A revolution for its LA grittiness that will stand out in a mix regardless of the patch, the vector stick (don't say joystick, say: watch your vector, Victor), onboard effects, very little aliasing, the eerie marriage between familiar acoustic plucks and fancy decaying synthesis, depending on its utilization, the same patch could go from futuristic and cool to cheesy antics when put in a different context. That black brushed metal cover is just asking for a lingering index finger. You have a great ear for styles that showcase the patches' qualities, and a lil' icing with an 80's sensibility is never a bad thing.
Excellent synth! I have one and his 2 other friends (dx7, korg M1). It's an excellent synthesizer that we never tire of! I upgraded it with a Musitronics M.ex expansion card. Cool synth!!! 😉
