LSU seemingly beat every team with a single digit in front of their football team this season. It was like I was watching a different sport than the "analysts" and playoff committee this season. It was straight up disrespectful when the committee moved OSU into the #1 position after they beat a semi-alright team in Penn State. The talking heads mostly pointed at the defense as the reason LSU was not as good as Ohio State or Clemson when in reality LSU was ranked #13 (9.4 points) in the nation in first half defense (points allowed) while their offense was averaging 27.9 points for the first half. Yes the defense slacked off, but the games were out of hand early and often. I think most of these "people" judged LSU by the stat lines and final scores rather than watching the games.
Whilst saying that, I don't think it would have mattered who we played or what our rank was in the playoffs, but it was really annoying having to listen to these "dumb&sses" all year and I'm glad we finished the way we did. Geaux Tigers.

Officials blew calls on both sides during the NC and even if OSU would have made it to the NC, they would've been blown out the water too. So stop the whining and recognize that this is the Best Team in College Football History. You're being a Homer, go eat a Snickers.

Once the offense stalled out though the defense got tired. They started missing tackles and blowing assignments. I’m not saying they weren’t giving one hundred percent but it’s too tall a task to stop that LSU offense over and over and over again without your offense producing any points. I think it's just simply still the way they play offensively. LSU plays like Pac-12 & Big-12 teams but they have Bama Ohio St level players within such a spread out aggressive scheme. Even team's like Ohio St, Clemson, bama all have great players but offensively they play slightly slower, more patiently, & more focused on establishing a running game. LSU is a pass first team that doesn't play patient, they're looking for big chunk plays & home run balls all game. They remind me of Oklahoma, 2012-15 Oregon, 2014-15 Baylor, 2013-16 TCU, except LSU has the best caliber players in CFB & those teams don't. I think the overall nature & mentality of the offense combined with the ridiculous talent they have makes them this good. I think other teams could find similar success if they would adopt a similar style offensively. Bama kinda has it & there a nightmare on offense.

They were not so much better than anyone else, they were LUCKY to have beat Alabama. Tua was playing with one leg, and a couple of unforced errors by Alabama. 1. Tua dropping and fumbling the ball with no one even around him. 2. Punter dropping a perfect snap. This changed the entire 1st half and as everyone knows Alabama whipped them bad the 2nd half. Alabama beats LSU with a 100% healthy Tua!

OSU was about the same as Clemson, hence the final score of that game. LSU proved they can beat any team this year by double digits, by finishing the season the way they did. UGA owned, Oklahoma annihilated, and then manhandled Clemson. Please drop the act like OSU was a legit threat. LSU's team this year was a generational team that will always be considered one of the greatest. 7 Top 10 wins, beat all 4 preseason Top 4 teams, 5 of the top 8 in the Final Rankings, and the list keeps on going and going.
