- Hannah and I camped at NSW Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate on Australia Day, 26th January 2024.
"Who doesn’t love a camp site where you can feel miles from anywhere…but in reality, you’re no more than a stone’s throw from civilization. Well, we might have found the perfect example, just over the border in Northern New South Wales. Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate is close to Pottsville, Byron and no more than half an hour from the Gold Coast. What still is a working cattle property, now offers campers a beautiful creek-side spot, with a farmstay vibe to match. A lot has to be said for the manager of the property, Tom. He says that his dad (owner of the property) was originally a tad worried about letting strangers on to his land, but now just LOVES welcoming them as they come through the gate. You can read all the glowing reviews of Tom’s hospitality, as well as the quality of the campsite on the Hipcamp website."

Tent camping in Australia would be a huge challenge
Actually Australia has a best nature to camp with tent. Because the campground is maintained very well there is no bug or snake.

Hey man, what model and spec is your Prado? In addition, is there any other important mods and changes that you like in your set up?

It is GXL of 2020. I changed the wheels to KCM and installed a roof rack, tail gate table, arb awning and kings drawer system.
I will make a video about my vehicle’s set up soon.
