How are you going.
Yeah it’s a nice spot and usually good to get fish but with so much water there is much area to cover. Mice just heard it’s down to 97% so has dropped 8% in 3 months. I’ll head back up there in a few months for a winter camp.

@@ottouring I've done a detour to check out the place on the way home after a camping trip to the Barrington Tops. But I've never stayed. I tend to stay mostly on free camping locations (while they still exist 😁).

@@ottouring At Foster/Tuncurry itself, there are no bush or beach camping that I'm aware of. All I know in that area are holiday parks. Even McBrides Beach is now permanently closed to vehicle access. Last time I was there, 4WDs are still allowed on Nine Mile Beach. A must visit in the area if you like beach driving. But most of the campsites (outside holiday parks) that I know are mostly South around the Myall Lakes area. If heading West of Foster, check out some bush camping along the Wallingat River. Or why not go all the way West to the Barrington Tops or Chichester State Forest. 😁 Have fun.

Hi, sorry for late reply due to no reception.
Spent 2 nights at foster stayed at Lanis which is a cheap caravan location and they an open paddock which backs onto the lack. $25 a night and you still have access to the caravan park facilities pool showers laundry etc.
Then drove over to Gloryvale reserve on thunderbolts way for 2 nights. Wow loved it. Videos won’t be uploaded for sometime due to backlog already scheduled
