I don't care WHAT you say about Clark Gable. I hate him. He RAPED Loretta Young, left her pregnant with an illegitimate child at a time when such things were ALWAYS the woman's fault and for which she bore all the shame and blame. In a double whammy, her strict Roman Catholic religion would have had her wear a scarlett letter for all to see if they knew. Then he totally abandoned her, never acknowledging her or his child, leaving her to cope the best she could. Luckily, she had money and relatives who helped her keep the whole thing secret and was later able to 'adopt her â€ïž child from an orphanage edg
