  • Sound design is probably the second-most important aspect of theme park design, after visual design. And by far, the biggest part of that is music.
Today, to celebrate October and theme park spooky season, we're going to take a look at how to make spooky, themed music that could be used in a zone, haunted house, ride, or other attraction.
Obviously, this is not an exhaustive exploration, and we're not a music education channel. If this subject piqued your interest, and you'd like to know more, check out this video from Jake Lizzio over at Signals Music Studio. It covers this same topic, from a perspective more based in music theory: • The Scariest + Creepie... .
We're considering doing more of these types of episodes for this series in the future, so feel free to give us suggestions for other musical genres or styles of composition you'd like to see down in the comments.
If you like the video, please subscribe to the channel. Also, let us know in the comments. Those things really help, and make it easier for us to make more videos like this one.

13:47 so scary! Lol. I think it would be pretty fun to see different examples of music in theme parks. I know almost nothing about musical things but I feel like I learned something new

I am in awe of people that can read, write and perform music. This video was fascinating in explaining how you can create music essentially using the same notes but adding in the other things to create a genre. It’s way over my head tone honest but thanks for sharing how it’s done!!! Great job
