I have quite a few Timber Rattler and Copperhead snakes on my land in Tennessee. I have noticed that the Copperheads smell like cucumbers and that's at least some warning that they are around because they blend in perfectly with their camo and the ground around them. Snake season here is very serious! Watch your step!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

I never had any luck in this kind of stuff. This year i said screw it and for the first time ever bought 11 boxes just for fun. Conclusion after 7 boxes opened:

Bought 28 boxes last night and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Got the new styles for the 103B and Minotauro, the German KW-1, the mini Maus, 15k gold, and 35 days premium. I'm not a diehard player so the gold and prem time was worth it.

I got crazy lucky on these, bought 80, got 4 of the five premiums except the vipera within 60 boxes
I also bought 80, got 4 t8s within the first 15 and then the last at 65
Bought 105 boxes. Didn't drop a single tier 8/9 apart from 2 guaranteed.
I bought 25 and got none of them😕

Additionally I got 6 more prem tanks, more than 30.000 gold, 1 month of prem time and 3.5 million credits.
They forgot the demounting kits. Such a shame
They didn't forgot.. same shit with no tier 6 premiums so you receive less gold for duplicates.

With 80 boxes (mixed) i got bz, m47 patton , amx amle , ambt but i had it already , skins for super conq char futur french arty and strv 103b , and about 34000 gold ...plus credits

Here is my breakdown of the 4x50 boxes. I received all 10 of the premium tanks. (27 in all) If you get a tier VIII or IX in the first 25 boxes then you are guaranteed to get a chance at all 5. You can still get all 5 if you get 2 close together to reset the counter. (I maxed out the counter 2 times). I received 10 prem. tanks in my first 50 boxes including the SMV in box 20. It took 195 boxes to get all VIII and IX. (Last 50 boxes were really bad only 2 tanks, one being the last tier VIII, mostly silver and prem days.) Everyone gets a total of 40k resources. You will not need them all to get to level X. You will have plenty left over to convert to tokens. You are guaranteed to get 50k gold. I received an extra 17k in boxes and 15k for dupe tanks note that I did not receive more that one VIII or IX. 148 Prem. days. All 5 skins (116 boxes) 3 in first 50. 11.6mm silver. 27 Garage of which 17 are extra. I noticed no small boxes this year, sort of takes the fun out of it. You do not need that much in resources to fully level up Arnie and Milla. Basically now it is just finish daily missions. The question is how will the gift terminal work. When do we convert our left over resources to tokens? Based on my calculations I estimate the total value of the 200 boxes to be $780 US. I used $35 for VIII & IX prem tanks. $6-!0 for II-V tanks. Gold $.004 per, silver $.00001 per, Garage $1.2 per, Prem days $0.276 per, skins $10 per. Overall I say worth the $240 I spent on the boxes. Good luck, enjoy the holiday season.
i got to box 50 before i got my first premium tank, and the next dropped on box 51! ended up with all of them.
Just finished the cat's mission, and now I want them to make a 3D style for the Maus to match that toy.

Here's my breakdown, just so everyone knows what sort of value you get back--
Expenditure: 200 boxes = $240 US
Recieved:
- Enough points to completely upgrade the town in one go to level X
- Enough resources to completely max Mila and Arnies "festive atmosphere" bonuses to battles, with a ton of resources left over for arcade coins
- The cat
- The dog
- The Tanks-- All the low tiers (II thru V), Iron Arnie, Char mle.75, BZ-176, (I had the rest offered already; e.g. AMBT, Vipera)
- The styles: all 5
- The gold: 113, 550 added
- The credits: 14,700,000 added
- The Prem Days: 112 added
Rough conservative total, averaging tier 8 of $30 (x3), Tier 9 of $40 (x1), and low tiers averaging about $10 (x5), = $752.23
Total above found by going to website and figuring "any amount of gold" + credit totals if bought outright.
Total Does NOT include costs for:
- the styles
- all books*
- personal reserves*
- Extra Crew memebers*
- Extra Blueprints*
* received from completing Mila and Arnie upgrades
This is why I look forward to this one event every year, as I cannot beat the return value for investment to further enjoy the game. Yes, I understand that's going to tweak someone's nipples, but you do you and I'll do me cuz this aint for you anyway. Good luck for those doing it!!

In answer to your late in the video question, snakes emit little smell unless they are diseased in some way. Much of their natural prey would be signaled to their presence if they did. Even in tropical climates the scales of snakes are fairly airtight to the actual skin, and the scales are made of keratin like nails and hair, but with the surfaces being solid walls of crystalline structures. However their droppings and urine do smell, so snake habitations needs to be cleaned frequently to keep them from smelling bad.

I was able to get all 3 new T8s, all but 1 style, and all low tier tanks in the first 100 boxes. So the other 100 boxes was basically just farming gold and the last style. Got 114k gold total.
I bought 200, got all styles tanks inc some dupes (inc 2 WZ's in one 5 box roll!) and ended up with 120k gold, pretty happy as that will last a while. Also remember if you are pulling solo boxes like Quicky, look for the BLUE glow, that tells you that you have a tank or a style.

i guess my % chance was a bit on the lucky side i ended up with like roughly 106k gold from the 200 boxes and i didnt have any of the t8/9 prems in my garage, ended up getting 2 m47s, 1 char, 1 bz, 2 vipera, and 2 or 3 ambts~
last year bought 11 boxes got the Skoda T56 on box 9, hoping for some similar luck this year as well heh.

To confirm, the non garuntee pulls of a tier 8+ premium can, in fact, be duplicates. I have a spreadsheet of every pull from each box in order of opening. Did fairly well for a player just starting out on pc

To be honest, the fact that you got so many Pz 38H in a row, after not getting them in the first tens of boxes, feels like the complete opposite of randomness, for anyone into statistics. I have a feeling that the algorithm decides, at the moment of the purchase of the boxes, if and how many of the T8/9 premiums you'll get. It certainly felt that way to others, when receiving all the tier 8s and the French t9 light in the first 30 boxes or so lol.

I bought the boxes last year but theres no advent calendar this year so I dont really any more gold.
QB opened 200 boxes and didn't notice that the gold shimmers are replaced with blue ones when you're about to get a tank or style. XD

Got 12 boxes, first 2 were styles for Rhino and T49, 3rd was BZ-176 and 8th was AMBT. Pretty good imo. Oh also got the cat and 3 low tier tanks

50 boxes gave me mini-maus 5 times.... Can't complain, I got Vipera and all the low tier tanks aswell. 5x Mini-maus and 3 X the SU-2-122 with appropriate gold compensation. But Tier 8 came with last box as guarantee. Now I got something like 22K+ gold. 3D styles I got were for Super Qonqueror, FV4005 Stage II and Bat.-Châtillon 155 58
I bought today 11 boxes, got AMBT in 3rd and got that new tier 9 French light in 6th box.. so I guess I'm lucky this year, no need to buy more☺️
You were hyper lucky. I got no tanks at all in first 49 boxes. Tbh I think Wargaming are trolling me with RNG knowing I always buy loads of boxes to top up my gold.

I bought 50 boxes as a payday treat. I landed ALL the tanks (less Vipera and 38H, which I already have, and M3 light, which I don't want) and all the styles for both years.
80 boxes: Char, BZ, Iron Arnie and the Vipera.... All the lower premiums + 5x compesation in gold. 4 3d styles. 56 days of prem time, 5.100.000 credits 32.750 gold and ofc the Cat. Pretty lucky imo getting 4 high lvl premiums..
I got all the tanks and styles from this year and last year so feeling super lucky. But as you asked qb I got all the tanks before my first repeat of an iron Arnie showed up.

good breakdown quicky. i bought 12 boxes and got 800,000 credits, 3250 gold, 9 days prem, 3D for S. Conq and 4 Prem tanks (BZ 176, Pz Kfw KW 1, A25, and M3 Light).
I opened 200 boxes yesterday, got all of the tanks they were giving away. my first came on the 50th box, and the second came on the 51st box! had all 5 plus the low tier ones by box 160. I also got 105k gold, 200+ days of premium time, 11 million credits and way more than enough resources to pump the festive atmosphere to level 10. by far my best box opening ever. And to make it even better, i used the coins in the machine thingy and on my 3rd coin i got 5 days rental on the 283, and on the 4th coin got the actual tank in my garage! what a day... MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
I always love when you do the boxes, I do 100 every year...mostly for the gold...This year...I got 4 of the T8s boxes and the T9 in 100! Crazy, was good value in the end. 31 boxes would auto get me another T8. I too was light on the styles.

I got the Char, BZ and Arnie ALL from the first 20 boxes. Bought 80 of them, also got 30k gold so that 100€ right there alone so it was "worth it"
I did the 80 box package for $106. Landed some skins, low tier prems, 34,000 gold, about 3 mil credits, the Char MLE 75, Vipera, and BZ-176 along with 60 days prem time.
That kv1 premium is one of my favorite tanks in war thunder

the box has a blue glow when you get either a style or high tier premium, otherwise it’s just yellow

I got baited twice by the 3d styles, but in 28 boxes I got the bz and the char 75, I was very happy considering I bought about 80 last year and only got the skoda and the low tier premiums

"only" bought 23 (11 + 12 pack) and all I got tank-wise were the Hopkins and M3, weee
Love these boxes. It’s my little treat to myself and the only thing I get lucky on. I buy just 5 boxes. First year I got the gsor.
Just opening up some boxes, and the styles CAN drop along with the low-tier tanks. My STRV style dropped along with a Harry Hopkins in the same box. So it seems the styles may be an entirely separate roll from the tanks.
Edit: And it really is RNG for the styles. I just got 4 out of 5 in just the first set of 50 boxes I opened. The last style just got on the 59th box.
Edit 2: Just got the 4th and final T8/9 I needed as a guarantee on the 105th box.
I got very lucky this year compared to my normal luck, I got the AMBT in 12 boxes, the char in 27 boxes, and I bought the 80 box pack so I managed the 50 boxes confirmed after to get the vz and I got pretty much all the lower tired tanks and like 5 styles

Got quite lucky this year. Bought 80 boxes. Got 2 tier 8s the tier 9, 4 skins in that 80. Was quite happy, decided to leave it there, not test luck. Although I did get the two tier 8s one box after the other. One was the garunteed, box right after I got another tier 8
I don't know some is answerd your question, but yes the "random tier 8-9" box is guaranteed to get the new tank and not a duplicate. To others I think I was lucky but with 150 boxes I get: all the new styles+1 from last year, the CAT, 95 days of premium, 90200 gold, 9.2m credit and 26 premium vehicles( I think 3 or 4 tier8 for compensation) good luck for everyone and happy holedays

I purchased 80 boxes and got all of the premiums minus the AMBT but I already had that one.
I opened 2 batches of 75 boxes, so 150 boxes totaling up to $200 USD, and here is my personal experience.
First batch of 75 gave me near the bare minimum, 1 tier 8 premium and 1 3D style.
Second batch of 75 gave me the other extreme of RNG with 6 tier 8 premiums and 2 tier 9 premiums along with 7 3D styles.
The totals came out to: Every new premium tank, 93,250 gold, 10M credits, 95 premiums days.
Don’t bank on getting anything in these boxes except the bare minimum. It could’ve been the first result twice in a row

To contribute my own experience - I bought 108 Loop boxes (80 and then a 28 pack). Within 50 boxes i got the AMBT, Vipera, and Char MLE. Then ran the next 50 boxes without one, triggering a guaranteed Tier 8, which was the Iron Arnie. I Didn't get the BZ but i'm happy with 4 of the 5, that's for sure. (Gold was 44,500. Credits were 5,400,000)
Got super lucky. Got the new t9 light on my first box and the cat on my 3rd

- ~39k gold (had no T8 premiums of the ones offered)

- 85 days of premium
- Enough resources for holiday spirit IX, Arnie's and Mila's 8/10
If I looked well the credit bonus is locked to tier, if you have 3 holyday rank the credit bonus is used only by tier 1/2/3. Am iright?

By the way QB you have to level up your festive atmosphere to be able to get the boost for research. For example if you want to get the boost on the obj 430 your atmosphere would have to be level nine since it’s tier 9
