The Indian economy opened itself to a wider market in the 90s and this reflected in the advertisements of the decade.

Being a 80s kid. They were golden days. World Was so calm, serenity and morality was everywhere.
coz sickularism was purely 1 way traffic
I too proud to be an 80's kid. 80's days remains as a breeze in my mind forever
i was born in '83 and these ads bring me joy and depression. Joy to see how peaceful and loving and simple the world was and depression cos we will never ever get that back. I would give anything to go back to these times. Even till early 2000s it was still good but once social media came in, the world went downlhill imo.
You put in words exactly what was in my heart. And well said 'joy & depression' same feeling I too have . We were so calm and joyful till early 2000's. Remember those cd music system, dvd buying, vcd renting, cassette buying. All those small joys are very big for us now. And most painful feeling is when I realize I can't have that period once more @@Whatreally123
Every generation says the same thing
Globally, the 80s was the best era. It was the best time. Simple, no nonsense life. Today, I have everything but still I will be happy to leave everything and go back to the 80s.
No controversies..no wokism..no unnecessary hatred for foreign language..simple ways of life.. breathable air...good old days❤❤
@Dr.A.J582... You are Right Doc.... Anyway I have a question ...It's bit personal but you don't look like your are kid from 80's .... I mean you look very young...
@@DeepBh7 I'm not from 80s m from 90s
absolutely.....amazing those days....
On the contrary the 80s and 90s were incredibly woke where lessons about unity and equality were taught openly. Its today's generation which has become bigoted and hateful in the name of being "anti woke".
The old accent was so buch better than the current ones we have, it's so attractive
It shows how much we were close to colonial mind set

The most mesmerizing eras of entertainment; unforgotten & evergreen, thanks, love & lots of memories
I remember the first time my family purchased TV was in 1986 and we used to see these commercials. Very nostalgic unforgotten and evergreen. Wish I could get back to the 80,s when cost of bread was 10INR, Softdrinks were around 8INR.
It wasn't that expensive..you are.mistaking over price
Tell me more how was the 80s everyone talks about it
It was much cheaper. I have drank coke for rs 10 in late 90's.
no the cold drink price was 1.25 rupees n i did not have that small amount hahahahhah and bread was 2.50 rupees my mom used purches half hahahhah
@fahadzafar1115 true, and much later the cold drinks changed to 5 rupees, gold spot is something that I really miss!
Miss you 80 ki woh doar kasa woh din vapsa aajay 😊😊😊
To the best of my recollection many ads were not broadcast on doordarshan. Many ads were broadcast in cinema halls prior to beginning of movies. Many video cassettes also contained ads. Thanks for uploading. Memories of childhood are deeply embedded in mind.
Very memorable and Nostalgic. It was Golden Period.
9:36 Oh my God. It's Mahesh Anand the star henchmen villain. Looking like a hero. Very handsome personality.

I thought Limca ad will continue for the remaining next hour😂
Golden ERA - very nostalgic ads
So creatively done & stylish ads, unlike ads of today with Nepo kids!
Nepo kids are everywhere. Wake up and open your eyes. Don't tell me you will not try and pull strings to get your kid into school, college or a job by approaching known connections. Fucking double standards in indians
can we turn back time....❤
Wish we all can
Bullet ad.. wow. Saw the old diesel railway engine.. same which I used to see often as my family was working in Railways.
