Also, the black hole ability: always make sure you get caught, too. You get points for every collision.
I would rather stay outside and shoot them off cliffs or into acid pools afterward.
Then I can stay alive and not have to wait ~7-8s for respawning.
Also, if you get sucked in a black hole and get flung you should use your forcefield since it makes you fall to the ground faster kinda like an anchor
@@SC-jl8sv Another fun trick: drive into the black hole and trigger the forcefield power up: you will get double the points for both colliding and affecting everyone with your repulsion.

Anyone else notice WG tosses in these events towards the end of Battle Pass? They want to pull your time away from BP progress in hopes you will just spend Gold and buy out the last stages you need, instead of grinding them. 🤔 🤘😎
maybe but you can do BP points in Onslaught mode. so idk what is their angle
Finished the BP at the end of April 😂 already spend the points on 3 crew members. I don't think I can gather another 3k before the end tho.
So having fun in the mars mode instead
@@MatthiasBouillon on stage 2 in BP as I can only play 5-7hours a week. Having a blast in Onslaught tierX only 7v7 is a joy I do good I win I do bad I loose. Non of this premium paid actors nonsense like on randoms

@@wherearemytesticles Lol, this was literally the second time buying loot boxes in all of my 7 years of playing WOT. The other time was when I bought ONLY 50 boxes during the Astron Rex Waffentrager event. I only got a lansen C... a tank from a nation I don't play.

FOMO - fear of missing out. One of the most powerful manipulative sales tactics. That's what they keep betting on with limited number/time for new content (ie tanks) and loot boxes.
These tanks will always be on sale, one way or another. They are not (what I'd consider) FOMO. It's the black market type of offerings that actually are rare and precious.

@@DisgruntledDoomer fomo quite literally is when a thing goes on sale for a limited time uncommonly. thats how it works. its not as bad as black market but its still fomo. you either buy it now or in the case of this buy crates now. and hope you can get it later if you dont get it. and to my knowledge no tier 9s have been outright sold on the store yet either. so your argument holds no water when most of the tanks on the list have only been sold either 1 or 2 times or zero in case of the tier 9s. and some of em are old and only get put up like once a year too. so like. this game relies on fomo. if it didnt all of those old premium tanks would be up for sale constantly. but no only the old bad ones. but the old good ones are fomoed to hell.
@@snekthekek8668 You can have your opinion, but other games are so full of FOMO - and I mean _actual_ FOMO, with stuff that NEVER comes back - that calling WoT a game that "relies on FOMO" is just stupid. You can always get these tanks, one way or another. And you won't miss much, even if you can't wait for them.
Spain passed new legislation last november on lootboxes, haven't read much into it yet though
In the Netherlands these are already seen as gambling, but no public case has stuck yet (EA dodged a bullet by offering the boxes for free as well, and most people taking that option)
As I was saying in QB's TL-7 review video when he had a slip of the mouth and called WG "WAR GAMBLING" - that should be WG's new name, since it so perfectly represent WG these days... game play has already been full of RNG, and they keep pumping out lootbox events, it's just gambling everywhere.
I don't need online poker, slots or casinos as I play WOT. Thats enough of gambling for me

I was given 50 boxes from my son and in them I got 5 tanks...none of which I've had. They were the T77, T-44-100, IS3A, E75 TS and the TL-7. Considering it's supposed to be a 1/50 chance of getting one tank, I thought I'd done rather well. Also received 53 days premium, numerous training booklets, 4 skins for commanders, 5 camos, 20x 5xp and 250.000 credits. Good result I think

@@Vrey662 . Not impossible. I was in shock as much as my son when I opened them. He got himself 50 boxes and got 3 tanks.
Being a reletivly new player I had very good luck with these boxes. Opened 195 of them which comes out to less than 200 bucks and I got 8 tanks from them. I calculated it, and it comes out to around 23 dollars a tank. On top of that I got a ton of other rewards that make progessing a breeze like 60 days of premium.
The gamemode is UNPLAYABLE due to single digit matchmaker. Clanmembers join up into the same battles and end up singling out a player to farm knockouts on.

This event seams like a massive amout of effort THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER SPENT ON NEW MAPS for the regular game..

They just do the recon mission and then analyze the results for a year and after that maybe release one of the recon maps. I don't think they lack the resources more like willpower.

@@sebastianbornaz2977 Can always happen. I got really lucky with the christmas loot crates, though I've no intention to get the during any other time of the year. I always use the gold from the christmas crates to get a full year of premium extension, get the christmas bonuses, and whatever else drops (such as premium tanks).

I got both the Chieftain and the TL7 on the bad luck prevention box (50 boxes). The only reason I considered buying those 100 crates (75+15+5+5) is because I have all the other tanks, so was guaranteed to get the two I wanted.

The another ability is the sinkhole, the yellow one in the map, which sucks the enemy vehicles around its radius and
throws them all over the map.

I bought 50 crates.
15th crate, I got is the T-44-100, which surprised me since I already got it but upon checking, the one I have is the T44-100 Igrovoy.
23rd crate, I got the TL-7.
34th crate, another TL-7 turned to 12,500 gold.
44th crate, Aston Rex turned to 9,500 gold (since I already have it).
So, a few years back the loot boxes would come with gold and re-roll mechanic. If you didn't care about keeping gold, that meant you could buy max 25, re-roll once for the gold that was in the crate you just opened, break even on gold and get two chances for a tank, for the price of one. Which, WG realised, was far too generous.
So they removed the re-roll mechanic. Still, the crates would have gold in them and if you bought 50, the price would be pretty much equivalent to buying as much gold as you would, on average, find in the crates. Meaning, the guaranteed tank in the 50th crate and all the other stuff were pretty much extra. Which, WG realised, was far too generous.
So we are, where we are. No gold, abysmal crate content, but same prices. Why? Because people will still buy it. The only reason they can monetise the game the way they do is because people don't care, they still keep throwing cash at WG no matter how shit the content gets. It's not the WG ruining the game for everybody, it's the players, a bunch of grown up people, who don't seem to be capable of keeping their money in their pockets when they are being taken for mugs.
i only bought 5 crates and got the TL-7 and the KV4......would say that is very lucky

So i bought 50 cases and i ended up getting the t77 and the TL7... I was shocked but I can't complain lmao.
Bought 50 boxes, got a chieftan proto, E 75 TS, and T77, got another 10x personal training books, and 12x unviersal, only 1 premium day, a bunch of 5x exp, and a ton of booklets, i would say i got out pretty nice from these boxes.
Sounds like my haul from the Shamrock event....lol
I would not pay that price for these things.
@@ahsgas 60 something dollars and he made out with 2 T8s and a 9. That would be way over value in the tanks alone since T8s go anywhere from 40 to 60 bucks by themselves. Not too shabby honestly.
As a free to play player I really like it that this time we at least can get 2 boxes for free from the missions

Reminds me of the lunar Rover game mode where people were driving around in IS-8 balls
with only a 2% dropchance - you will only get a T8 in the boxes 2/3 times you buy 50 boxes.
If you only buy 20 you have only a 1/3 chance to get a premium.

The ONLY time I have bought crates was those ones that got x4 chance of premium tanks (or x4 to some type of value, I can’t remember exactly what.) I assume premiums because I got 6 tier 8 premiums in 20 boxes. But will not buy boxes from wg unless they are being generous in the boxes, which is what I recommend all of you do! 20k battles ~1800 wn8

I rest my case, this is the way, I have spoken.
My earlier math was all messed up: 50 boxes provide an approximately 64% (1-0.98^50) chance of getting a tank without the guarantee. This is approximately 1 sigma. The guarantee backstops this probability and ensures that you get one tank if you buy enough boxes to reach that one sigma probability. However, when accounting for multiple tanks, the 50 box guarantee no longer applies, so the odds work like this:
2 tanks in 50 boxes: (1-.98^25)^2=15.7%.
3 tanks in 50: (1-.98^16.67)^3=2.3%.
2 tanks in 75 boxes: (1−0.98^(25)) + (1-.98^25)^2 = 55.4%
3 tanks in 75 boxes:(1−0.98^(25))^3=6.2%
3 tanks in 100 boxes:
(1-.98^25)^2 + (1-.98^33.3)^3 = 27.5%
FYI, the number of boxes required to reach an approximate 50/50 chance of getting a premium tank is 34.
Yet another "grab glowing ball" game mode. If I wanted to play Pacman, I'd be playing Pacman.

So,first i bought 50 boxes,which brought me 1 tank that I don’t need,the KV-4 KTTS.I was upset and didn’t buy any for a week,then I received a bonus at work and said to myself that I wanted the TL-7,and bought another 75,I received the chieftain from the first loot box,then the T-44 and the KV-5! I bought another 75,and instantly received the TL-7,then the aiS-3,the KV-5,then the T77 double which translated into approximately 10k gold,then another double,and another chieftain double which was 13k gold!the last 75 crates contained even more credits,crewbooks,personal training manuals and universal manual!so the more you buy the more you’ll get!hope it helps

WG did their calculation and found out which way is better/more profitable to introduce new premiun tanks and here we are, marathons were swapped for lootboxes
I bought 150 today, was desperate for the Cheiftan P. While it took me 49 to get my first tank... a T77. I then got the TL7 next, then the Cheiftan P, the Bofors, the E75, and the Astron all in the next 101. I do realise I was very luck.

I got 3 premium vehicles from 75 boxes 5 more boxes and got 2 more , tl7 christen and e75 then t77 and torvagn
I got the Astron from 15 boxes. I wish I had stopped and not bought another 20. On the other hand, at least I got a lot of premium and stuff, although I wish I just didn’t buy more
The worst box reward is when you get ONLY a single crew skin. Such a slap in the face. It’s literally not a reward at all.
I bought 75 Crates and got extremely lucky, got the TL7, Ch proto, KTTS and the T44-100 which I don't have and got 2 extra tanks I have so got gold instead.
Hopefully WG fix the issues where people crash because of the mars gamemode. You can also get thrown and crash into the cube like object
I would buy some of the boxes if they contained gold. I do that on christmas boxes, as I play during that time and will use the premium time, but I also want gold to be able to purchase premium later. x5 missions are laughable replacement for me.

Ngl, if you take the loot boxes from the perspective of "I'm paying £35 for one random tier 8/9 premium" then considering the chance of maybe getting multiple premiums and also the other various rewards i think they're kinda worth it ngl - if you go into it with that specific mindset anyway

Next loot boxes War Gaming releases is SU-100Y boxes that look like the SU-100Y and you can get a tier 2-6 seal clubbing premium tank after 50 boxes....
10:05 I was thinking on getting the KV-5 for bonds but I wasn't convinced, I wanted to buy because of the x5 missions and to get some tanks I was missing but didn't want to get screwed by a KV-5, so yeah, bye bye 8k bonds
This game mode became a lot more fun one it realised it was Bumper Cars IN SPACE!!!! 😮(well, on Mars 😳😅). Cos the reload is so long, eliminations are more likely by bumping the opponents to their doom! 😁😇
Bought 15 crates, first one got the kv5 - im happy.
i have a problem. whenever i go battle in mars mode the reticle disappears randomly and doesnt appear again

I think, it is only me who is thinking that the new mars rovers are new british mediums which can turn without moving forwards. I think Wg is test this feature out with this game mode. What do you think?
For the first blikk the Mars game mode made for under 10 or 12 yo people. However if I make the daily mission I finish this in 5 days. So that 30-40 mins/day is worth for that we became.
Holy forkballs I think Wargaming must have heard that I badmouthed these boxes by calling them "completely ass." I decided to just grab 15 of them and maybe hope for a universal crew EXP book if I was lucky.
Got the Chieftain Proto on Box #2 and the TL-7 on Box #11. This is the first lootbox event where I have gotten a tank WITHOUT hitting the 50 box guarantee limit thing.
I don't think WG bets on people buying small amounts of these containers. I used to buy the Christmas containers in WoWs for the first two years. I was drilled about gambling as a child. I knew my chances and I always bought 100-200€ worth right away because of that. Which, I believe, is what people who buy these do. They don't go "Oh, one more. This time I will surely win." It's players who sweat, who actually want the resources you get from them. Not the vehicles.

50 euro every 3 months is not a bad cost, premium time carries on to next set of boxes, you dont need to spend another penny really.

WG should focus on making the core game better. Reduce RNG to 10%, fix MM so OP tanks face off against OP tanks of same tier, and get rid of option allowing players to demount equipment for free and excluding 3 maps

On random mode, they appear to the right of your tanks in the garage slots

I know the intention is for us to watch you open these crates and for us to be excited and purchase boxes, but this video had the complete opposite effect.

I got 15 boxes last time, and got a Gonsalo and a 59-Patton, and my friend got that Japan TD thingy from 15 crates. I almost think the drop rate is as high as that before seeing your video.

I bought 15 more boxes, and get E75-TS and TL-7. There is definitely something shady going on here. I'm a somewhat new player with not so many premium vehicles, so maybe WG gives higher drop rates for players with less premium vehicles.
