In this video we go through artistic finishes from a vertical starting point, that turned into the hallmarks for their authors. business inquiries: asker.skon@gmail.com
To me that deserves to be number 2. You look at who he caught. That’s the greatest fighter in history in my opinion and it just shows you can be caught!!
he held Borg's jock strap for more leverage from the back like that. He cheated, and that's the true secret to that armbar. That's why it will never happen again.
@@TheOpanak The real GOAT. I am not even a real fan of him but i can see clearly. Does anyone take it serious when Dana says that DJ isn't the best pound for pound mixed-martial artist but McGregor is?
I remember Masvidal being interviewed about that submission a few years ago. He said something like, _"I picked him up, didn't know there was a threat and now I have to deal with that upside-down view of my purple head."_
*Wow! What a selection!! 10/10! Those leg chokes are deadly! @ **12:30** he was trying to tap but too late! The might army bar at the end from D Johnson - PURE GENIUS and Skills - that was sensational*
I remember watching Demetrius Johnson pull that flying arm bar... At the time we'd never seen anything like it. It definitely changed the way I trained a bit, leg sweeps and kicks like Ryan Hall taught us turn into submissions if you can stay low afterward. Nice video thanks for putting it together for us. 👌
I used to hate on grapplers and "submission artists" as some would call them but after learning to grapple and fight a bit i realized how much skill is involved in this type of thing i hope One day I'm able to pull off a flying triangle like Paddy the baddy
I feel that Stefan Struve vs Lavar Johnson deserves a mention, especially coming from a 7 foot heavyweight. Not sure if it qualifies as a flying submission, but Struve pulled guard and transitioned to an armbar.
How could you miss the Sakuraba and Royler Gracie match, which was the beginning of MMA. Even though his shoulder was dislocated he didn't tap out, and then later with his brother Renzo Gracie where is arm was broken and he too didn't Tap out. It's where he got his name, "The Gracie Hunter".
Thats because its not a flying submission like half of the subs in this vid like how the title of this video says. didnt even have johnson vs. borgs flying arm bar which was a REAL flying submission only under 5yrs old. The newest clip in this vid is like 2017
@@420isplenty5 you got me I retract that part of my statement. Edit: I started getting dissapointed 2/3rds and then fastforward the last 5mins. thats my bad. but I still say that those were mostly just more normal submissions than a flying video.
@@jasonfoo8651 1st fight flying arm bar, 2nd fight flying triangle to armbar, 3rd fight flying armbar, 4th fight flying triangle, 5th fight jumping guillotine, 6th fight flying triangle to kimura, scissor takedown to heel hook(jumped in), 7th fight inverted triangle (while being carried in the air), 8th fight not a flying move, 9th fight iminari roll not a flying move, last fight literally the fight you said that should be on the video but isn't... I guess you only count it as a flying submission is if the opponent is in the air ? Weird ass logic. Not a flying knee unless they jump at you instead I guess.
Funny that ... In the 90's we used to practice the "flying" triangle almost every week in Brazil , among other pulling to the guard "flying" techniques.
Johnson's suplex to armbar submission was insane. But my favorite was watching Jorge Masvidal getting choked unconscious 🤣. I just wish Colby Covington was getting choked out on here
Damn. These fighters really have a strong skull, neck and shoulder. If do stuff like that, I will produce a combo in self-unconcious, self-damage, and self-blackout.
Cool, but I think might be very risky to do on a concrete floor. Might not be very practical on a real fight scenario on the street. But very cool to see on the ring.
If you do not get most of these subs then you end up either hurting yourself or leaving yourself very vulnerable. Only good practice and skill can have someone achieve some of these.
The choke on Masvidal was so brutal I got goosebumps. His face went gray in an instant.
It was beautiful to watch.
Just came write that. Never seen that before in almost 20 years of spectating 😲
Brutal
Ú7
He looked dead for real
11:20 That is a dead body if I ever saw one 😅FFS what a brutal submission! Amazing
For sure brutal! Almost gave me chills, looking like a piece in a slaughterhouse.
so satisfying!
Sent my guy to the shadow realm
I'm dying out here 🤣 my man shut him down!
@@in4mus85 He BSOD him like an old notebook 😂😂😂😂
Seeing that heel hook against Anderson Silva again was just as crazy as the first time!
To me that deserves to be number 2. You look at who he caught. That’s the greatest fighter in history in my opinion and it just shows you can be caught!!
That steroid abusing junky
@@bbkyjohnson damn right
Risky weird scissor take down to instant heel hook when he was losing/last round.. against Silva.. could be a movie. lol
Man those inverted triangles are scary! they go blue in the face FAST!
The suplex to midair armbar was just beautiful. Its like when you flawlessly nail two unique combos in a row from any fighting game
Demetrious Johnson one of the real goat's of the mma
he held Borg's jock strap for more leverage from the back like that. He cheated, and that's the true secret to that armbar. That's why it will never happen again.
No, not just any but Tekken with king

Dj submission is an art and what happened to masvidal was nasty
I remember Masvidal being interviewed about that submission a few years ago. He said something like, _"I picked him up, didn't know there was a threat and now I have to deal with that upside-down view of my purple head."_
that upside down submission on masvidal is pure art
Turned Masvidal to a Smurf
*Wow! What a selection!! 10/10! Those leg chokes are deadly! @ **12:30** he was trying to tap but too late! The might army bar at the end from D Johnson - PURE GENIUS and Skills - that was sensational*

😮That upside down triangle submitting Masvidal was my favorite
Amazing compilation - I'm in awe of these insane submissions
Muy hermosa edición de finalizaciónes . Gracias!
Great video, thank you for putting this together! Well done
DJ's submission is the best ever, look at that switch man is a combat wizard..
I now know what to watch when I want to cheer myself up. Anderson Silva and B.J. Penn getting submitted is joyful watching.
Haven’t even watched the whole video but you know number ones gonna be Mighty Mouse
As it should be.
It’s the greatest feat of athleticism and coordination in MMA
@@ghostamity5116 true, it’s quite impressive
I had never seen the mighty armbar but it is number 1 for sure. After watching this whole list I still never saw that coming.
That move could have been imitated into wwe
Flying submissions are the most beautiful and simultaneously the most potentially dangerous thing in MMA
That Imanary roll though.. that's fire beating opponents without giving black-eye on both
The Masvidal one is by far one of my Favs man he got done dirty
“Pablo instantly snitched up the triangle“.
I think you mean, cinched up, no? 😂
thank you. I was looking for someone else to notice!
Inverse triangle very efficient and impressive 👍💪
Classic Japanese Jui Jutsu very impressive 👍
Fun fact: All Paddy Pimblett's triangle chokes(3) are flying triangles.
cool story.
Paddy is an absolute EPIC BEAST !!!!!
I agree.
The angelic beauty she had in her prime didn't hurt either.
I remember watching Demetrius Johnson pull that flying arm bar... At the time we'd never seen anything like it.

I watched that live too. It was breathtaking
Snitched up the triangle haha, that cracked me up hehe. Great video btw :D

What really got me is when he said "Brian Ortega's decapitating guillotine to Cub Swanson" as he was indeed trying to take Cub's head home with him😲
I’m a T city fan but sucks he had a couple losses lately.
I feel that Stefan Struve vs Lavar Johnson deserves a mention, especially coming from a 7 foot heavyweight. Not sure if it qualifies as a flying submission, but Struve pulled guard and transitioned to an armbar.
i mean if its rad its rad 🤷♂

good fun stuff to watch and better to train keep it coming !
BJJ is a beauty to watch!
Ohhhh Paddy the Baddy! Ohhhh Paddy the Baddy!

I think he didn't inlude it because they DID NOT tap out, so it wasnt a submission

Crazy submissions
Seeing Bigdash get absolutely ROLLED like that after declining touching gloves with De Ridder was absolutely righteous.
great collection! really crazy!
Impressive job, mate. Very good video!
DJ will always be my favourite🤙🏻
0:39 “Are u kidding me…”
“Yes” 😂
What an awesome video, more please
Dude the Sato arm bar made me sub, hero of mine.
DAMN JORGE'S FACE TURNED BLUE!
10 more seconds and he dies...
Funny that ... In the 90's we used to practice the "flying" triangle almost every week in Brazil , among other pulling to the guard "flying" techniques.
D.J is the Master of that, techniques he destroyed the IronChin..Rodtang.. .the Mighty mouse😍😍😍😍😍
Great video!
Awesome assembly of carnage!
They are artists and poets in there.
Those flying sunmissions are so beautiful that black widow cant go without them
I witnessed the mighty mouse armbar it was amazing glad I was able to see that

Beautiful moves but deadly 🙏🙏
That flying arm bar is 🤌
seeing masvidal like that fills me with joy😀
His head was pale af. He prolly thought he could escape that submission 😂
That inverted triage is nasty
Love flying armbar in real fight . The master of that technique is Genki Sudo.
Thank you. Not enough Genki Sudo love these days; he was amazing.
Damn. These fighters really have a strong skull, neck and shoulder.

That thumbnail pulled me in I can't lie lol
Excelente video,👏✌️👍🇵🇪
KOs are great to see and all, really technical submission are way better though. It's mental and physical skill.
I remember sato before that amazing flying arm bar I remember him in bjj tournament in Canada love sato
The anderson Silva one is so amazing the only time prime Silva got dropped
Damn, those inverted triangles sneak right up on those guys and they're out before they realize they're in way too deep
🤣🤣Lost in the abyss of Bermuda"s waters🤣...how do you come up with these lines...mega hilarious🤣
Excellent video.
I once tried a flying armbar. Bounced right off my head.
haha same. it was in my BJJ class and my partner told me to try a flying triangle. he was laughing all over the place when I hit my head doing that.
The Mighty arm bar is a symphony in movement
Amazing thanks your share video.....
Cool, but I think might be very risky to do on a concrete floor. Might not be very practical on a real fight scenario on the street. But very cool to see on the ring.
Awesome game of the first guy
awesome final
Someone has to try the inverted triangle on Jones when he’s crawling his way to the middle of the octagon
DJ 👑
NICE!
the small dudes who have a normal persons wingspan. that is best MMA build. guys like tyron woodley, alex volkonovski, mighty mouse.
1:57 early 00's Fighters were JACKED ASF! they looked like WWE wrestlers.
scary stuff :O flying inverted triangle AND mighty arm bar
Interesting videos, very awesome
I'm actually surprised this kind of move is not forbidden. Seems to me there's a huge risk of neck break / major spine injury...
holy smokes, Rose with untied long hairs, my heart is melting x_x
Love that girl!
Top imada 👍🏻🤘🏻
Ryan Hall was my favourite
Geez, even #10 was brutal… talk about torque…
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!???!
...yes!
Good content.
Crazy kamazutra submissions
I went to school with the Flick brothers. Some rough kids, but a lot of us were lol.
Imada submission is underrated... Masvidal face turn pale like dead face... (breathless i guess)
Eko roni vs fairtex was a good leg submission
Las técnicas de inmovilización son muy buenas pero esta debe ser echa por un luchador rápido y que improvise según la ocasión que se presenten.
If you do not get most of these subs then you end up either hurting yourself or leaving yourself very vulnerable. Only good practice and skill can have someone achieve some of these.
0:25 the hell was that....
look at his hand brooo.... 😱.
Lol how cool when they frantically tap 😄..
4:00 first ever "leg-in arm bar"! 😄
YOU'RE THE BEST CHANNELLLLLLLLLLLL EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
