The film crew of this series really does not get enough credit. Simply stunning.
They are really unparalleled, especially in wildlife photography.
The making-of featurettes are great to learn about how committed, extreme, and diverse the experiences are for capturing even seemingly mundane shots.
David attenborough
James-Absolutely!
@Dana William point taken
People catch this type of stuff with their cell phones or small cameras.
thats crazy how long the eagle fell with its prey trying to gain control
Excellent recovery, however.
I wish the camera didn't cut away right there, that was the best part of the video
Those cranes are heavy
Kudos to the cameraman. Nature is awesome.
an awesome bitch
For some reason during the chase scene, I just imagine that it's like Top Gun and the young crane is just saying things like "He's right on my tail" and "I can't shake him!" before getting struck down by the enemy fighters (eagles).
EDIT: Big up the cameramen for capturing such amazing footage.
You know what's nice about nature? From the observer's POV there's never a good or bad guy.
Smol Snek Unless you're on the CZcams comments where all the little kids yell animal abuse for not saving the prey 😂
True, they never realise a predator's gotta eat too 😂
Hyenas are the bad females.
Theres nothing nice about this video...
@@TimTheMusicMan yeah, there's nothing nice in this video. I would rather watch a video about moss eating a stone since there's no living things being harmed just for entertainment sake
Reminds me of the scene in "Avatar"
"We're not the only thing flying out there and we're not the biggest, either"
It's amazing how the golden eagles can seperate one from the flock and then kill it off. And that drop... WAS AMAZING!
If only that crane learned Kung Fu.
It was only a juvenile. It didn't have enough time to master the art of Kung Fu.
Only the fat panda can master Kung Fu in a short time. 🌚
It only knows how to FLY FU
@@KittySYT so, we also have thin panda now?
RVs : Yes, there are skinny ones too, deprived of food. 🌚
Sad lumpy, there's no David Attenborough-like narrator we have in this world. Please God, bless him with 100 more years of life! 😊
Oh my, how tragic and powerful and awe-inspiring. And bravo to the cameraman
David Attenborough's voice is a therapy.
Edit - Its SIR David Attenborough
THE VERY BEST.....in all the World.......Sir David really IS a knight in shining armor....
I always appreciate the good scoring by the BBC.
Himalayas are a treat to visit, the terrain , the weather and the nature in its raw / true form
And just like that, my two absolute favorite moments from the series are on YT. Much appreciated, BBC Earth staff!
golden eagles are a living piece of art
That's where air to air combat tactics and techniques come from. Golden eagles, peregrine falcons and goshawks are the best teachers in air to air combat
One of the most emotional scenes I have ever watched. Poor young crane! 😥
The soundtrack gives these wildlife videos another dimension ! Great cinematography 👏
Absolute amazing. Excellent filming. Thank you for such a wonderful series.
great intelligence of the birds, good shooting and great narration
WOW! Talk about that cameraman being in the right place at the right time! Well done!!
Nice team work! This is like xavi and iniesta bossing the midfield!
These are the same birds, the death of which inspired a distraught Valmiki to utter: 'Maa nishada...'
Cranes:*Passing by*
Eagles:" Hi we are freedom! And we are here to free you from life. PREPARE TO BE LIBERATED!"
funny joke but wrong Eagle my dude
Now that's an aerial dogfight
How did you guys filmed that?!? I'm impressed
Ever hear of a camera? They didn't film it with a potato you know.
lol xD
Some drones can fly as high as 6 km. All you need is a permit to fly them there.
Yep, Drones are cheap especially the Chinese made ones.
Guy sitting on a mountain with a big ass lens. But still 420 times smaller than your mama!
I think this video is a great shooting you won't get every day. Thanks for sharing!
Incredible videography. Simply exquisite!
OMG first time I saw such aerial attack on beautiful bird flock
the legend says they are still falling
In love
I love how the golden eagles were looking out for each other when the gold eagle was trying to take control of the crane the other one was making sure it would be okay
It was probably a mated pair.
Wow! Nature you are awesome!! And camera Team, please more of this wonderfull filming!!
Not just capturing the image, but the sound as well.
Kung fu panda 4 Master Crane vs the golden eagle 😂
well the crane lost so the villian wins
The eagles definitely are deadly predators.
Uma cena de ataque da águia dourada incrível, rápida e fatal
One eagle to another: attacking, cover me!
awesomely captured!
This is one of my favourite scenes from this series
They are magnificent utterly magnificent
these cranes are remarkably beautiful!
unbelievable photography!! Hats off...
majestic yet deadly
This is great Himalayan national park INDIA Kashmir valley
I bet fighter pilots can relate to this.
Coming from the horrendous American narration of the NatGeo channel to this is truly a breath of fresh air.
Amazing stuff ! Thank you :)
0.6 When you hear the Golden Voice of David Attenborough.
Run 🏃♂️💨💨💨💨💨
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BEAUTIFUL VIDEOS.
*Oh man Earth and Nature are beautiful and majestic!*
I love Steve's laugh in the outro
I want to see how the eagle recovers the altitude after catching the crane, that is the most important part.
she had SO MUCH empty space below her to do it....I am sure it was just a case of getting a good hold on it....after breaking it's neck, then, finding a good rising thermal close by to climb......They can actually see the thermals...........To kill it, in mid air..... was the most important thing to the eagle........ The difficult struggle with big flapping wings of the crane, was the first thing to stop....and stop it , she did, and very fast...Amazing power and intelligence...I am sure this method of crane hunting was something that she and her mate had been practicing and perfecting, for many years.......A crane is a big bird, that could feed both eagles for a couple days....
imagine having a Golden Eagle as your sidekick, they can literally pick up a human being of their feet!
A 25 lb toddler, sure.
@A.A.Ron Davis so you reply to me who states a 25 lbs toddler but not the guy who simply says a human being. I know that video is fake, but not the ones of golden eagles pulling 50lb goats off the side of cliffs. I didnt say it could fly off with the child, only meant they could make them leave the ground.
@@Phil8sheo they can, theyve been known to take children away,so do Bald eagles
@@shelbyrice3860 I said in my comment that they can pick up a toddler. I specified toddler because the OP stated only human being. I guess I must say that I am aware toddlers are human beings, lol.
@@Phil8sheo yes,i was just trying to agree
riprese eccezionali!!! fantastiche
claudio
Amazing camera work to catch this moment!
Poor stork has absolutely no defense against eagles. Surprisingly they do not work together to defend each other.
What a beautiful aerial hunt
what a great Dogfight.
but....but there weren't any dogs :^(
Kassa 😭😭😭😵😵😵.
not dogfight... for there is no fighting back. :-(
Such amazing footage. God's creation is breath-taking. You can even see signs of the world wide flood as the Eagle holds its prize.
@Jacob Masten you miss the all important factor, God.
Wow - such a high level of esoteric thought. Come on dude. Obviously I think you've been brainwashed in your lame education. You think I'm brainwashed in my spiritual belief. Do some research, not only on the young earth theory where you'll find compelling scientific argument from top scientists, maybe go see Noah's ark in Kentucky where it - in a life size model - shows an easily plausible way the ark and life in it could have performed their Biblical purpose, and finally research how to respectfully put yourself in another person's shoes so you may begin to have understanding why intelligent people actually think other ways than you do.
@Jacob Masten So you haven't looked at all the sites. If you're happy feeling elite more power to you.
@Jacob Masten the flood explains why canyons worldwide have signs of forming quickly, and modern items under old layers... And why again worldwide there are oceanic fossils and shells in the middle of plains, deserts, mountaintops. You can ignore the obvious if you want to, but you may just find some freedom realizing there are politically motivated reasons your educators wanted you to believe what you now do.
@Jacob Masten like I said, more power to you. You might find your crisp reason begin to change as you grow and see more of life.
☀️
OMG…💛💛💛
Thank you for the amazing shots our beautiful land and all its inhabitants
Please TAKE CARE OUR NATURE …
They're looks like such majestic aeroplanes from II war, so beautiful eagles
Amazing footage
0:29 Just appreciate that shape
a true history. thanks .......sony bbc earth
The "One" who control the wing beats of this 🦅 great job BBC
Also, why is the whole soundtrack for this scene not available on iTunes?
Need to do a video on human predators in cities where they lay in wait for unsuspecting victims traversing the inner city wilderness.
That was epic 😵
Amazing filming,
this is so great.
Some grade A dog fighting right there.
Erik Holgersson , yes I wonder what a fighter pilot thoughts are on this.
Frasier has left the building!
I wish the camera could zoom in closer on the eagle and crane tumbling from the sky
The crane would have been alive if he had a gun
What if the eagle had an IL-2?
Oh here we go, two gun fanatics! Any opportunity to talk about how small your wee-wee is . . . . . .
Majestic!
so sad. but hey the baby eagle has to eat to live.
Then both fell down without opening parachute
Thrilling video and veiw
Man, the last scenery was so beautiful!! location?
Himalayas mountain Range
Himalayan India
@@arabianwolf7950 Himalayas are not only in India, it stretches from Nepal to China,Bhutan, India and Pakistan.

The crane style vs the eagle claws
great video and thanks for sharing
... I wanted to See it closer
Amazing 👍👍
Very Nice Clicp. Love this
Crane is so beautiful
Shows the importance of flying with a wingman. Pay attention Maverick, you might learn something.
awesome footage thumbs up !! * notice the Goldens wingman never leaves his side ?
Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. (19)
amazing
Breaks my heart
Someone says they want to see if the crane gets eaten by the eagle. What do they think that the eagles went crane hunting for? To get something satisfying to eat for the whole family
I love golden eagles!
Amazing video catch
This was the Max Zoom of this Professional Camera think how Far they were!!
Amazing
Beautiful video
Que lindo video los humanos debemos cuidar la creación de Dios Felicitaciones
hey...damn dinosaurs...still eating each other...thank...love...
Well , Crane style vs. Eagle Claw style . I guess Eagle Claw won !
