If the US Navy intelligence heard an implosion sound on Sunday, why did they not say something then instead of stringing this tragedy on and have everyone believe the crew were likely to die due to lack of oxygen??? I sure hope this information wasnt withheld by higher ups like the President to take the focus away from his son's guilty pleas for tax evasion and illegally owning a gun.
@nomad9336, the US Navy immediately flagged what they heard. But search and rescue decided to go ahead with the search anyway, just in case. Until they found the debris field, they could not be sure it imploded.. and this would only of been found in the search.
what lead to this failure was the guy who cut corners, the guy literally said he broke some of the rules to build the titan. he should be held responsible, he was warned about it being a death trap and he didn’t listen…
Yeah I mean, you can’t guarantee anything when you’re thousands of feet deep in the ocean. The pressure down there is beyond anything you can even fathom. Plus anyone on board has to sign papers acknowledging the danger.. It really isn’t any different than going sky diving.
All these companies that don't want to be regulated but they always accept government help when they get themselves into trouble. The cost of this search must be astronomical.
Serious question Was this a suicide mission due to all the safety oversight And Ocean Gate sounds so similar to Heavens Gate. RIP I pray future people will ignore going on exciting future ventures with people in charge who are taking dangerous shortcuts in the name of maximizing profits
@@icucingme it seemed like a good thought. Surely something like that could be done. I don’t know anything about the company or anything so I’ll have to take your word for it.
Sorry Thomasmochilla. With respect, not even some of the largest fresh water lakes, the Great Lakes (Superior, Huron, Michigan, Erie, and Ontario) ever give up their dead. Though foolish was their dive on the deepest grave may the 5 of TITAN RIP. Condolences to their loved ones. And hopefully something positive will come of this tragedy.
I find it very interesting that the amount of resources that were used to find a submersible that was owned by a private company? Who were these people? I truly wonder if there wasn’t more going on that we were not made aware of.
Definitely, they do not tell us everything 😂… cos they heard an implosion on Sunday and just said it yesterday… they knew what already happened and they know more but we may never know until many many years to come

Nomad….people are saying this is the reason…..nothing surprises me anymore.

Very sadly, but yeah. If the passengers knew the dangers and willingly stepped into the sub, then it's their choice. God bless their souls.
Yep. Woke, arrogant company owner.
@@ChimChim-di6jzThats why they dragged it out for several days
They knew it was the implosion when it happened
Yep. The Navy knew it imploded on Sunday.
YEP..SO THE KNOCKING AND BANGING HEARD EVERY 30 MINUTES WAS ALL A LIE AND THEY KNEW IT
May They R.I.P.
They were a bunch of rich people whom left litter on the ocean floor. They got what they deserved. If hell were real they should rot in it.
I just think of someone crushing a can of potted meat….. basically what happened
First there were sounds. Then this and that. They have no clue what happened, they'd never put serious 💰on those guesses.
We will be visiting them in 100 years
Uh not intentionally. Will still be visiting the titanic, they will just be that other thing that imploded near it.
Oooh, what lucky men; they were...
Why did they wait till Thursday to disclose this?
billionaires
The titanic was actually the Olympic
So sad praying for families
What??? There is nothing known to man that can go to a depth under water like that.
Then why did they waste money searching? It was obvious it imploded when contact was lost.

So they knew something was wrong but they decided to say nothing????
The Navy notified the Coast Guard about this noise but what should the Coast Guard do with this info ?

Put some inflatables on the next one. That way if something happens you can push a button and float to the surface. This was unnecessary.
The inflatables wouldn't survive such a implosion. I doubt this company would bother anyways as reckless as they were. ☹

@@jayteefishing1543 It's a tragedy regardless. I feel so bad for the 19 year old that was only there to please his dad. 😞
@@icucingme ah man I didn’t know that… that’s freakin horrible. Poor families.
So sad
False.
$250k a head at least it was quick
Stay optimistic and never give up hope. No human remains found means the passengers may still be alive!

Could’ve been an inside job, one of them (was) a billionaire, and does have a next of kin to inherit it. Could’ve struck a deal with the son
They could’ve made it look like an accident 🤷🏻♂️
