This video was helpful, as I was thinking of buying the 43" version for gaming and as a pc monitor. Do you think that high end gaming laptops and desktops that using modern Nvidia cards will have issues being that it freesync focused and not Gsync focused?

How do you display input of whatever content you’re watching?. Like if I’m watching a Netflix movie with Dolby vision on, how do I show it on tv?

No, Dolby Vision uses meta data from the source that encoded. You a higher quality signal like a sports streaming app

I have this TV and it has light vertical lines. I think it's the backlight. The image quality is great, but I see these lines and I don't like it😢. you can see it at the very beginning of the video.
I have this tv un 65 inch. I was an upgrade from the UHD a7H series. huge upgrade if you are a gamer. Also you can tell the difference on 4k Netflix content. Can confirm the sound is the best I have heard from a tv. Of course a proper sound bar is hard to top but the volume and bass is great on the tv
Hi Steve, thanks for the excellent review. I actually bought the TV to try. Unsure if I got a lemon unit but the Dolby Vision appears to have a yellow dimmed hazy overlay with blunted colors. Any suggestions?

I cant get vrr working on my u78km , its locked at 120 and vrr off. It worked fine on the sony x90k so i dont believe its my ps5 settings. Do you know how to turn it on?

How do you get the HDR picture shown on the gaming menu? It just says no for me

What’s the input lag feels like for gaming? For example when playing at 120hz at 19 Ms is it completely noticeable that there is input lag?

Makes zero sense...lag goes up with the FPS!? I've seen a more technically regarded reviewer measure the 120fps at 5.5ms!

Question:
What does VRR in combination with Game mode do for games in relation to screen flickering ?
I own the 55U72KQ model ( which is the european version of the U7K correct ? ).
Love it BUT VRR on and no issues.
VRR and Game mode ON and bam flickering screen issues.
Read a lot about VRR and flickeing issues but not combined with Game Mode on so am confused lol..
I do have noticed that the FPS meter ( in game menu on TV ) shows the Hertz going up or down when VRR is enabled BUT..its unstable.
Meaning.
Its not in sync with actual INGAME fps. Ingame its 74.
FPS Meter goes up and down in between 92-low 50s.
My old TV also has VRR but that one is stable.
FPS ingame and TV- Hertz are in sync.
Could it be my Hisense TV has hardware problem causing my issues ?

I NEED HELP!!! I just bought HiSense U7K for my PS5 because my U7H Cracked, when i go to the home screen of the TV, it looks good, but when i turn HDR on, it looks terrible, text is gray instead of white and everything looks dull. someone help please!!!

@@TechSteve wow i wasn’t expecting a response so quick, anyways i ended up buying a different TV because i believe i got a bad panel. i loved my old hisense but the U7K wasn’t calibrating good enough. thank you though!

I have a 55", sitting straight towards the TV, I can see both sides of the TV has color blending making a football field from green to yellowish. Reposition my seats, the yellowish area will shift towards one side. IMO there is no perfect sitting position as there will be imperfect color/brightness, no matter where you seat.
The downfall of VA the colors shift too much. I bought the 75 and 55 and am returning the 55 because the colors washout too much when watching from the ends of our couch. THe 75 doesnt seem to have the same issues, ive heard its an IPS panel in the 75.
This TV is horrendous it is like night and day compared to all these reviews I am wondering if my panel is faulty. I didn't even know what banding was until I got this TV. The flickering on moving objects is horrendous too I don't even know what it's called.
I'm getting the same thing on mine. I thought I was going crazy. I've been trying to find a way to fix it
@@xRombie hisense finally accepted it was faulty after I got some other stuff on camera. They just said it was all "normal" such a relief to get a refund.
But I wonder why everyone else seems to love theirs. Other than that one problem, I have no issues at all so far. I'm gonna try to reset it and maybe find some other ways to fix it
@@xRombie yeah I have no idea absolutely baffling. Worst tv set I've ever played video games on. The issues I had with video gaming on it they said were "normal" it was only due to other faults showing I could return it.
