No express way for Kerala. Even for nh66 centre begged Kerala for 25% land acquisition cost. I heard they are begging for cash from Kerala for other projects also...

It connects Panvel (a city south of Mumbai) to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari), passing through the states of Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu..
Maharashtra: 475 km (295 mi)
Goa: 137 km (85 mi)
Karnataka: 294 km (183 mi)
Kerala: 678 km (421 mi)
Tamil Nadu: 56 km (35 mi)

Everyone is pointing out that India is in huge debt. There is no wonder that our government initiates this much developed within a few years. It won't come free. And we need to remember that the UPA government also brings our country into debt without giving anything to us. BJP is far better than any other governments we had in the past.

- Baniala-Damero (linking Trans Haryana with DME)

The next 5 years are probably going to be the most crucial for infrastructure.
If BJP/NDA comes back with a comfortable majority, we'll see most if not all of these projects completing by 2029 (except the parts in Bengal which will never progress because Mamata will spike progress there).
These completed projects can take our economy, especially the share of exports, to the next level.

Thing which I would love to see is a central body which manages all the roads of towns and cities especially cities like Delhi Mumbai Bengaluru bcz these cities don't have budget problem but still their roads are not good

Why do we not build green belt along expressways possibly 50mtr wide which will not only help environment but will also protect the area from encroachment.
Lack of land. Land acquisition is the biggest hurdle in India. We don't have that much land available and if we have then most of the land belongs to farmers which is toughest task to acquire the land from them.
We are doing very well with the land which we have. Can't expect much more unless we become akhanda bharat again 😅

Bengaluru - Mysore expressway is kinda bad in terms of quality etc compared to other expressways in north.....still many things need to be done but compared to existing highway this expressway is a great improvement...❤❤so by 2030 atleast most expressways will be completed according to this video

the main problem with Indian Road constructions are the expansion joints which are disgracefully levelled

@@anubhavsingh6436 yup....the amount of curves present at the road and the uneveness between joints of viaducts and ramps,etc at speeds around 80kmph + is very uncomfortable and dangerous especially at night....no proper reflectors placed on some parts on the crash barriers, fencings,etc

hub and spoke is what makes comprehensive growth, and not just focused on delhi and mumbai
for many of these cities, the median should be used to build high speed train connections. will let it bypass many land acquisition issues and speed up building high speed trains.

Sad to note that the toll charges are exorbitant and it continues for decades.Bengaluru...Nagercoil (Thiruvananthapuram)...around 740km...toll chhargrs around 1200K...its too high
Very well compiled.. not sure if some of the express ways are really needed. Like Amritsar-Jamnagar, could use delhi mumbai expressway and link expressways to important cities... Similarly pune-Blore. Can have bypass greenfield sections at major busy sections, rest existing ones can be upgraded
Amritsar Jamnagar is important from strategic view. Border road infra along the western frontier.

Amritsar Jamnagar is the most important one among these. A single expressway that connects all major cities in Western India to Ports in Gujarat. It will help the Industrial and export sector. Plus, it is very close to Pakistan border. So, strategic importance
Very important from export/import point of view, as both Kandla and Mundra ports will be within easy reach of this expressway. Will increase export competitiveness of exports from PJ/HR/Jammu
and in turn imports of goods to these northern states will also become cheaper.
