@@joered3579 I don't know what that means, chicken wing. I just know that I'm bitter because Cardano, Ideologically, is fantastic. But their is still nothing fantastic I or my neighbor can do with it. Prove me wrong.
@@the_platform there is so much you can do with your ADA right now. How about staking ADA to ISPOs or using ADA to participate in ICOs (depending on your risk tolerance). In doing so earn the tokens of new projects launching dapps within the ecosystem. As these tokens appreciate swap to build and accumulate more ADA rinse and repeat.
You’re SUPERHEROES IOG… keep those heads held high. You’re going to leave behind a *significantly* better world than the one you found. Love.

ADA gang still strong!
Cardano is the third primary blockchain with native tokens after BTC and ETH. It is a steadily growing BC that is build on academic rigour and first principles. It is committed to bank the unbanked, supporting people that have no access to a bank account. It has the scale to support nation states and has allready made deals with several African countries. Never before have I seen such a supporting and thriving community that is backing it. With the highest commits a day, the developper community behind ADA is building fast to aim at the blockchain trilemma. And is progressively succeeding, tackling security first and decentralization second. Now entering the Basho era, it will address scalability so it is ready to serve billions of concurrent users. It's staking mechanism is the most user friendly and secure on the market, keeping your keys to yourself while making a whopping 4-5% compounding rewards every 5 days. And it is still early days! It makes me positive.
As always just brilliant - way to go, you and all these projects are amazing!

Seen the videos of people queuing for the ATM's in Ukraine... That's just one aspect, but yeah..
But if we would have implemented crypto fully in our world society, it would be impossible to pressure a country (in this case Russia) by disconnecting them from the financial world environment. For example threathening to exclude them from SWIFT.
Correct me if im wrong please and would love to hear other opinions and insights that can change my mind

When will the Mastering Cardano book be out? Hopefully there will be an electronic version so that updates will be easy to add and timely.
What a Cardano improvement proposal looks like:
“CIP33:Reference Scripts”
- [rather than forcing devs to repeatedly include the same script in multiple blocks and expand block sizes to accommodate this: allow for scripts to be stored once on chain and then referenced by future blocks which need them.]
What an Etherium Improvement proposal looks like: “EIP1559” - [BUUURRNNN coins until everyone is rich!!!]
This illustrates the difference between the communities behind these two projects.
And don't forget to mention that currently the ETH model seems sustainable, especially after the merge, while Cardano's model gonna run into big problems in a few years when inflation decreases

I would also have thought it would be faster because there is already another implementation over the design coti will use. Still good news that their testnet goes out in March with just an 8 week (two months) wait for mainnet (so mainnet on May)

You're likely to lose more, especially compared to other L1s. ada was overpriced at 3, and was still overpriced at 0.8. However since dapps are just being released and ecosystem is growing, there are a lot of opportunities to generate some gains on Cardano right now... But if you don't have time or don't want to actually use the ecosystem and just wanna buy & hodl, I don't think you should hodl lots of ada right now, since it's most likely gonna continue bleeding against other L1s for the next few years 'till it gets enough traction...

Unfortunate name DJED for stablecoin. Wish they used a different name. Sounds too close to DEAD. ROCK or FLATwould be better since it sounds stable. DJED, ancient Egyptian. Not many people outside of Egypt will pick up on that. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that meeting that decided that.
Also, many people know about ancient Egypt.
