I have lived in Japan...Columbia...and Ecuador ... but nothing comes close to Costa Rica. Thanks again brother.

Have you tried not repeating the excuses for these geopolitical actions? It's always "yes I agree that Assad or whoever is bad but..." At that point you're still agreeing to a war.
Don't blame average Americans, we just want to get along in peace and prosperity with everyone else. The Globalist Elites who control the foreign policy of both Major Parties are the war mongers, not the American people. Trump kept the Elites under some semblance of control, it's the main reason they HATE him and are using all their tools to prevent his reelection. Trump has a BIG MOUTH, but he kept America out of overseas wars and struck good trade agreements with China, Japan, Mexico and many other nations.
US has been at this for quite some time. It's not just the past few decades. The CIA has been the biggest threat to global democracy since the 50s.
More and more people might face a tough time in retirement. Low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents make it hard to save. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire.
The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

For boomers and senior citizens, the current market and economy are unnecessarily harder. I'm used to simply purchasing and holding assets, which doesn't seem applicable to the current volatile market, and inflation is catching up with my portfolio. My biggest concern is whether I'll survive after retirement.
Just buy and invest in Gold or other reliable stock , the government has failed us and we cant keep living like this.

As a millennial I think about leaving the USA every day. I also accept that there are tradeoffs in doing so, but the US is turning into an unlivable place for many reasons, even if you have money.

I left the US in 2018.....my rent had been 75% of my social security each month..... now it's less than 18%...... now I can relax and enjoy my retirement 😊😊😊 which includes walking to the beach each day, hanging out at a beach restaurant sipping a cup of coffee 😊😊

i am 45 and already decided that I want to retire in Cambodia. I have decided that I wont waste my time marrying an American girl as she will likely get in the way of my goal. I have been focusing on finding a Cambodian wife and working as a TEFL teacher until I can open a chain of Cafes in Cambodia. I love living in Cambodian villages where there are no other Americans in sight. I left the USA as I hate the government and prefer not to see other Americans or western people around me. Now I either hang out with Chinese,Vietnamese , Cambodian or other Asian people.
I am a retired vet and I reside overseas. Here are my reason,Healthcare, safety, politics, money. Our politicians still have a cold war mentality. Our politicians only look for war and if they can't find it they initiate it.good example we complain about Mexico. Our government didn't help Mexico so now china help built Mexico infrastructure a win-win . China companies built in Mexico and bring goods into America. This what happen when we don't support our southern neighbors. Now the politicians are crying that China is taken care south America country.

3 glaring FACTS. 1, European healthcare is not better, and when tax on salary/goods is taken into account, along with waiting lists, it is actually more expensive. 2, BlackRock are the investors in Chinese companies that reside in Mexico, and a great example is their recent billion dollars investments into the Chinese EV industry building in Mexico. 3, European politics are oppressive, and subtle in their stealth.

Left the US for Switzerland in 2000 and honestly, it was the best decision for me, the kids and quality of life.
But I think Switzerland is a bit too nice to high income foreigners. I know many native Swiss people who have fallen through the cracks. EEA membership and low tax rates may work for the bourgoisie, but it is a bit of leach on the rest of the world and it has led to a surprisingly inequitable country (even if it is not by US standards). The EU needs to crack down on Switzerland as the UK does on offshore tax havens (including its own City of London).

I'm Gen X, and I've been trying to move abroad for decades. I finally decided that I'll have to wait until retirement to do so (Another ten years) since I'm neither a nurse, engineer, nor independently wealthy. Same deal for several friends. Between the crumbling infrastructure, poisoned water, crap education, ugly architecture, and toxic culture, there's little for any of us here anymore.
My sentiments, the architect is very boring.

Live in Toronto and a friend of mine is planning on moving back to IRAN! That’s how bad it’s become here.
The future for Iran is looking much better now as it partners with Russia and China. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Iranians moving back to take advantage of good opportunities, like Chinese are moving back to China.

Other parts of the country are not only safe but pleasant as long as you accept that most of it has a continental climate (like the Russian Federation) but have socialized medicine inter alia. I live in Victoria BC and would live few other places most of the year. However, Canada is not immune to nutcase ideas on socio-economic issues as we share history and a long border with the US - the source of most of these metaphysical flights of fancy. If you are a world citizen it matters little where you live but the US and the UK are not recommended as permanent residences unless you are ultra wealthy (greater than 20 million US dollars) and have strong family commitments in North America or age-related infirmities.

Things are strange right now. The US dollar is becoming less valuable because of inflation, and other powerful nations waking up to trade in their own currencies. Good thing is, a lot of people still turn to the Dollar because of the safety is somehow assures. I'm worried about my re tirement savings of about $ 420,000 losing value because of these factors and more. Where else can we keep our money?

The Mar ket is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the Mar ket, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good pro fit, If you are not too savvy with the mark ket, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds.

My portfolio for the past 6 years has always been wisely managed and I own 3 shares of Berkshire Hathaway Class A stock (BRK:A) which I bought in at about $17,000 last two years , I have currently made over 45% returns on it, i recently incoporate new Gen. Stocks, but am I better off re-investing into Gold as it seems stocks are a little too unstable right now,

I moved to the US from Hong Kong for a better life when I was 19 years old, but 50 years later I moved out from the US for a better life in the Philippines with no regrets, very affordable enjoying my wonderful family life here.

This, and that the 2 parties do not really reflect what most people value, but we are seemingly stuck with them. Taken to extremes, which happens when either one of the 2 parties have any bit of power, they both lead to moralistic tyrannies, either the Woke Leftists with their dogma, or the religious evangelicalism associated with the Right. Better would be something closer to libertarian and classical liberal ideals which actually promote freedom instead, but we are stuck with Dems and Reps, and special interests who are actually running the show. Also less interests that favor and interfere with other countries and instead invest locally would be better. I know most Americans do not feel like they are represented by their representatives. Politics, politicians, and government are ruining the US now.

These countries have better law and order, better healthcare conditions, a good birth ratio, and an overall pleasant living environment. Language will not be an issue because English is spoken as a 2nd language in all metropolitan cities of these countries.
Countries with most outward migration in the west will be 1) the UK, 2) France, 3) Germany, 4) Canada and 5) the US.

I ended up in this situation due to a non renewal on my lease because my roommate and I fell behind on rent once, and then twice because they kept rent hiking. I was in this situation once before for two long years trying to get into said apartment that was later lost. No matter what i do, or how hard i work, there is no stability. Just about everyone I know is struggling severely, in there own ways living on the edge of ending up out here with me. I cant shake the feeling that this is going to be a cycle. I would leave the US in a heartbeat if I could afford to, and i think im going to seriously consider just staying in my situation, saving money and leaving the country. Its very time consuming to get a passport ive learned, up to two years.

European here. I travelled in Malaysia as a woman with my 2 adult daughters for 2 months. No man. Never a problem, never been bothered. Not once. We loved Malaysia. I love Istanbul too but Malaysia was really chill and safe. Totally true that nobody looks at you, they leave you alone. That said, we did our homework and tried to respect the culture. Which, btw, is worth knowing. We already left our country and are considering moving further away.
Its a lovely country to visit and travel but as a citizen. The chinese and indians are racially discriminated, different prespectives - my children would have suffered because i was a malaysian of chinese heritage. Could not enter medical school even with having met entrance requirements due to quota system for non muslims. Got passed up for promotion even though i have a degree and relevant experience. Guy who got the position have no degree (applied chemistry in carbons, as it was a oil company, was the bare minimum pre requisite). My wife was Malaysian and was discriminated because she didnt speak Malay as she grew up in singapore. I was forced to translate for her to get her passport renewed even though those serving us at the counter spoke English. I am now in Australia, not perfect but my children who are now adults have better opportunities and their degrees are recognized in most countries, enabling international mobility. I am not pouring cold water but there's a lot more to what we see superficially. I was a PR in Singapore and worked for over 12 years. I left because at 18 years old my childreb would be forced to elect to be either a citizen or leave the country (sort of). They dont allow second generations to continue being a PR to prevent exploitation of opportunities without having to commit and invest in the country's future.
It's okay they don't care about any problems in your country they're just living the rich life
I traveled to Malaysia for a month and loved it. I went by bus to Singapore from KL too. It was a great trip! I would move there if I could.

Furthermore, Russians are fine with foreigners, the culture is accepting of other peoples by its core foundations. However due to recent increased crime activity by some migrants from Central Asia, these are much less welcome. The rest are fine. Most you'll get a few stares if you speak English and that's it, nearby people would give you a quick glance and then be back to their business.

I have loved America since I was a teenager and I came at age 19 from England. I always believed the spin that the US was the greatest country, that they were always helping other nations get freedom and democracy. It was all a lie. The list of wars, invasions, regime changes, occupations is staggering. The evil democrat party woke me up and now I find I can't live here anymore. A broken heart is not easy to cope with. I know my home country is just as bad, they follow along regardless. It is better to look for a more tolerant and peaceful country to spend the rest of my life in. I would live in Russia but not sure I can learn the language at this point. I am in my early 70's. The cost of living here is way over the heads of ordinary people and seniors are forgotten completely. Illegals are given more money to live on than the average retiree. What a sad decline.

But it’s better to ask those foreigners who already live here. Here on CZcams, type something like Canadians or Americans or Australians in Russia. You will get a lot of information from them.
Would suggest learning enough of the language to achieve daily tasks. Duolingo app is free, there was/is a free RT course and someone's website with answers to RT course questions. Then could visit for a month or so to see if it meets expectations.

Malaysia is a super nice place with down to earth people. It is the politicians who are riding on the religion of Islam and making a certain percentage of the population radicalized. We even have a term for these religion riders: "penunggang agama" 😂. As long as you are polite to everyone and ask nicely, your errands will run smoothly. As a Christian evangelist, though, I have to exercise caution whenever share the Gospel of Jesus to my Malay friends, because it is illegal under the law to proselytize to Muslims. A pastor (Raymond Koh) has been abducted by the deep state for publicly preaching the Christian Gospel to Malays. But if you're just here for business and not Gospel, then no problems at all.

I do not give loyalty or fight and die for a country simply because I was born there and everyone around me thinks it is the best country. I will defend a country that treats me best and will provide me a better life. I may have been born a US citizen but China, Vietnam, Brazil, and Cambodia have done more for me in 5 years than the USA has done in 40.

It's honestly odd to hear Malaysia spoken in such glowing terms because Malaysians are often very down/negative about the country's prospects and value etc. But having lived abroad a few years, I have to say we take a lot of things for granted. I don't anymore.
Well, probably bc Malaysia is not so affordable for Malasians and only so for outsiders with stronger currencies.
As a b40 who is full time housewife, yes we Malaysian earned less but we also have great products and services produced locally at lower prices.. My family live comfortably in KL with small income. But peoples keep looking at the negatives side such as focusing on low currency while forget that we still able to enjoy many things in low cost using our ringgit compare to many countries around us.

Sell everything, if you have around 500,000 USD, you can go to my country Indonesia. you can have around 8,000,000,000 IDR. Picture this, if you put all of that on govt bond, you can get around 6% per year or around 40 mil IDR per month. that pretty much middle manager salary here for not doing anything.

Another great video! Henderson was spot on talking about the friction points. A person has to pay attention to these kinds of things. We have been retired in southern France for 6 years now. My French is poor, but my wife is fluent and spends a great deal of time extending herself to the locals. Me not so much, but I grow a lot of food in my big garden and I give food away to neighbors and friends. That makes friends. We have wonderful healthcare and our food costs are dirt cheap. We go to 1-3 markets a week and have a dozen castles within 100 kilometers. Plus the highways are smaller, cars are smaller and there is not the gun culture of the US.

That's odd that you mentioned the 2nd Amendment in a bad light. I'm Malaysian and the only things I found aren't problems in the US while visiting the US for three months are the Constitutional priviledges of Americans (which aren't actually priviledges but unalienable rights not granted by government). To my chagrin, I found that most if not all of US problems, stems from the US NOT following its Constitution. In other words, I'm disappointed in the hypocrisy of US politicians and lawmakers who do not understand nor follow the US Constitution.
The reason why people wanted to move to the US is its unique constitution, but since that is no longer followed and that the US is in rapid decline, it's now better to move out.
