I think people get lost in the fact that he was one of the greatest vocalists in rock, they forget the fact that he seems like a really decent, down to earth person with a genuine passion for life, and zero ego.
What I love freddie mercury more is how he loves his audience and fans naturally. He loves entertaining them. We miss you freddie. So sad that I was too young then to appreciate you and ur music.
It's an old Hungarian folk song. I'll provide lyrics translation: Spring wind pours water, my flower, my flower Each bird chooses a partner, my flower, my flower. Who should I choose? My flower, my flower? I choose you and you choose me, my flower, my flower. (Note: My flower is an expression similar to darling in english.)
That concert was easily one of the most important concert of the second half of the 20th century. It was fitting that an awesome band like Queen was one of the first Western bands to hold a concert at the other side of the Iron Curtain. The concert was a sign of new times to come.
Freddie was such a wonderful person. He was so extremely talented and always so authentic. He often looked like a little boy having fun and enjoying being here on this earth. It's sad that he lived such a short life, but he lived it so intensely with whole his body and his soul. R.I.P., beautiful Farookh Bulsara! We will always love you!
I love seeing Freddie on stage in the empty arena practicing his vocals and then how it transitions to the actual concert and everyone joins in ... sublime moments.
he died two years after i was born, i never met him, and i never saw him perform live, but, i feel like i know him personally. now and forever a Queen fan...rip freddie, we love you, from the USA
I wish I would have had to opportunity to see Queen. They set the bar, the standard that has yet to be achieved by any other rock band ever. Freddie's vocals, amazing.
Starting @ 1:28 Freddie loses his concentration when Mary smiles @ him.And the way they both looked @ each other says everything.Even after all those years your history and feelings can't be erased. So sweet to see the love they had for each other!
Randy Oh Very much so, yes. He said in another life, he probably would have been with Mary. He always made sure she was taken care of though, and even left her most of his estate, so figure that one out lol.
Mary and Freddie sharing a special moment. Mary approvingly smiles at Freddie as he sings in Hungarian, and Freddie can't seem to concentrate on the song anymore. There was definitely still something going on between these two loves, and I believe it continued for both Freddie and Mary until the end. The song Love of My Life sums it all up! Freddie knew he could never find that kind of love in any of his other relationships. I'm so happy that Freddie experienced real love.
It's such a stupid feeling when you know Queen was playing so close to you - or even in your home town (Ljubljana!!) but you couldn't go, because you weren't born yet!! While I love Queen so fucking much!!
Ah. It's almost bittersweet to watch these. Those vocals! Just amazing! His sassy charm... Just love Queen! Wish I was a tad older... Was only 12 when he passed away. Unfortunately, because Queen was not big here (usa) I really only knew a couple of thier hits. Then Waynes World came, and my love for Bohemian Rhapsody turned into buying there greatest hits which in turn began my love affair with Freddie. So not fair. - Mary Austin seemed like such a devoted dear friend. She was with him before and after his success and then throughout his demise. I'm glad Freddie had her.
Freddie Mercury era um amante da música, especialmente do estudo vocal (em especial o canto lírico). Nesse video, Freddie dá uma aula de técnica vocal para milhares de alunos. Simplesmente fantástico!
Freddie Mercury was a lover of music, especially vocal study (especially the opera singing). In this video, Freddie gives a lesson in vocal technique for thousands of students. Simply amazing!
Queen...one of the greatest rock bands ever. In my mind there is no doubt that they are the best ever. Plus Freddie is such a great singer, he has the skill, that fuckin epic attitude, he made every performance outstanding. He was/is/will be a legend til the end of time! RIP Freddie
We trekked all night on a bus convoy from Belgrade and dealt with those scary Hungarian customs officers to see this show. It was the first time I've gone to Budapest to see a show. July 27, 1986, I was 16. By far, this was the best live show I have ever seen! I miss Freddie so much, every time I hear a Queen song :(
My mum was at uni in Budapest at the time of this concert. She couldnt able to afford to go herself, but heard the performance and the crowd from her dorm.
I agree, I love the way Mary stands by his side as always. I hate to hear the negative press about her stealing away Freddie's riches, etc. He loved her, she loved him, who cares about anything else? Yes, he had men and she had children by other men, but I believe Freddie and Mary were soul mates on some level and thus the reason for him leaving Mary his estate despite her unwillingness. Rest in peace Freddie.
Amikor ott áll a sárga melegítőben, az üres stadionban és énekel...hát nem is tudom, hogy mondjam, annyira személyes pillanat...mintha személyesen ismerné az ember...fantasztikus énekes, fantasztikus együttes... Queen forever
01:12 Is it the house of parliament? Is it for sale How many rooms? Do you ever have server courts? It's not a good thing to say lament did not say that jIJIJI :D Its that soooooo Freddie
Bonnie M, that's the German band I was thinking of. Anyway, Queen was a staple at high school athletic matches, teams would come charging out to the sound of "we are the champions!".
(L) R.I.P. Freddie Mercury
"Do they have enough servants quarters? Ohh not a good thing to say in this country. Sorry i didnt say that" haha i love him, so funny. Mary was so lucky having him as her best friend. God if only we could bring him back.
When you’re born after Freddie died but you miss him as hell
I was born before he died but I dont miss him. I like some of his songs, though.
I have never met Freddie. So, Why I do miss him so much ?
City Rocker I miss him so much too, I was born in 2003
His magic.
You and millions of others
I think people get lost in the fact that he was one of the greatest vocalists in rock, they forget the fact that he seems like a really decent, down to earth person with a genuine passion for life, and zero ego.
"The Houses of Parliament. Is it for sale?"
"Not a good thing to say in this country"
He was as witty as he was talented musically.
What I love freddie mercury more is how he loves his audience and fans naturally. He loves entertaining them. We miss you freddie. So sad that I was too young then to appreciate you and ur music.
Once upon a time Freddie said it wouldn't be easy to replace him. Well, it's not difficult it is impossible....
Freddie the best singer and the funiest singer 4ever and ever!Actally no-one else is like him and i hope everybody know it.
I love it when he says "How Many Bedrooms? Does it have servants quarters? Not a good thing to say in this country!" Cracked me up time after time!!!

Thank you! I've wondered what this song was.
It's is very sad that today you just can't find talent like Freddie Mercury, FREDDIE is GENIUS
That concert was easily one of the most important concert of the second half of the 20th century. It was fitting that an awesome band like Queen was one of the first Western bands to hold a concert at the other side of the Iron Curtain. The concert was a sign of new times to come.
Cold War era, this was a historic concert.
I pay tribute to this great band.
And, more than anything else that Mary looks happy. I'm so glad.
Freddie was such a wonderful person. He was so extremely talented and always so authentic. He often looked like a little boy having fun and enjoying being here on this earth. Greatest Rock "performer" that ever lived. Bowie, Ozzy and Mr. Grohl come close, but no-one will ever be "that good" again... I miss him so much...
I wish I would have had to opportunity to see Queen. They set the bar, the standard that has yet to be achieved by any other rock band ever. Freddie's vocals, amazing.

Not at all, he even looked away lol
wasnt he gay tho?
Randy Oh Very much so, yes.
He said in another life, he probably would have been with Mary. He always made sure she was taken care of though, and even left her most of his estate, so figure that one out lol.
Shocka Delica its not mary, she is his hungarian language coach.
She is not Mary, Its Judit Ábri, Hungarian language coach.
How can any1 not LOVE FM. He had an amazing sense of humor & his smile. But most importantly; he is the GREATEST entertainer of ALL time.
