Georges you did your best. You lost the election with a tiny margin. You called your opponent and congratulated him. An example others should learn from. Peace is your legacy. That legacy is the most valuable thing for any possibility.

How you goin build your country? You have the skills, resources or trained engineers to do so? All of these developed countries you see in Africa, you think they developed those countries themselves? Sometimes your like to hear yourselves talk. If your could build Liberia, y’all ain’t built it yet in over 60 years. Everybody talk against colonialism with little understanding but there are major disadvantages to the absence of foreign investors. Ivory coast was developed by the French government. You over there can develop Liberia? You hear the man talk about how to attract foreigners to invest in the country so we can see developments why you think tht is? Meh you jst talk shit

I never thought this interview was going to go well with the president. Roland is a renounce journalist with a solid resume. So obviously, his questions were going to be very challenging for the president. Imagine a president who doesn't debate his opponents because he doesn't know how to articulate issues that are affecting the country...

I don't think he fully understands the magnitude of what his country means to the African diaspora based on history, which is unfortunate because it could be a huge selling point. Sierra Leonne gets it, Ghana gets it. Tourism would be an easy win for Liberia if it's history was properly told and marketed along with the beautiful beaches that are there.

Martin, I want to compliment you for that interview. You asked a question that the president didn't answer. I quote. Is there anything hindering investment from coming into the country? In my opinion, most investors are looking at the fact that corruption is at its peak in the government. The president is a good man, and he has the determination to rebuild the country as compared to some of the past leaders. However, the president doesn't have total control over the vast corruption. Secondly, the president needs to attract investors by calling other investors from around the world and telling them why they should invest in his country. What are the opportunities and the partnership they will curtail with the country and its people.
