- Opening night of my July 2018 run at 54 Below. Great crowd, so much energy! Thank you so much for making these gigs so much fun. The wonderful photographer Kevn Alvey came to take photos and video. The beginning was not on video but he shot most of the song.

Not really. Just the pianist, who has an annoying smile on his face the entire time whole he plays. That's not normal. I could barely look at him when I saw him in concert with her.
The description should read... "Great Crowd, so much energy" I don't know why you can't edit CZcams. Ehhhh!

My friends and I were there … it's always an experience listening to that voice "live & in-person" (as they used to say)! It was worth the trip to NYC to say the least! #luckylindafan
Linda has appeared at this intimate venue named “54 Below” five or six times. Tickets are expensive, but considering that dinner is included, not bad. They let you shoot videos without flash, so there are quite a few here, including some by me of varying quality.
After one performance she just pulled up a chair next to the bar and welcomed all comers. A free Meet and Greet. Really big fans might want to make the trip while she is still performing here, as the COVID pandemic was hard on this beloved cabaret in the theater district.
To my surprise, she is going to do four shows in May, 2024. These may have been shoehorned into the schedule, since she begins on Thursday, May 16 and then performs Thursday, Sunday and Thursday again.
I have said for decades that this role should never be played by someone who cannot belt this song, no matter how funny the actress might be. The show is not done justice unless you can feel the hair on your arms rise like they do with this recording. Incredible, as always.
Fairly recently discovered this amazing singer. Missing out here in Australia. Would love to see her over here.
Keryn Simpson I was in Sydney years ago. Found a Linda CD in a used bin at a music store. Bought it even though I already had it 🤗 Gave it away as a gift.

Sounds just like the new CD recording. Which by the way, is SOOOOO EXCELLENT!
this video maybe had bad audio quality or didn't sync up well since there are multiple angles, so she put the cd audio over the video to make it more like a professional music video/promotional thingy, but she did sing it live and just as spectacularly at the actual place, I promise. If you don't believe me XD you can tell she isn't lip synching because the orchestra is obviously playing live otherwise there would be no reason to hire them, and sometimes their fingerings arent with the music, so she definitely just put the audio over the video in an editor after it was recorded. Also, if she had been lip-synching, I'm sure she would have done a better job than this since her mouth doesn't sync up with the words at times either XD
Of course it's the recording put over the visual. They slow down the visual to match it.

It might be nice if you just ONCE mention the musicians playing with her. She'd be nothing without the collaborators. Music is a joint effort.
I have seen her in concert MANY times since the beginning of her career. She ALWAYS ackowledges her musicians. ALWAYS.
