As I’ve been on my own journey towards healing and self growth I’ve been doing a lot more shadow work, trying to gain a deeper sense of self awareness and I’m realizing that I just don’t want any more trauma bonds. I don’t want any more connections that appeal to the damaged parts of me. I just want to be whole and happy, and I want that to be undeniable in every aspect of my life.

I love your advice on building a sister circle! To add to that, I’ll say I was praying for this for years and didn’t understand why I wasn’t attracting better people in my life. Then when I started therapy and my growth journey I changed the prayer to God please work on my heart and prepare me to be a good friend so when you send these people I’m ready. That changed everything

I swear dating and meeting real nice genuine women to be your friends is hard 😢...I have given up on both I'm tired and done. Guy's are weird I know I'm a beautiful woman but because I'm plus size and not ideal of ratchet I can't get love unless I'm taking care of them money wise. Like I'm a super nice person so if you tell me I need help I'm going to help you out and not look for anything in return but niceness. Then trying to build your circle for friends is just as hard. I thought I was becoming friends with a coworker but this lady is rude, mean and backstabbing. Like I forgive her the first time but I don't think I will anymore that's a done deal. I guess Junior High never gets old. So I'm just going to stay to myself and not talk to anyone which is messed up but I'm tired of feeling/looking dumb.

It looks terrible in a man (always saying he's handsome, have muscles and is good in bed) and it is equally unattractive in women. So many are jumping on this bandwagon and it is very dangerous!! The Bible says if you do not have humility God will humble you!!! It is one thing to be confident but today people are outright vain, arrogant, self absorbed etc.... not attractive at all!!!
