It's Beautiful how one never gets tired of commenting about Freddie. His unlimited talent made the grade troughout music history. His legacy has changed minds all aorund the world. I actually became a musician for him (among other geniuses). Our vocabulary lacks of words for expressing how grateful I for getting to hear him sing. God save the Queen.
I just love this song! Love it so much, I'm doing an artistic figure skating program to it. LOTS of fun!! And Queen being the perfectionists they are, it is produced beautifully!
As much as I agree with the paragraphs of appreciation of Freddie, I don't think that much needs to be said. He was an incredible person. Plain and simple.
One of my numerous favorite ones from Queen! Amazing! A little Fox-trot... One song illustrating the genious of Queen: no common structure and so much creativity and orchestration
@watchpotch ....True, they were all geniuses. And although they all contributed brilliantly to the magic of Queen, Freddie was the soul of Queen. Queen Rockssss!!!
flyppyflyer, I agree with you. For me, "A Millionaire Waltz" and "Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy" push "Races" past "Opera" on the greatest records of all time list.
@ozman626 same here man, when I was 6th grade I was listenin' to what everyone else was listening to (mainly rap and hip-hop)...but half way through 7th grade, I got into the Eagles, then I discovered Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen, and so on and so on all the way through dictionary of classic rock
I love this song, and night of the opera. (i like that album so much, unfortunately it has BR on it, but the rest is genius) and Lazy on a sunday afternoon is also great
When I was a kid I didn't care for music much at all. My dad used to play a LOT of queen. I'm a queen fan since I was like 3 or something but they never got me to go and find any other bands. When I got bored with queen (yeah I can't believe I just said that-that's because I only had like 2 or 3 albums back then) I just stoped listening to any music because I didn't like the modern trendy stuff. Then when I was about 12 I picked up my old albums again and now I also play guitar because of Brian.
Don't know what Nurnlrl is on, but it must be pretty strong. For one, don't accuse Freddie Mercury of any sort of theft, and two, I don't know where the hell you got the idea that When I'm 64 and Seaside Rendezvous are anything similar, but wherever you got it, it's wrong. Anyway, forgetting the nutcases, this is a brilliant song. I love it so much
@ozman626 Sounds almost like my story :O Killer Queen also changed my music taste totally. AC/DC was my very first change though :) And now I play 5 instruments, and love everything from soft rock and blues to metal
no wrong queen didn't do a rap version of another one bites the dust, that song is just Wyclef Jean rapping over a queen base, and was done in 1998(if i'm correct for the cartoon toy story), 7 years after freddy death which obviously couldn't do a duet with him
@noodles356 Freddie was Queen? True Queen fans know that Queen was 4 people, each one with a valuable creative capacity essential to Queen's sound. If you listen to Freddies solo work you'll know it sounds nothing like Queen. Freddie was the front man but he wasn't the sole creative force.
Not to take anything away from Freddie Mercury, but I think that you could nearly sing "when I'm 64" to the same music, and in almost the same style? OK all the music hall stuff is similar but....

"Good Company" is one of my favorites from that album. It has that "Night-At-The-Opera" touch!
2:07 hahaha! ;) Love Roger! And of course - Freddie, Brian and John :)
As much as I agree with the paragraphs of appreciation of Freddie, I don't think that much needs to be said. He was an incredible person. Plain and simple.
Fantástico!
Freddie realmete é O CAARAAAA!!!!
Uhuuuu....dalí Mister!
Gotta love 'Run Awaayy!'
One of my numerous favorite ones from Queen! Amazing! A little Fox-trot... One song illustrating the genious of Queen: no common structure and so much creativity and orchestration
yeah i used to listen to all that rap, pop, and other stuff on the radio. now i listen to classic rock and what not
Oh,I see, that's music coming from their mouths huh? I thought it sounded something like that. Heh,funny and imaginitave, pure Queen.
I love this song. And Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon and Death on Two Legs, well the whole Night at the Opera albulm.
@watchpotch ....True, they were all geniuses. And although they all contributed brilliantly to the magic of Queen, Freddie was the soul of Queen.
Queen Rockssss!!!
So neat to hear we both became Queen fans around the same time. Maybe I'm one or two years younger than you though.
hear hear, FreddieMfan1, I'm really tired of it too. The music LIVES!!
Freddie Mercury...A showman to the finish!
Most radio only plays the hits... thats why they miss out on the gems. Try late at night and you're more likely to hear something special.
that was a remix done years after Freddie passed away.
flyppyflyer,

The album that includes the gem "Somebody to Love" certainly have the merits to compete with A Night at the Opera

Loko!
It was easy to say 10 years ago too...

Definitely Im in Love With My Car, not a fan. But I love Good Company. :/

halfway right, he was bisexual...he'd CLAIMED to be gay a couple times (so did Bowie in the day), but in actuality he liked both men and women.

Brian May was those solos are amazing and have a distinctive sound.

Like, recently?
Cause last time I checked, the whole world has known that Freddie was gay for quite some time now.
Dude, you don't know what you're talking about.
