Bob Newhart has died. The Emmy Award-winning comedian and actor, notably remembered by his deadpan delivery, was best known for his sitcom ‘The Bob Newhart Show,’ from 1972-1978. He was 94.
It takes a certain breed of comic to make people laugh without being dirty, and it's commendable. But, dirty is also still funny, so it doesn't make him better, just a unique breed that isn't seen much anymore, and he was good at it. That being said, there are still good, clean comics out there. The mold was thrown away when they made Bob. I loved his humor that was on time and natural. It was real intertainment with great characters back in those years. Thanks for all the laughter Bob 💕 💖🕊
Fond memories from my childhood. The best timing of any comedian. Rest in Peace, Bob. ❤
We have lost so many loved actors and Hollywood figures just this last couple weeks....end of a Era. Bob you were the best. 🙏✌️❤️

This man's wonderful understated humor and presence in the world meant so much to me. R.I.P. Bob
Outwardly, he couldn't have seemed more ordinary and everyday, but his humor and wit had a charisma all their own, enough to drive what I think is the greatest sitcom of all time - The Bob Newhart Show. Still watching
Rest In Peace such great memories ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
this great talent not winning Emmy until the Big Bang is Criminal
RIP Bob Newhart. You will always be my favorite stand-up comedian 💐
Bob Newhart's "Button Down Mind" album was a passion of my father's. An early and precious memory of mine is being held by my father, and the sound of him laughing as the record played on the turntable in the dining room at home. I grew up knowing his comic monologues inside out. I loved them as my father did and I love them still. That's the great thing about 'funny'. It has no sell by date. It never goes out of fashion. Thank you Bob for the memories and the laughs. RIP.
Thank you Sir for the laughter you’ll be missed, I’m so happy you’ve reunited with your wife again.
Grew up on a farm in Pa in the 1970s, watched him every Sat night at 930 and dreamed of going to work in an office, living in an apt in the city and being married to Suzanne Pleshette. Got everything but Suzanne. RIP Bob Newhart, my quiet funny hero ❤😊
What a great actor😅 He will be missed😢
He will be missed. Loved all his wonderful work! RIP Bob. Love from 🇨🇦
A true hero of the entertainment industry...there will NEVER be another Bob Newhart...thank you Bob...to me you will always live in the minds of generations to come
Watching all our big stars from 70s to 90s pass away is so painful. Its like my childhood fading. Fearing to see more pass away before my time can really bring a person down. Rip Bob.
One of the all time greats. You will be missed.
In 2024 I'm still watching the bob newhart show with suzanne pleshette. And the newhart show on Monday nites. Tonight I'm gonna end my evening with a couple episodes of the bob newhart show and all the crew. ❤❤❤RIP

I grew up in the 70’s and we watched the Bob Newhart show, Mary Tyler Moore and All in the Family every week. I loved his delivery, his humor and humility. His monologue routines were absolutely priceless. RIP Bob. You were as good as it gets. ❤
RIP BOB NEWHART.
Loved all your shows.❤❤😢
Bob Newhart was a total riot - in his early and frequent routines with Dean Martin, and then the classic The Bob Newhart Show, to Newhart. Always self-effacing with a great cast on both shows. A true legend. RIP
Oh I’m heart broken. I just loved Bob Newhart. ❤ RIP 😢
I was in my early 20's and I loved Newhart. I saw every episode, I liked Bob's dry sarcastic wit. Rip Bob, Up there with Peter Scolari and Tom Poston again, and your wife. Thank you for the laughter
Bill Daley gets to pester Bob again too
@@Itelkner How tactless of me I forgot to mention Mary Fran as well who died young in 1997.
@@RFKFANTS67 The great Mary Fran!
What a great tribute to a great comedian, actor and gentleman. Thank you Bob.
One of the last true comedians R.I.P Bob
