Student loan forgiveness should not be lumped into the same category as spending billions of dollars on war. Frankly, if the same amount of money were allocated to student loans in this country, then the student debt wouldn’t still exist. Printing money for war is ultimately an expense (in more ways than one). Printing money to remove a debt burden for education that should have never been placed upon us to begin with, is a long term investment in society. That education, just like every other institution in this country has been allowed to become a racket that only benefits the few and leaves the people holding the bag only shows how the naivety of the 1% will ultimately destroy us all.
