In our June edition we take a look back at some of the key news and the best moments from Consensus2022, including IOG’s new Web3 lightwallet, Lace, and the EVM sidechains initiative. And get to hear from some of the Cardano community who were at Consensus in force to make it such a special event.
We’ll also share some highlights from our audit and certification workshop in Barcelona at the end of May, where IOG got together with projects building on Cardano to talk best practice and learn more together about this important topic.
Plus, we’ll have the latest on the progress towards the Vasil upgrade and meet just a few of the people making it all happen - from architects, to test engineers to DApp developers.

I have been following Cardano's progress since 2017, when I saw Charles' legendary whiteboard video. With the Vasil hard fork, I have the sense that the Cardano ecosystem will enter a phase of explosive growth. The excitement is tangible. Soon, decentralized apps built on Cardano will find their way into the world and to the masses, to fulfill the original promise of blockchain technology. This is gonna be so much fun.. ☺
His legendary pump video where he used phrases like "scientific approach", "peer reviewed code", "working with regulators" at the same time not a single line of code was written. This whiteboard video pumped the nothing project to 50 billion dollars. Think about that, 50 billion dollars and no code. Fraud on the scale of Enron. What he didn't tell you is all major platforms have code audits employing a scientific approach. Nor did he update you to the fact Cardano isn't working with regulators. This con man didn't tell you he was hired by Japanese businessmen in 2015 and his company, IOHK, took on the Cardano contract and were paid in ADA. He didn't come up with the idea for it and he doesn't care about it. After being booted out of Ethereum unanimously by the 8 other co-founders, Charles was ready to go back to school and finish his education, the same education he fabricated to ADA holders.
Better late than never.
I only discovered this Universe (not ecosystem) now, and i am already overwhelmed .

Is Hydra similar to the Lighning network for bitcoin in any sense?
Hydra is a second rate scaling solution that will not scale Cardano nearly well enough to handle and volume of transactions despite what con man Hoskinson is telling you. He is only stringing ADA holders along with promises as usual continuing to pump his nothing platform.
