- This woman matters. All those who have gone forward onto Benny Hinn's stage, been paraded around and abused, in the name of Christ, matter. Benny Hinn should confess to what he has done and repent.

I was healed of epilepsy during intense prayer by myself on my kitchen floor. After 5 years of siezures, medicine, & brain scans that prove I had it, God healed me. My Husband & I have had other issues that we've asked for healing from & the answer was no. I don't know why God healed the epilepsy but He did. I was having a very sorrowful prayer in which I was repenting for the selfishness, bitterness & anger I was holding onto. I begged God to remove the epilepsy so that I could go to work & my Husband would not have to bear the brunt of our finances. (Our kids are grown.) He healed me. I am so grateful. You don't need a special performance by someone "annointed."

Jesus doesn't need to use people, but sometimes he does use people in the laying of hands. And it's never theatrical
@pwx13 Yes, God's people praying for healing & the laying on of hands is great but it is not essential. I'm not sure what you intended to say because you state that we don't just need Jesus, which is not true. You accurately state that God uses people through the laying on of hands "from time to time." But people should understand that they don't have to go through any person to get to God. That said, the Bible is clear that we are not to forsake gathering together; that we are made for relationships with each other including different roles within the church.
Anyway, I think we'd actually agree but the way your comment started made it sound like Jesus alone was not sufficient so if that's your message, I disagree.

His actions are despicable. This is a conman, and he should be investigated for fraud. Family members who lost loved ones because treatment was stopped due to him must hold him criminally liable.
I have to assume he’s protected by whatever “religious” rights it is that protects the cults of Scientology and the FLDS. Lots of money to hire expensive lawyers, lots of claiming religious exemptions, lots of 1st Amendment claims that make it difficult for the govt to get involved, and lots of authorities turning a blind eye for money. It’s so gross.

I would agree that the ones you mentioned are cults but people have the freedom and right to join whatever they want. Do you want the government telling you what you can believe and belong to? That's a slippery slope back to what the Founders fled England for. Agree or disagree as long as people have their freewill and it's not breaking a law they can do what they want. The only guy (religion based) on TV that I can think of that is honest and scriptural is Les Feldick, and he is still on some stations even though he has passed away. He is very good and worth watching, but he does Bible study, and was a rancher, not a preacher.

My sister died shortly after Benny Hinn's healing crusade did nothing for her but not before he made money fly. Then, he flew back to his mansion in his private jet. He didn't come to her funeral or send a card.

After my own cancer I joined a few support groups. I wish I could recount the number of times people talked about their holistic remedies only to be on a couple months later talking about their stage 4. God gave us medical technology for a reason.
There are holistic cancer treatments that cure cancer. Look up Dr. Burzynski, Gerson Therapy, or Dr. Johanna Budwig. And there are many more.

She’s 40. Never drank alcohol, no drugs, nothing. She’s a Godly Lady.
She’s riddled with cancer in every organ….. it’s heartbreaking.
The ONLY thing that keeps our whole family from totally collapsing is our Faith.
The Faith and knowledge that we WILL see her again.
Yes, we cry, we’re only human and we will miss her so very much but she will be so happy, being in paradise with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I do worry about her pain.

I'm trying to remember a testimony I read a while ago. I can't remember what happened specifically, but God was telling the person He understands pain. It's maddening the way no interviewer will play clips like this when they talk to Benny. He never has to address the specifics, just gives that old "nobody's perfect" defense. Yeah Benny, that's some real repentance. 😡
Worst Hinn clip I've ever seen was an older guy dying of brain cancer I believe and he drove all the way out to the "show" and waited entire service to be prayed for just for Benny to stop and say "actually i feel the Lord moving in another direction" and walks away leaving the dude standing there as he just starts preaching. Never prayed for the guy (not that it would matter) but the level of disrespect is ridiculous.

I am a survivor of stage 4 head and neck and cancer is no joke! Glory be to God! One of the most heartbreaking things in my life was my aunt died from breast cancer and family went through her belongings and household items and found books written by Hinn her check book ledgers show she was sending Hinn money for healing!

I had this done to me, just having coffee in a new church after the service when the pastor found out I was in extreme pain. He prayed for me then asked me what I couldn't do before, I said walk up stairs, so he told me to walk up and down the stairs by faith. I walked a few steps and said it was still sore, so He prayed again and said I must try again after the 5th time of being forced to do the one thing that caused me agony, I knew the only way to get away was to say it's fine now, Im not in pain. They claimed a miracle, I was in bed for 3 weeks afterwards. I feel awful for lying but the pain gets so bad I feel like I could pass out.
Reminds me of the horrible new age technique- EFT. They tap you and tap you then ask how is it now and repeat and repeat on and on until you just say you are fully healed to make it all stop.
Again, radio silence from his proteges David Diga Hernandez and Vlad Savchuck. They stand by this. This is not okay. I think we should not only call out Benny Hinn but all christian pastors that sign off this.

You don't understand what it is...I've experienced falling back in the presence of the spirit. it's real. If the person has to actually touch you, it may be a shove. But the person only held up their hand and never actually touched me.

I think this is from the healing conference at Andrew Wommack Ministries. At least it looks like their stage. I watched it. There's a whole section to the left full of people with wheelchairs. Benny Hinn conveniently ignored them all.

I had to accept that when I was wondering what to do about my older sister and younger brother; just let them go. They are both living the homosexual lifestyle and are loud and proud in my face and my children's faces (inappropriate conversations about their lives and speaking certain things over my children, bringing their partners around, dressing in drag, etc.) Regardless of what I've said or how much I've prayed for them, they do not care.
At one point, it really got to me that my children and I don't really have a relationship with them. Recently, I had to accept that they have made their decision and it is what it is. I still love them and don't wish anything but that they return to The Truth (we were brought up in church). Besides, we can't do the saving. That's up to God and that person's willingness/openness. I just love them and pray from afar. I've done all I could do.

The family was hoping for a miracle, but the healing didn’t work, this upset the parents so much that they stopped believing in God .

About 26 years ago, I attended a healing ministry at my church and went up for prayer. As the pastor prayed over me, she layed hands on me and began to prophecy over me. I fell back but didn't even realize that I went down. All I felt was like a slight breath as I closed my eyes and raised my hands in surrender to God. Next thing I knew, I was on the floor and I felt the prayer ministers remove their hands from under me but I did not feel myself going down. That pastor prophesied that I would bear a child. About 6 months later I was pregnant with my daughter.
I am not a follower of Benny Hinn nor have I ever attended one of his healing services. But I say all this because it does not look like he is SHOVING her back. It looks like she is coming under the power of the Holy Spirit as he touches her, which is what happened to me. I think we need to be honest about our observations before we label something chicanery. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active and God uses imperfect and flawed people to carry out his puposes...from the legalistic religious to the loud and flamboyant, to everyone in between. May God richly bless you with discernment and grace as you continue to minister. ❤

I was 10 years old when I got up early to watch Benny hinn on tv before my parents got up I did not grow up in a Christian household. I believe that watching miracles was a seed for my salvation when I was 20 years old as my life was not looking good at the time. I accepted Jesus as lord and saviour. No need to judge Benny he always claimed healing in the name of Jesus which is what I always remembered. We will never truely know the impact Benny has had on others leading people to Christ. Support our Christian tv evangelists because their mission is essentially to reach out to the unsaved in the name of Jesus (taste and see). As Christians let’s focus on the people in our own lives that need to know Jesus and the good new of the gospel. God can use any Christian to heal others try it you might be surprised what God does, became He can.

You're not seeing the people who are turning away from Christ because they watched their parents, grandma go into poverty donating money to his ministry or ministries like this, as they tell poor people they're sinning by not tithing, that they're robbing God, whilst going around like the top 1% of the nation, not even halving they're wealth will put them in middle class. you're not the family of people that went to his crusades, got told they were healed and they weren't. Why aren't you thinking about those people? Even majority of the people that keep going to him aren't being led to Christ, they want signs and wonders, like the crowd that will turn away pretty quickly when Jesus tells them to count the cost of following him.
I see testimonies of being brought to Christ as a baby Christian by Benny Hinn, but then looking for stronger more knowledgeable teachers as they grew, that's nice. But someone still listening to him after decades... It's worrying.

No one should be going into debt or losing their house because they gave too much to Benny Hinn. Honestly, he doesn't tell them that. While I don't agree with his methods of fundraising, he is not the only one to do this. Let's also take a look at what the NT teaches about tithing. It actually doesn't teach the Gentile Believers to tithe. That realization would almost be considered blasphemy to the current Western church as a whole. My point is, one can be aware of the anointing and presence of God that a minister operates in, and still disagree with something he says. We're all accountable to God to know our Bible. Not follow a minister and lose our house.
Many, many people have been healed at his meetings. The enemy is a bully. He will tell someone they were not healed, all they have to do is accept it. Healing or lack thereof can have many factors involved. Let's rejoice for those who have been healed and continue to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling.
