- Charles? The Rover 75 has an admirer, and I was asked if I would be interested in a swap. I need a proper family car, and I wanted a Volvo V70, so naturally, I said yes. Although the car isn't a Volvo, it's just as suitable.

I went on the M6 on Saturday but I didn’t see myself on your video. I can confirm that diesel Volvos are most excellent on motorways, I had to go to a place where I didn’t live and I managed 68mpg. I hope you and your new 5 Series will be very happy together. One day you’ll really surprise us and swap a car for money 😂

Thinking about the saddle tank bit. If you need to replace the tank and can find someone to make it, you could put a flat bottom on it without the section for the rear wheel drive and get a higher capacity tank.

Should sold me Fred the shed for shed money! Mind loving my Mercedes 330D auto! She got a bit rover on her as stole a MG Rover Direct sticker from a scrap rover 25 in the scrap yard will forever be a rover man me!! But always had soft spot for old Mercedes Benz as my dad had half a dozen of them when I was a young boy! Can't give more than I know a car is worth as I know how expensive things get when ya fixing up a old shed!! All cars are sheds just some more expensive and valuable than others!!

Charles was a good, comfortable, cheap to run, easy to fix and untimately reliable family bus if ever there was one which stood you very little. Kind of think you turned a corner when you got it, tidying up, chopping in scrap and being more positive but how wrong can a viewer be?!!

oooh MAZDA 6 estate but not the 2.2 pulls like a train until it doesn't anymore, found that it sneaked to over 100 with the caravan on the back a little too easily. but a nice motor.

@@ProjectNigel scared the bejeebers out of me, was downhill but one of those days where the caravan was perfectly weighted or was it 90+ either way it was too bloody fast and still better than the Pug 407 that followed, or the Mondeo, happy with the S-max now and 60ish and no van on the back.
