- We took a street food tour in Chandni Chowk with A Chef's Tour and ate so much Indian food! We navigated the very busy streets of Old Delhi to try dahi bhalla for the first time, eat sweet paan, try pani puri, drink masala chai tea for the first time in India, try lemon soda, eat roti, and try so many more street foods!
If you want to book the same tour with A Chef's Tour, click here!: tinyurl.com/5dsvjxdf
Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi is the best place to try Indian street food because so many of the shops have been around for more than 100 years. They are passed down from generation to generation and the recipes are perfected through the years. The popularity of these food stalls also makes them a really safe place for foreigners to eat because the food is eaten so constantly that the ingredients are always fresh and delicious!
This video shows our first time eating Indian street food and in it we visit Chandni Chowk and it's world famous spice market. Although New Delhi is a great place to visit in Delhi, we highly recommend taking the time to try the street food in Old Delhi like we did in this video! We would suggest going with a guide so you can learn about the dishes, try all the best foods, and be confident that you are eating at places that won't end in a stomach ache!
We cannot recommend A Chef's Tour more highly if you are trying to decide which food tour company to book with. Our guide, Gajendra, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the food scene in Delhi and did an incredible job at pacing our tour so that we didn't get too full to enjoy the food!

You won't regret it!
Your guide was not that great. First, he didn't take you to many other great iconic places some of which are there since 9-10 decades and which are too good to be missed. Second, I think the sequence could have been better to enjoy it more. For example pan is supposed to be the last thing after all the food. It is like a moth freshener.
@@vipulgupta tbh, he did a good job...
@@pjsudharshan It is not about honesty, it is about opinion. In my opinion he didn't and I have stated the reasons. You can have your opinion.
This is the content that we can all like: food!
Yes!
Try chicken keema+ rumali roti 🥰🥰🥰🥰 🙏🏻
Yup
You guys have such a positive perspective towards everything. That’s the key to happiness.
India is the biggest vegetarian nation in the world and there are so many flavors and texture from so little variation that you’ll find there.
Thank you! We have loved the food soooooo much so far!
All the positivity just stopped flowing when I heard "chai tea" 🥲
Delhi has such great street food! I just did A Chef's Tour in Kolkata and ate 10 courses, each place over 100 years old too. I'll be back in Delhi next month and will probably try the tour here too.
You are here too 😀
Love your vedios bro 👍🏻
No way, that's awesome!! We did the tour with them in Kolkata as well (video will be up in a few weeks) and it was amazing! If your guide was Avik we are sure your tour was incredible. He was such a wicked guide!
Benjamin i m missing your video too braah.where you are lately?
@@nicoleandmico yep, he did great!
Kolkata offers the the most varieties of food no matter it is sweets or any meal or snacks.
And it is the Cultural Capital of India as well!
Do not leave India until you see the Indian Himalayas. Ladakh, Himachal, and Uttarakhand are must visit.
Since you are from Canada I love these musicians from Canada
1) Guess Who
2) Joni Mitchell
3) Neil Young
4) BTO
5) Rush
6) Pat Travers
7) Triumph
You've got great taste in music!
You guys are killing the videos lately🔥!! Keep it up!!
Thanks so much!
you have been to more than 10 countries but have only 14k subscriber ,now you are in India , This CZcams channel will be a family of more than 50k subscriber before you leave India for sure .
You guys are energetic as hell. Loved the vlog. And yes, you are absolutely right in getting a guide. Its like getting a tutor for studying, you can always study on your own but it will take way longer, tutor will help you achieve the same goal in miniscule amount of time.
Definitely! We were so glad to have Gagendra show us around 🥰
Your welcome to India 🇮🇳
Your country
You guys are so enjoyable to watch. Love your energy!
Thank you so much!!
Hi both. To avoid digestion issues, I suggest you to have curd/yogurt/lassi/ butter milk as the last dish of every meal.. This has full of probiotics and will help your digestion issues and also aid in tasting lovely veg dishes of India - Madhu, from Chennai ( South India).
Avoid paper use water
Paper burn / flame
Spices Hot😂😂😂😂
Also, it will negate any effect of spices that you relished in your meal and keep your internal organs healthy.
@@user-pz6et7bi5w bro one thing I want to say is, spices are healthy for body if taken in moderation like black peper, cloves, cinammon sticks and leaves, curry leaves, cardamom etc. all are healthy for body. These are also used in ayurveda.
But if someone do notalways eat spices, then consuming it can upset his stomach, bcs spice can be too hot for him and his untrained stomach.
So you can ask for less spices (if you are not regular spice eater); it is also has nice flavours too. And raita, lassi, butter-milk are also really good as you suggested.
Yup agreed.
I use Dahi/Doi/curd to bring down the spice flames.
Doi is such a blessing. 😭😍
India is a different country in the world... Like many world equal to one India🇮🇳
How many countries have you been to ?
I really love your positive energy. The best part about all your dishes was that it was all Vegetarian and that's something I don't think any other country can offer. Just saying that's what you get from a civilization which is thousands of year old.
I just love how you to just enjoy being here among us. I love the positivity of you two. You guys are respectful, accepting to new culture and definitely have a huge heart for more. ❤️🙏
This is why our ancestors aptly said :
*atithi devo bhava:*
Guests are gods.

Great stuff...well done Gajendra! Glad you guys got to experience this!
Roti is made with whole wheat flour ....whereas.... Naan is made out of Plain White Flour ...by default in a tandoori oven.
What an amazing video! Heading to Delhi next week and think we will try this tour!:)

We will be headed to Kerala for sure!
You guys amazing sport's 👏 awesome respect to you both good on you 👏
Thanks so much!
you can probably make hundreds of such videos on indian street food itself lol. loved your Diwali video as well. good luck :D
Definitely! We can't believe how many different foods available to try here in India
@@nicoleandmico the best thing about your videos is that it feels very genuine. even us Indians think twice before trying street food from places we dont know. Always look for the shops that are crowded with locals and the food wouldn't disappoint you. although avoid the cheapest options which are crowded by laborers or drivers as your stomach might not be able to handle it. just take suggestions from a few locals or even on instagram or youtube before trying any food here. and yeah freshly cooked hot food is usually very safe. hope to see more of your videos soon :) enjoy your stay
Amazing❣
I’m visiting Delhi next month! I can’t wait!
You guys have to visit Goa( It's literally the Hawaii of India its amazing) And Kerala too.. BTW totally in love with your videos ! Keep more videos coming!!

Don't forget to try chola bathura
Welcome to india. Love from India 💞😊🤝
Man Delhi has the most amazing street food ! The Rabdi , Golgappa and Paneer Butter Masala with Hot butter Roti ... 😭 And I'm here eating Mc chicken with cold fries..
A Mcchicken sounds pretty good too, but the street food in Delhi was amazing!
@@nicoleandmico It doesn't even come close Fellas ! Poutine comes close but I'd take GolGappa and Paneer Butter Masala with Hot Roti and Lassi and Rabdi to wash it down over anything !
Love u guys From india❤️

Great! We have lots more coming 😀
Come chandannagar (kolkata) to view jagadhatri puja..famous in india
welcome to India 💐💐
here is my suggestion. please visit Darjeeling India's Nepal. next you can visit Sikkim which is very similar to Bhutan. it is clean pollution free and first organic state of India. after that Uttarakhand State you can go to it is most authentic indian state in north india. lot of spirituality in that state but you can avoid Haridwar city as there is some scams not nearly as much as Delhi. beautiful state Himachal Pradesh is a great destination. state is full of great hill stations. its capital Shimla is like British town, please ride UNESCO World Heritage Shimla Kalka train. Dharamshala town is little Tibet where Dalai Lama and lot of Tibetan Refugee live. north of Himachal Pradesh there is Ladakh one of the most beautiful place on earth. instead of going by bus you can take airplane from New Delhi or other airports to reach Ladakh.
Come to Chandigarh (one of the most well-planned city in India) and I'll be more than happy to host you at my family home :)
Wow…Nice VIDEO 👍
food guider is soo good i hope you like our indian food and spices🤗🤗
