I fully agree with you. The first one was an example of resilience, or something like that. But the second got a lot on the emotional part. I almost cried at the end of the movie too. It's a beautiful movie, very well done and really worth watching. Not to mention that the dubbing in Brazilian Portuguese was great! Greetings from Brazil.

Matthew McConaughey as Buster Moon really shows me his range as an actor. I honestly didn't know it was him when I saw the first Sing.
He has a pretty recognizable voice though lol.

SING 2 BLEW THE ROOF OFF! It’s the new gold standard of animated films! It’s one of the best animated movies I’ve ever seen! Their singing was spectacular, the costumes were amazing, the choreography was so engaging, and I loved the plot of the movie! Wow, I loved it and it’s so exciting to watch! 🤩

Sing 1 absolutely did what it had to do. It is to keep our attention on the movie. Making us hungry for more. Then 5 years after, Sing 2 is here. A total satisfying movie. I was in awe when I saw the intro right from the start and I was in total tears once again when I saw their last performance. I hope this isn't the last though!

When bono approached the scene, at the end of the movie, i was moved to tears, just the way how they manage to take the essence of a real concert into an animated movie, when everyone was singing, it broke my heart :[ such a powerful scene
My husband and I just watched this movie last night. I can't express it enough how amazed he and I was when we watched it. I loved every moment, there was never a dull moment. Then on top of that when Johnny did his fighting seen with his teacher and he felt defeated but when the cat start playing on the can drums, I was like it's about to go down!!! Omg everyone did amazing and it was so beautiful. If I could I would go see it hundred times. Great job!!!

I just saw sing 2 with my family and it was amazing! My favorite part is either when Porsha sings it could’ve been me and also I couldn’t even believe Halsey was porsha it was amazing! And I also never knew Scarlett Johansson was the voice of Ash! And I loved everything and yea! It should be number one kids movie in the world!

I’m 47 and grew up with U2. I watched this with my wife and son and my favorite thing about this movie was listening to a group of 7 year olds next to us singing I Still Haven’t Found!! Brought a smile to my face
My dream career is to be in the film industry, rather if it's acting, directing, writing, creating...etc. All I know is that I want to make/be apart of movies like this. Sing 2 is one of my most favorite movies ever. The experience I got from watching this movie in the theater boosts my confidence and proves that I can do that. Sing 2 is really a masterpiece
i literally just saw sing 2 and johnny’s performance of sky full of stars was undeniably my favorite part of the film and never have i ever made up my mind on my favorite part of a film like i did this one - and everything about it is incredible i was bouncing around in my seat the whole time!! an astounding movie in my book!
I am sooooo really determined to see this for the 3rd time cause it was that great!!! I really think sing 2 is better than the first!!! I really love seeing the characters again, especially my favorite Johnny, and love the new characters as well and I especially love the soundtrack!!
Seriously I give this movie 10/10 it's so great with the meaning of believe on ourselves even though there's no chance at all. Ouh I seriously fall in love with the songs, the characters, the plot and yeah this movie 😆 seriously recommend to everyone. This movie deserve a big award 😻.

FYI the final song (Your song saved my life) Bono wrote on his own without being asked by the producers. He loved the role so much he felt the character would’ve written it. He just showed up one day to the Director and said hey I wrote a song for the movie. Of course when they heard it there’s no way they couldn’t add it to the end of the movie.

The amount of love and patience that goes behind these movies shows on the big screen. I don’t really care for animated movies but I love Sing.
Saw it last night with my family (husband, 8yr boy, & 18yr boy). We positively loved it!!! What an amazing sequel. Loved the final fighting scene. And Mr. Crystal was scary!! Lol Loved everything honestly - singing, dance moves, outfits, the emotion, etc. Fantastic job everyone! Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Probably the best 3d animation I’ve ever seen. A few notable moments, moons hair when he’s a fuzzball and people are brushing up against him. Clays eyes. And just in general so much nuance and emotion and movement in every shot and every character (Just watch how peoples eyes are never still like reality). And I like the added touch of lens fx like chromatic aberration. All in a super solid movie. And a visual treat.
As a 40 year dude, I am not ashamed to say Sing 2 was effing awesome.

Saw it yesterday and Wow did they do an amazing work with this sequel. Whoever got that idea for Mr Crystal’s character is a genius 🤣🤣 He was my favorite. Dude doesn’t make empty threats😂 He literally threw Moon off the roof like he said he would 😅. He coulda just shot him but nope, throwing him off the roof was better. 🤣🤣

On the way to the movie we listened to U2 “With or Without You”. On the way home we listened to the movie soundtrack. My grandson is currently preparing for his role in Sister Act,Jr where he will have a solo. We anticipate his performance with great eagerness! Thanks again & we’re looking forward to SING3!🎥

Never thought I would ever say a sequel was better then the first but it was.My whole family watched and then I told my friends about it and they all loved it too.It's just a feel good movie with beautiful settings and costumes and great music choices.I also appreciate the choreography of the dancing.Just perfection.

Love it so much! Watched it in theater with my son. This movie is not only for children, but it entertains adult as well. In theater, I even heard adult man laughed so hard although I bet he came just to accompany his child at first but enjoyed it as well. This movie brings laugh, cry, and a lot of emotional feeling. Highly recommended!
Sing was an ok movie. I enjoyed the performances (especially Egerton's), and the movie was fun. But Sing 2 genuinely blew me away. The animation is superb, the story is great, all the song choices work, and all the new characters were crafted well.
It's hard to get a sequel right, and I thought this one was largely better than the first. They didn't break much new ground in terms of the narrative, but everything was solid. The best thing this one did, compared to Sing, is they made everything so much more colorful. It all just popped and was so pleasing to the eye.
I was veeery afraid to see sing 2, because sequel movies have a bad reputation. But I am soooo HAPPY that I did ... I lovvvve it
