Water with that color and clarity just looks like it should be warm! It's like when the sun is shining in Vermont I never think I need a jacket, until I get outside and the air temperature is 25% with a 30 mph wind blowing! Great hunt, money for gas and dinner, life doesn't get much better.

Fantastic hunt, even for such a short one. I looked up the exchange rate, and at the moment, 1 Swiss Franc is AUD1.44. Not a bad return. It must be a bummer going the other way! Prior to 1968 all Swiss coins from the half franc upward contained either 83.5% silver or 90% silver. The single exception is the 5 Franc coin which was minted in silver again in 1969 (after being minted in copper nickel in 1968). See you on the next hunt. Cheers mate!

Hey Michael, greetings from California, wow what a find, watch you all the time, love what your doing, you peaked my interest so I started detecting as well with a Garrett 400 at, doing mostly land and learning how to use the machine, mostly coins and a lot of trash.
