@@QuickyBabyTV True; if your only goal is to get a t8 prem and you reroll everytime you don't get a tank then if you buy 10 boxes you still only have 1/3 chance of getting a tank (I was lucky though and got the T92 and I'm loving it)

The Christmas-Boxes were/are/may be a fair "gamble": no matter what was inside the box you got at least your money back in Gold (250) - so you did not lose money. But with these footlocker you only get half your money back in gold... WG seems to be in need for money.
Last Christmas: there was the AMX 13-57 in the calendar and instead of buying the tank I invested the money in boxes to get the gold for buying it in the game. Worked fine and I even got the E 75 TS... so that was nice. But now? I don´t gamble.

I do like these ones a little bit tho. the rerolling thing is a good addition especially with the free gold you get. and with 16 premium tanks to chose from? sounds like a steal. I know alot of people who got the t77 or another premium in 5 boxes

I don't know why so many people complain about this. You can just ignore the loot boxes all together. I much prefer that WG would only earn money by doing events like this, instead of premium ammo and OP premium tanks. Everything that does not affect the gameplay is not P2W, it's a way to earn money for a free to play game.
jesus people don't understand that you're not getting duplicates in boxes if there are other tanks to get in the boxes that you don't have. last year on christmas, you wouldn't get a duplicate tier 8 if there were any left you didn't already have. so if you don't have any of the tanks, you are screwed if you want the t77, but if you have them all, just buy 10/20 boxes and you ll get it

They really should be required to disclose the exact odds of winning. That's the difference between this and a slot machine. The casino actually has to list the odds.

Should see the console versions loot boxes they're worse. Cost $100 for 27 boxes with the same chances in getting tanks and worse "other" rewards. 60k credits. A single game use 2x xp earner. It's horrific

Not actually sure about that. If you consider that every drop but a T8 prem is trash, and since you already have decided that the crate is worth 1$, doing a reroll doubles your chance of getting a tank. The only reason NOT to reroll basically every box if you value 100 gold at 50 cents.
Looking at the store, there is 300 gold/$. That means if you are spending 80+ usd (big gold pack price) rerolling crates is worth it.

I wouldn't be surprised in the community Contributor crates were "spiked" and deliberately had more tanks, after all, these are the ones we are all going to see opened across numerous channels. Sneaky, clever and excellent marketing by WG. there is probably some kind of "Sharp Practices" law against it in most countries though.

It's the whole reason they put in an exclusive tank that has not been sold before.
The T77 sucks and isnt really worth it, the DPM and armor are bad.
I bet they're gonna be selling it 2 months after the event when everyone is done trying to gamble for it.

And I too can't stop laughing, for getting 4 tanks for 5 euros each, whiteout spending any other gold than what came from the crates. So, yeah, reroling for the win!
Edit: BTW, crates don't drop tanks you have already, so there is that gold exploit gone.
@Adrian Chew I got 5 free footlockers from completing missions. On my first chest I got one of the t-55 rare crew skin! But then the rest I just got those garbage credits...

I wouldn't be surprised if they did but you also have to remember, some people may get extremely lucky with these boxes and some people may not be so lucky. For example, one of my clanmates bought 30 boxes and he got 5 premium tanks (T92, T77, VK 168-whatever, M4A1 Rev and the T-54) within the first 10 boxes. His luck ran out though after the last 20 boxes but he still got a lot of premium tanks.
On the other hand, Claus opened 100 boxes and I think he only got one premium tank (a T77) but it took him 90 boxes. It's going to be different for everyone, whether they're content creators or not.

Depends on the country. In Belgium it is indeed illegal for example, but it wouldn't be the same in Germany
That’s why they put slot 1 in the loot box, which means you always get some shit, that would probably make this legal in most regions.
Try Fate Grand Order. You have to spend hundreds of USD to have a chance at rolling for the thing (Servant) you want. Unfortunately, this kind of thing is still legal in the USA and getting more and more popular.

Grim reminder that these are "Special footlockers" given to content creators. I wouldn't put it past Wargaming, that they give content creators footlockers with modified RNG, so when they make videos about them, they show better chances to get the stuff, than what a player would, if he buys 200 crates. That's just marketing 101 for you
I play Warships and watching them open the crates last year made it look good, CC's got ship after ship, so I bought some, all I got was camo and signals, some coal and 100k free exp, boy did I feel silly afterwards.
It's not the creators fault of course, I'm sure they don't know about it. But Wargaming is definitely the kind of company who would pull shit like that

Yeah, if you spread it out, it is, but if you, personally don't happen to buy 80, just let's say 40 or even 60, you don't get a single premium, as you got all 3 above 60. You see what I mean? Mathematically you are correct, but the RNG is not consistent on the crates, to be statistically correct as well.
Tip for this video: Watch on 1.75x speed, QB sounds like an auctioneer who is gambling. Enjoy!

yeah, buying lootboxes is stupid already (since u basically tell WG that loot boxes are lucrative for them and they probably will do lootboxes more often now), but if u have little money it is even more stupid. It's hard to feel any pity towards you, like it is completely your own fault. Even if you would have spent the money directly for a premium tank, that would still be a stupid idea in your case.

The 100G "re-roll" is insidious. Basically WG is counting on you to throw away the gold you are purchasing because you don't like the pathetic bonus reward. Remember that the price of these containers is based on the dollar purchase value of 100 Gold to circumvent the online gambling restrictions imposed in the EU. When you click on the re-roll button, you are throwing money away.

With 4x 10 packs I got 4 premium tanks including the T77 and all of the other goodies.

Here is what I got from 10 crates: 700000 credits, 7 days of premium, 15 50% credit boosters and a T26E4. I rerolled everytime I got a demounting kit, training booklet or a single booster. I think I got extremely lucky, I don't think they are worth it. Thought you might all like another persons perspective. (I think I got the T26E4 without rerolling.) (I also got small things, like single boosters upon rerolling or demounting kits.)

This game helped me thru the worst period of the pandemic. My wife is a doctor who has been seeing patients the whole time so our social life has been and still is non-existent. After playing since April I still am very bad at it but hey it's great therapy. My point though is for people to keep in mind that there are some of us out there just enjoying a game for any number of reasons. I've received so many toxic messages that I don't even read them anymore. Some may be very affected by the bullying though and if you are an expert at this game doing this is totally unacceptable. At any rate harassing people online is something only a true coward does as in person such an individual would be too terrified of any confrontation. Let's all just enjoy this fantastic game!

I'm not saying this is what they're doing, however, there would literally be no way for us to know if they purposefully make the community contributers boxes more valuable to increase the chances of viewers spending money on these gambling mechanics....
...it took WG about one year to fix their chat servers and the clan chat in my garage is *STILL* flashing yellow after every battle despite no new messages... do you seriously believe they are competent enough to implement different RNG for different people?^^

I opened 100 boxes after watched this video. Got 7 premiums (includes T77) + 4 personal training. What a deal!!!
The only thing you guys should care about this footlockers is SLOT 2, which has around 5% to 10% roll
*RE-ROLL every single time unless you have personal training book.

If there's anyone in the chat who's willing, I'd like to recommend this:
Anyone who purchases these loot boxes should record their statistics and compile their data with others. That way the community will be able to make informed decisions on whether to purchase these boxes. Wargaming won't release the drop chances of these boxes so it's up to the community to function as their own consumer advocates.
I'd personally recommend that everyone hold off on these and wait until the holiday ops loot boxes, but if you're dead set on buying these, you deserve to know your chances.
I dont remember all the junk but the tanks i do. Bought 30 crates, got FV2402 on my first roll, and T77 on my 22th
I opened 4 boxes (FTP) and I managed to get 1 rare crew skin, 200000 credits and a repair kit
Just bought 10 boxes, I got:
4x single demounting kits (rerolled one and got 150k credits instead)
2x three day premium time
1x 250k credits
2x 50% experience boosts for 1hr
1x set of 5x demount kits.
(plus 1000 gold, minus the 100 for rerolling once = 900 gold)
if the single demount kits had been anything else, i'd probably have been 'happier' with the end result, but it still a farce at the end of the day.
25 boxes, 2 premium tanks, T92 in box 11,T77 around box 23. Probably rerolled half the boxes, a couple more than once!
i opened 25 loot boxes i got:
15 days of premium
1 lowe
2*5x50% more credit boosters
the rest are 50%exp boosters and demounting kits
i think i rerolled all of them
Still suspicious of the RNG on crates provided for free to CCs. There is no way it isn't tweaked, at least slightly, to produce favorable video worthy content.

If you believe the odds are stacked against you, I'd suggest uninstalling altogether. In every match, there's always that one idiot who also thinks that only THEIR shells do less damage, or fly off the target completely. But that's just RNG, and everyone has the same RNG.
The reason why QB seems to get a lot of tanks here, is just because he's opening and rerolling so many crates. You remember the hits, and not the strikes.

I dont know how big the sub 16 playerbase is, but a company should have some kind of "care" so that children and teens dont become some kind of gamblers and throwing money away.
With this kind of money burning gambling, your raising a new generation of, maybe not gabling addics, but gamling affin people with bad habits.

You mentioned at around the 48 minute mark that the chances of someone getting the t77 when they already have all of the other possible drops, to be 0.57%, however I think it's worth considering that in these crates, WG is giving you one of the tanks you DONT have already. So if you have all the others already, your chance to get the T77 becomes very high. I came to this conclusion because I bought 120 crates, and managed to get EVERY vehicle that they were offering, apart from the ones I already owned (is6, even 90, lowe, wz). Since I didnt get any duplicates, and only received the ones I didnt have, I either have 1 in a bazillion luck, or my theory of them giving you ones you dont yet already own, is true.
Yeah I opened 50 and got not a single premium. Even getting one would have made it worth it

Couple of things. 1: Watched another CC open his this morning. Funny how he got the same 2 premium tanks in less than 15 crates. So is that a thing to get us to buy these? 2: Would it be possible to collaborate with the other CCs to see total results? I don't have the time to look into it.

I bought 4x 10 of these and got the T77, Kanonenjagdpanzer 105, FV4202 and ELV EVEN 90, so 4 tanks including one lootbox-only tank for under 40€, not too bad :D

I bought 10 Boxes for 8,10 EUR, and had the T77 in Box No5 after reopening this Box. In the remaining 5 was the FV 4202 and ive spent another 2,25 EUR for 500 Gold to reopen Boxes. For a total of 10,35 EUR i got 2 Tier 8 Premium Tanks, (including 1 which is relatively rare the next Months), several Days Premium Time, a lot of Silver (more then 1 Mio). Only with the last Box i gambled to much, didnt take the 350.000 Silver+100 Gold and invested the 100 Gold for reopening and... got 1 Demount Kit- and spent another 250 for a 2nd. reopening and.... still just 1 Demount Kit.
All in all im quite satisfied with the result. It was gambeling with 10 EUR just for the fun of it.
And i hear you say, dont spend money on wg anymore: Yes, it was and still is my intention, never give them money again untill they removed all Clowncars from the game - but i am weak, and their marketing is realy clever. Mea culpa m8s.

Bought 50 crates for now. Wrote down all my results, will post spreadsheet link if you want.
Though, based on my research, rerolling anything that isn't a premium tank is worth it 100%.
The short is, all of my crates pre-re-roll came out to $49 in value.
All of my crates POST-Re-roll came out to $164 in value.
So after spending $45, if I re-rolled nothing, I would have only come out $4 ahead, but since I re-rolled every non-tank I came out $119 ahead.
I also tracked the loot from each crate, and what it became after re-roll.

Tomeccko the xmas boxes imo are actually very decent and these if you think about how little you are paying per box, the value is quite good, i spend $5 on 5 crates and got 3 tanks back from it

WG have mastered the ART of LOOT CRATES with WoT BLITZ and their mobile games. Its sickening how they are going down this road more and more now 😫
True, loot boxes are immoral, but there are always to sides to blame. If noone would buy lootboxes, WG would stop putting out lootboxes since it wouldnt be an effective way for them to get money. So if players buy Lootboxes, they basically support this mechanic, and WG will repeat that in the future. I tell you, at one point in the future, lootboxes will be the ONLY way to get every new premium tank. So don't ever buy lootboxes. Everyone who buys lootboxes is not better than WG. They ruin it for the other players who dont support this crap.

I bought 40 footlockers. I got 2.8 mill credits, 6 days of premium, one personal training manual, one french training booklet and KanJPz 105. Others were of less value like 50% Xp and credit boosters and a few demount kits.
I am happy with the KanJPz 105 tho. I didn't have it and I paid pretty much the same as it would cost and got a lot extra.
You and Dez both got the T77 in your footlockers within under 20 boxes. Took the 33rd box just to get the KanJPz 105.
Some people get the RNG lucky.... and some don't.
It's all in the roll or, for this instance of event, a re-roll to get a chance for a Prem tank.
