Its crazy how this isnt even really a quest 3 game. This is made for quest 2. I cant imagine what they would be sble to do if they took full advantage of the quest 3.

@@mattalford3932 which has to cost $1000+ and you have to deal with a bunch of things going wrong everytime windows updates.

Ive been showing my wife clips from this game to convince her that we should shell out A$800 for VR goggles. I've actually been trying to convince her for several years that we should get a VR headset, but this might finally be enough. It seems to me that right now the quest 3 is the safest, most versatile choice for a reasonable price. There are technically better headsets, but they either cost significantly more, or reduce your options for how you use them (like being only PC or PlayStation peripherals with no portability or only standalone with no PC connectivity), or sometimes both.
Definitely and lookup clips of how to overclock it/boost performance with the meta PC app and a USB cable... Not many seem to have done it yet, but it makes all games look even more incredible. BIG difference.
They can easily do a "Black Flag" with the Battlewake / Furious Seas mechanic. I really hope they do that one in VR.
I always thought games on boats would be hella nauseating, then I played Carrier Command 2 in VR, and the waves there are HUGE and the ship gets flung around out there at times, and it's totally fine. Doesn't make me nauseated at all.
I reeeeally want a pirate game in VR.. I think Sea of Thieves would be super awesome with VR.

Nice review! VR games look nice now, however, the AI of the NPCs is pretty premitive. Bonalab has the same issue

Hi Nathie!! Would you PLEASE show us the Quest 2 version? Realistically most of your viewers who already have a Quest 2 are NOT going to buy a Quest 3 anytime soon, if *ever*. I would truly appreciate it if you’d show us that version, and you’d be allowing me to make an informed decision on buying the game on the headset I actually have
For people who don't know, you overclock your Quest 3 and nearly double the resolution, with the meta pc app and a cable and it makes a HUGE difference.
Is that thing you are standing on pressure sensitive to walk/run or is it just to keep yourself grounded so you don't end up breaking a tv?

Quest 2 it got graphics close to contractors. A3 that shit look GOOD
It's the same but less sharp. The game was developed for Quest2 after all. They simply increased the resolution on Quest 3.

There's an assassin's creed mod for Blade and Sorcery. That's as close as it gets.
How much is it?
Whats with the hood popping in and out? Is that to show if your hidden? Seems like it would be annoying.
Yeah it happens when you're hidden. Can't remember if you can disable this in the settings.
You can move your hands forward or backwards next to your head to have it on or off when your out of the hay bales

I have an issue, when I climb, then the haracter just let go, telepoet into the wall and drop down. Do someone know what is going on?
You may accidentally skipped the Calibration screen at the beginning.
they realy need to fix the framerates dips and stutters in this game..i am on a quest 3 by the way
I have the same issue. Waiting for a patch cause I don't want this game ruined by stutters. It's super fun.

my game won't work when climbing, like I hold down the grip button and it just let's go and glitches me down and I can't get past the tutorial because of that. I literally can't play the game because of a glitch, does anyone have a fix... Or am I the only one having this problem? I don't know if its a problem with my controllers or the game.
Make sure ur height is properly calibrated
@@Serburis yeah I figured that out a little bit ago because I wasn't putting my arms in a T-pose, and now it works... I'm just stupid and I didn't read the text.
There a bug on it for me and means I can barely climb
You may accidentally skipped calibration at the beginning. You could also redo this in the Pause Menu.

having trouble where my grip buttons aren’t working properly. like i can’t climb any walls. every time i grab onto a wall, my virtual hand lets go. can’t figure out what’s wrong
Yet they say blade and sorcery can look good on quest 3 they just gotta step there game up

This game looks good but it also is very unsettling and disappointing that the enemies can SOO EASILY be killed. Where is the challenge? It's more fun when they're more difficult.

I know its a heavy game for a stand alone VR set, but the FPS (on my screen in this video) looks terrible to be honest.

Quest exclusive = bad idea. No matter how "good" this game is.
Meta has most likely pumped a lot of effort and money in that game. Now they want so sell their headset with the help of games like this. Can't put the blame on them.
