget people have testified and attested to her being an exceptional mother and person and friend which I truly believe she was before meeting Chad.

This judge is amazing and what a well run court room. I really appreciate how professional everyone is. This is an emotional and horrific crime beyond comprehension and the court room seems to me to be very respectful of one another. I wish we could see it though.

Seems like the defense uses the I didn’t get it as their defense. Granted prosecution messed up big time by not getting the discovery over to them in time, and now Lori doesn’t have the death penalty. But how many times is the defense gonna say they didn’t get something. They just didn’t go through everything. I’m still upset that they messed up that bad.

I believe “Lolitime” refers to Lori’s deceased baby sister, Loli Cox, who died in infancy.
I haven’t seen any credible evidence that Chad or Alex pursued prepubescent girls, although reportedly Alex pursued sex with an underage but (post pubescent) teenage girl. This is, of course, a serious crime.
I guess Lori thinks her lawyers can get her off. She should just plead guilty and get it over with. She has no chance of getting off on all of this. I bet he lawyer thinks the same as I do, but just does not say anything to her. Her lawyer has no defense unless he tries to go for insanity. She is not insane however. As it relates to news media's coverage of this trial....is there a reason to account for the seemingly complete and total absence of timestamps?! I'm genuinely perplexed. The events of this demented case captured national interest, arguably _international_ interest, from the start and has largely remained consistent in maintaining it.
For the better part of a year now social media has been carrying non-stop high profile trials. The extent of viewer engagement with all related content has been truly astronomical. There was a point during the fully livestreamed trial of Depp vs Turd where 1m+ people were watching LIVE as Camille destroyed Turd on cross...in the middle of work day. Keep in mind, this was just ONE of the many media entities which were also streaming live.
Then came the Murdaugh trial, Leticia Stauch and now, Lori Vallow. And since Lori's trial is audio only, and not being livestreamed, there seems even LESS of a sensible explanation for why no one bothered with the simple task of listing timestamps.
This video, for example, is THREE HOURS in length. Without the benefit of visual aid there's way to discern "where you're at" and renders it nearly impossible to properly orient your understanding of current ongoing proceedings.
My only regret is that these obviously evil,evil monstrosity of assumed humanity are escaping the death penalty... disgusting..
Of course, we would like to hear all of these texts, uninterrupted, but I also understand the need for the defense to object when possible. The last thing we want is a mistrial. (It certainly is annoying, though.)
These criminals were fortunately dumber than a box of rocks, and the Woodcocks were fortunately persistent.
