I’ve never seen food from the Philippines covered like this (To be fair I’m not from the Philippines) these recipes are so fucking sick and it’s so cool to see people preserving and transmitting food culture thanks for the recipes and videos yall
Finally, buro! Thank you for featuring this fermented food of Pinoys. Sarap ng buro! We buy burong isda in Pampanga, then sauté with lots of garlic, onions and tomato, paired with nilagang okra, talong and pritong isda! That burong mustasa, true mapait yung ginagawa kong buro, need palang iblanch haha. What I did is use rice wash, garlic, salt lang. I'll try your recipe! Thank you for sharing!
Very interesting recipe ☺️ I'll try making that fermented rice recipe, it comes perfectly in time because I have fresh mango at home! Thank you for sharing 😊
Favorite toh ng pamilya namin, lalo na nung buhay pa Lola namin. sya mismo gumagawa nito para ibigay sa buong pamilya. ngayon mga tita ko naman ang gumagawa para paghati-hatian ng buong angkan.
@water bacon yah, I merely said that it was interesting and innovative using Mangos. I didn't say good job in inventing Burong Mangga! It's new to me hence why I said interesting.
Yas,craving for buro! Both Chefs are so cool.Thank u for sharing, will prep it for sure. For the gamet, can I replace it with dried laver (seaweed)? Hopefully makahanap ako ng Philippine Mango sa supermarket para mas masarap 😀 Viewer from SG

That was very interesting and very innovative with the use of Mangos to make buro. I've started following your instagram which is awesome 👌

burong manga with Laing ? ClaudeTayag(BaleDutung-Pampanga) is simply burong kapampangan .
It’s time for buro to be known in the whole country!!!!
Fermented Rice (burong kanin) in kapampangan is "tagilo".

@@thirdydolatre962 Cool, thank u Chef Thirdy 😊👌
Hoping for a hapag toyo collab here in feat.r
Pwede ring mawala ang pait ng mustasa kung lalagyan mo ng konteng asin after maybe 5-10 minutes pigain ito at iburo na
sarap menu nila sana nasa pilipinas ako
Ugh, i love fermented foods. I always think of them as a companion for survival whenever I fantasized about apocalypse. Ughhhhhhhh.
H

Hey!💗
Hi!!!
O.M. I'd been noticed pala by the featr fam. been watching your blogs since it's just 'Erwan heussaf' palang. Keep the fire burning! More powers🙏
Is not Balaw Balaw!
the right term is Balo-Balo for burong hipon, and for fish tilapia, mud fish/dalag is just Buro or Burong Asan 👍
Well iba sya sa naka lakihan kong "buro".. But i might try to do them
Request next vlog, tagalog language naman gamitin. Lalu na buwan ng wika ngayon August
500grams water or 500ml water for the pickling liquid?
they are equivalent :-)
There was one time, at band camp...
❤️❤️❤️
Pwede ba Burong daga?
Never tried buro and I'm curious sa lasa
First view
👍🥰♥️
balaw balaw- balo balo
🙌🏼😲😲😍
How different is the taste compared to the real buro?
It was also misleading. Buro/ fermentation does not use vinegar. This was mostly pickled
burong kamias - kapampangan style .
it'd be better with captions for the Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and immigrants/Filipino-at-Heart
FEATR > BON APPETIT
akala ko si baron geisler
I don't recognize the rice. What type of rice is it?
We used heirloom black mountain rice from Kalinga. You can also substitute it with any short grain rice.
@@thirdydolatre962 Thanks 😊
Rapsa yan.. 😉
It is Balo balo! Not balaw balaw!!!
Yuck vegannnn 🤮🤮
