Ground Up Build Honda CR125 2007 Restoration

  • Time lapse of the ground up build of this Honda CR125 2007. Includes start up and photoshoot end result.
    This CR125 was relatively clean but after it locked up the top end we decided to strip it down and give it a once over.
    - vapour blasted frame, engine and nearly every alloy part
    - cerakoted engine cover
    - PC exhaust system
    - VHM head
    - Samco hoses
    - 1mm over rebore
    - carbon fibre tank,
    - carbon fibre disc covers, case saver, master cylinder cover, exhaust holders
    - new wheel Set
    - CRF fork with EZE products clamps

    Beautiful ! Looking at that bike, you definitely have some big money into that ! Can't wait for the CR 250 to get done. I have one with about $ 3500 into it plus the cost of the bike. I try to stay away from anodized parts as much as possible. They look like crap in 2 years. 😁

      There was about 10k AUD parts put into this after the purchase price, I didn't keep track of labour, vapour blasting and Cerakote costs. I'm not a big fan of anodizing either, I actually just striped heaps of new parts back to raw for the Carmichael build

      I ride mine every week and it still looks great because l have polished billit hubs instead of the red anodized. All the good stuff from FMF, Pro Taper, Works Connection, Galfer etc. People that see it ask me if l want to sell it ? No no and no ! So much fun ! 😁
