You Russian?
yo i have been playing for a while but still not improving can u help me?
@Disgusting_Developer This is a beginner's guide not a scout meta guide. The bat is imo the best melee weapon for a beginner to use as it doesn't have to deal with some weird mechanic and it helps finishing players off when you're scattergun aim isn't the greatest yet.
The pocket pistol overpowered as f*ck and I don't want to recommend people to learn with overpowered items.
INTRO SUCKS LMAO
Most important fact: Don’t wear Lime Green
StickMaster500 I’m trying
“But, but it make me feel happy in side”
Wrong, its well known that wearing lime makes you -420% better as a player
Pink only
Nor pink
i can do anything a scout can do except AIMING
Me too lmao
*SAME*
I can aim with heavy
@@splitzayden heavy and pyro is just w + m1 lol
Literally me when I'm playing scout
This channel is criminally underrated, like seriously, this guide was so helpful for new scouts, and yet you only have 1.3k subscribers.
Nice tutorial. I really needed some help using this class, I didn't even know it had double-jump! Having played with it for over 12 hours now the most important aspect, as you said, is to get REALLY close to your opponent before shooting them with the Scattergun. If you don't, they'll figure out where you are and backup will arrive, so my tip as well is to get close, and don't stop moving.
0:33 That heavy made me die of laughter.
Lmaoo

I wonder how he got that Aussie Scatter with that aiming skill...
Money doesen't buy smill,you know...
Probably with money or trading
@@CraftOfSparta you mean skill?
Nick has Chad juke skills.
and yeah, that scouts aim could have been better.
meanwhile this stock is making it look easy
I am interested in TF2 and I really like the idea of playing Scout, as his movement speed, low health, and general playstyle remind me a lot of movement shooters such as Quake and ULTRAKILL that I already excel in. Thank you for the guide and wish me luck!
gl bro
*Meaningless insult*
*Meaningless comment to reply to meaningless insult*
*Meaningless comment to reply to meaningless comment that commented on a meaningless comment to reply to it.*
Nice to see someone had the same idea as me.
Now this is what I call a true scout guide.
Also jump to not get shot as easily when fighting. I have kill heavys with medics by jumping around. I know it sounds basic but not alot of new scouts do this
But when do you double jump in battles cuz it is harder to aim if you are not staying on the ground.
Officer Earl I know I’m late and you probably know how to do it already but with time you’ll adjust your aim when fighting off the ground.
Been maining scout for 6 years. Guess I STILL don't know enough. Good video.
Thanks! Got the game recently and I have been struggling, I'll keep these tips I'm mind 👌
2 years later, how much have you improved? gone with a different main? uninstalled the game?
@@phantomkelgar3704 still play it once and a while, still love to run and gun with scout, and I guess I am better..?
@@Vexthewolf03 thats cool, i suck at scout, but I'm a halfway decent demo. got maybe 400 hours in total, feel like im still learning the game.
@@phantomkelgar3704 same tbh
You're super underrated bro this video was so helpful
Very high quality content and good frags.
Thanks might I learned a lot of how to be a perfect SCOUT!! :)
Nice frags dude
What an great intro my guy!
Thanks this was really helpful most of the guides i have seen were not very useful
great content as always
RYHS ok Josuke
the intro is actually nice
Finally a real tutorial thank you so much:D
aye thanks for making nice video. keep it up :D
dude i dont care about the intro! Keep doing what ur doing and don't listen to those trolls. -- Rockman08
thanks this video is make me great scout
Great video
This intro is godly
This will help alot.
Great video, very helpful.
Thanks dude!
nice intro i dont think it was bad. thanks for tutorial
Thank you!
Hi I saw ya on casual today(Peter) x) Mah aim got better because of your vidz, thanx
Great video, I liked it.
Things that are good to switch out Bat for:
Atomizer (Triple Jump)
Boston Basher (Easier Ubercharge and Boston Jumping which is basically the new Atomizer but I think it got patched)
Sun-on-a-Stick (A whopping 100 damage to burning people)
Candy Cane can also be really useful
Thanks for the tips I'm new to tf2 even if this video was posted 2 years ago.
Relly good video
Thanks for the guide😇
thank you man
i will try remember
Make more of these about the different classes
GOOD held bro thx
Holy shit thank you. I’ve started playing tf2 with my friends and they said to learn scout first which I love playing but I’m not good
Hello. I keep missing my shots as Scout but I feel as though my sensitivity is perfect for almost every other class. Should I lower my sensitivity every time I want to play Scout?
No you should use the same sens for all classes. You might need to just practice a bit more.
Thanks! Im now mutch beter with scout! Al thanks to you
That intro do
No im joking, thanks for the guid.
Your intro was good
nice thanks!
Oh bro you videos are so fucking good and this tutorial be the reason I want to be good at tf2 and specially scout tk very much nice tutorial 😎
So I need to keep moving on combat as a scout, kinda make sense why
As a scout main, the best loadout for scout (in my opinion) is:
-Scattergun
It’s the most reliable primary compared to the others
-Winger
Limited clip size, but you jump much higher (stock is also good if you don’t want to lose clip size)
-Boston basher
Since you can damage yourself, it helps the medic build Uber (plus, the bleed effect is good for spy checking + doing more damage with melee
The pistol is also really good at taking out sentries.
On maps like high tower or sawmill, I would use the force-a-nature
helpfull, seriosly for starting players really helpfull :) good job :)
Nick where is your accent from, where were you born? I have experience with accents as i was born in Venezuela
I'm from Belgium. I don't know exactly "where" my accent would be from though, probably snippets of accents I've heard when learning English.
i actually like your intro
Well recently a lot of people have been making it clear that they don't
No. 1 tip. Flick your aim. Actually works well with all shotguns, but still. Flick your crosshair to your enemy.
I think this will help me improve, I was constantly dying to sentries and trying to figure out how to deal with it, patience is a virtue I suppose lol
The one thing scouts lack; patience 😢😢
@@lovelightstarboy Yup
Ah okay so overall message; put your Doom 2016 Ultra Nightmare Experience to the test
How is your gun a lil bit under u pls tell meh
It's called minimized viewmodels, it should be in the advanced options
Still useful in 2020 👌
Scout is the best class to destroy spies, snipers, medics and demomans with "nature force"? (Dont remember the english name for it atm) you can 2 shot everything from demoman and lower and you can 2 shot most soldiers with low hp if you get close enough. And with it you can launch anything to air from close enough so they die to fall dmg or your 3rd/4th shot or melee.
Force a Nature
How can you use the crosshair generator whit the min viewmodel
Go to cfg.tf, it has a very easy to use crosshair customizer. It can set it all up for you, min viewmodels included.
Why do you have the viewmodel like that in the first place?
Because I like to see more of my surrounding. The stock viewmodels block the screen to much.
What viewmodel he uses??
krustyy thx Mate
I'm biased I know, but I think that the winger is an incredible alternative to the pistol, as the extra jump height boost can be used to maneuver to some places that can't even dream about with the normal pistol, not to mention that the debuffs like the decreased mag size usually don't effect you seeing as overall the pistol is a last resort and, as he said here, should only be used to finish people off when your scattergun is out of ammo
Personally I prefer the winger as well but this guide is aimed at those who are new and I do believe that the stock pistol is easier to use. Also, the winger gives you extra jump height, not a speed boost.
Oh right
Whoops
how to move?
LMFAO THAT INTRO
Another tip for scout: cosmetics don't make you better. Many scout mains I know including me have made this mistake, sure they may look cool but its better to take skill over fashion.
Scout in a nutshell: spy but he announces to everyone that he is attacking
Can you do the Demoman's guide? It's been 2 months bro
Life priorities: steamcommunity.com/groups/Nickbox_group#announcements/detail/1656637309853931732
(yes this is still going on and yes the filler video didn't work out)
It also doesn't help that tf2 doesn't want to run anymore for some reason since yesterday.
Oh and as for the demo guide, it's not my immediate plan but I'd like to give every class at least a beginners guide eventually.
Alright, man. Thanks!
I know this is a bit old, but when can you use the pistol at the right moment?
The pistol is best used as a backup weapon for when you run out of shots on your scattergun mid combat. It's way more effective then reloading 1 extra scattergun shot as you'll have more bullets to shoot and your enemy will typically be at low hp. You could also use it for sentries at range if the engi isn't nearby or if you really want to grab the enemy's attention from range.
how you made your weapon look small like this
Bruh minimized viewmodels is a box that you can check in advanced options
I played my 1st game of tf2 not long ago ising scout, and boy the sentry was my worst enemy 😂
Is this Nickbro the Scout main?
I play other classes too :p
Nickbro101 Are you trying to self-exposing yourself >:^{
Every class is OP if you know how to use it.
Is tf2 good on laptop?
If only if you have a mouse, and a keyboard(only if you don't feel comfortable using the keyboard of the laptop).
What aimbot are you using?
I know it's been 2 years, but he's using this thing called *good aim*
elektonomia! :D what about JJD?
Only heard of him recently with sugar high. Like it so far.
Should I have auto reload on
Yes, there is no downside to having it. You can shoot to cancel the reload animation with no delay.
@@Nickbro101 ok thank you. I'm new so I was wondering if there was a downside or not.
This Guy is so Pro Using Sniper I Suck Using Sniper I Just Use Scout Cuz Scout is my Fav. Class And my Record on my scout is 180+
U probably won’t see this but what’s ur viewmodel fov
90
@@Nickbro101 wow that was fast haha ty good vid
scout isnt considered a pick class he is a generalist.
While he is a generalist, he is also a pick class. Scout is excellent at eliminating specific targets but, unlike sniper and spy, that it isn't the only thing he's good at. Due to his speed he can contribute to more general situations.
(In case you're still confused by the naming, there are three rolls classes can fall under with potential overlap, pick, power and support. Then there are also two categories for how many situations the class' skills can be applied to, generalist and specialist.)
Nickbro101 he isnt a pick class bc he doesnt have a one shot mechanic like spy and sniper. just because the class has potential to kill things quick doesnt make it a pick class. a revved up heavy in a corner isnt a pick class bc he kills things good lol
Being a pick class doesn't mean that he has to one shot people. A pick class is a class that excels at single target elimination. Scout's hit and run playstyle fits in perfectly. Seeing a scout rush in just to kill the medic and then get out isn't uncommon.
you could simply not have an intro at all, you know. It's not a mandatory thing to have.
DISCLAIMER: If a player calls you a "Scunt" There is no coming back from it. You have just caught a deadly chronic illness called "Scuntimia". You will physically incapable of not being toxic or taunting after a kill. SYMPTOMS: Wearing The Fast Learner and the Earbuds, Frequent taunting especially the Schadenfreude and Frequent medic calling.
Good ol' scooty mcbooty.
dont you mean kill and run
1v1?
You missing one more there thing that New scouts don't do that other scouts does: They don't Double jump when they in battle
noice
video : *how to play scout*
intro : *Nickbro kill scout*
Did you know?
The Bat creates more random crits than the other default weapons
Yes, I did know about that. However I didn't mention it in my video as you should never rely on a random factor for your succes. I see even less reason in mentioning it since random crits are removed in more serious matches and with the discussions that have been happening surrounding random crits, I wouldn't be surprised if they get removed from casual as well.
Nickbro101 same. Well at least my comment is "fair and balanced." >:3
:D
i cant hit another scout when IM scout, nor can i hit anybody else.
Having consistent, over 60 frames per second will be the biggest benefit to your gameplay.
Damn your viewmodel_fov sucks! But in the same time I use that same fov so that says a lot about me lol.
Okay... After you're done Listening to this joke here are some "ADVANCE SCOUT TIPS"
1. Wear Lime Green or Purple colored customizations. Or even both if your cocky today
2. Innappropriately name your guns, like Mad Milk (The Cum Buckets)
3. Teabag your enemies corpses
4. Throw salt to the enemy that killed you. If you want to, you can add tons racial slurs
5. Spam "E" for Medicks when you have 124/125 health
6. Throw endless amounts of Salt to your Teammates and Enemies when you lose a match
7. Taunt after every kill, or if you want more salt and hate. Taunt on their bodies
8. Create the most saltiest Of Saltiest Loadouts, (Force-A-Nature, Crit-A-Cola, The Frying Pan)
9. One v one Heavy and throw absolute Shit and Salt to Heavies when they kill you
10. Always take the lvl. 1 teleporter and ignore the Heavy infront of it.
11. Always take the Large Medkits when you lose 1 point of health and ignore the Medick with 5 health left.
12. Always make excuses like, Laggyness and Disconnected Mouse shit
13. Call other Scouts in both your team and the enemy, a complete Noob spelled with zeroes
14. Never admit that you suck at Scout
15. Always use the Frying Pan
16. Become a Squabling Virging Abortion
17. Become a mistake in Humanity
18. Reconsider your existance
19. Don't use Condoms during sex
20. Name your self With double Xx in the start and end of your name, it doesn't matter how insulting, racist, edgy your name is, just add Xx(name)xX
No medics where harmed while making this video :(
well all i remember is *default settings suck af*
Im willing to bet that most of the viewers here arent even beginner scouts
I'd be much more happier if you would just upload a few vids per week of u just playing random casual games or comp and maybe live commentary.
The scattergun has 9 pellets per shot, not 10
Bob Reday No it has 10. If you turn of random bullet spread then you do get a 3x3 pattern but the 10th bullet lands in the top left together with the first one.
Nickbro101 oh, i forgot about that.
anybody still here?
