Thank goodness this thing isn't flogging smoke everywhere. Sounds great! I had a 12v close to this, but it was crazy smokey!
I had a turbolab t51 modded 66mm hx35. That thing sounded like an absolute beast and turned heads everywhere until it exploded and sent shrapnel into my engine when I hit 37lbs of boost. Turns out the builder forgot to install the C-clip and my engine paid the price. The shaft exploded and I’m pretty sure it would have let go anyway having that much mass of a compressor wheel on a small frame turbo anyway.
Now I went with a 76mm AGP T51r modded S376. Not quite as loud but the shaft is twice the size and is now much more reliable.

I’m curious how is the smoke while driving in traffic? I have an auto with all the supporting mods but looking to do a turbo injectors and head studs. Not looking to make crazy power I don’t race or tow really just a fun daily driver
Do you have a quadzilla? You can run insanely clean power out of them. If you want to smoke you can with a quadzilla but the custom tuning allows you to run insanely clean tunes
Right now I have an edge juice with attitude but I’m strongly considering a quadzilla for the custom tuning. I really like the cts monitoring but I believe the quadzilla does that as well thank you for the response as most of the videos I see of the fleece the trucks are pouring smoke

Fleece only makes a s463 for these trucks there’s only one option in the cheetah for size

@@CustomCustomzI could be wrong but my understanding is that even the stock spearing hx35 cheetah is a stage 4.
@@24vrussell I’m not sure what stage 4 means but the cheetah that’s a drop in for these trucks is a 63 mm the same size as a s363 mm turbo. Fleece takes the stock hx35 I think it’s 58mm could be off but the make it a 63mn turbo

Thats a fixed geometry turbo sounding like that. And I thought only vvt turbos sound nice, I might be selling my lmm now!! Lol

I cant get more than 40 43 psi out of mine not real happy with the fleece just a expensive drop in
Have you adjusted your wastegate? Also more PSI isn’t necessarily the best way to tell if your turbo is providing more airflow. Ideally you’d have more boost at lower PSI
@24vrussell waste gate as far as it will go does boost good at low rpm but power falls off as soon as the turbo hits 40 psi and waste gate opens

Just did a fleese on my 3rd gen 6 speed and it SUCKS!! Yeah it's sound ok at idle .it dosnt sound good driving ,it's not loud, and it lags so bad! My wifes stock turbo on her 06 is mutch better than the fleese, waste of 2000$

@@brandonplous8968 injectors would help, and you can only ask so much from canned tunes.
What’s your timing set at? Pulling back on that can help spool.

fleece sucks, china chargers, throw it away
I’ve had the fleece on my truck for over 80k miles… no issues, tows regularly, and still sings loud and proud!
