Thoughts and Prayers for the Libyans. Once a thriving and prosperous country (I am not for nor against Gaddafi). Would this have occurred if the US/EU/NATO had not bombed, destroyed infrastructure, and left the country in disarray?
I hope Libyans find good leaders who work for them.

According to people in Libya, yes it would have. Infrastructure in Libya was partially built by Italy when Libya was a colony of THEM so probably best direct whatever beef you have more towards European colonialism.
Also, what part about "failed to account for...." did you not understand? Managing dams is critical. I don't know what kinds of dams those were that broke because there are different types. I could lecture you about dams because I understand them and the different types but I don't think you have the mental capacity to grasp it so waste of time. Go back to 2:35 and listen again. Even their authorities say they didn't manage it correctly.
Also, there's this:
A total of 497 earthquakes with a magnitude of four or above have struck within 300 kilometers (186 mi) of Libya in the past 10 years. This comes down to a yearly average of 49 earthquakes per year, or 4 per month. On average an earthquake will hit near Libya roughly every 7 days.
You know earthquakes tend to weaken infrastructure over time. Kinda sucks but that's the way it is. Even dams.
Also, the GADDAFI govt. did indiscriminate bombing which is why the no-fly zone was established, so if anything THOSE forces did more destruction.
Next, that was a CIVIL WAR where after Gaddafi forces were once again indiscriminately bombing civilians the UN Security Council passed a 10-0 no fly zone, which means they weren't bombing anything. They were only keeping planes from flying over parts of the country. And if I remember correctly the side against the govt. were upset from the lack of support from different countries, although I think there was once or twice different troops kept certain infrastructure from being damaged, which is the opposite of what you said. It was oil infrastructure if I recall.
But hey you're free to keep twisting what happened. Gaddafi used Libya to enrich his family and their govt. provided little to no benefit to the people there depending on who the people were.
Lastly, even in China they've had devastating floods which have killed thousands of people. We will never know how many. Part of this was a failure to prepare for the typhoons that came in fast enough and draw down their reservoirs they use for flood control. Another SAD part is they opened floodgates at night which did the same thing there as what happened in Libya, but instead of a dam breaking, it was just too much water running into areas from the floodgates in the dams. Floodgates are openings in the dams that when opened allow a controlled flow through those gates, but because the typhoons dumped so much rain they had to open them so much that it devastated areas downriver.
Grow up. Learn something instead of how to blame.
Please blame the other polical parties that were fighting power to attention to the people. The main government deny AID for two days why is that?.

It is a terrible tragedy what happened in Libya. It is incredible that there was no warning of the disaster that was coming. The number of people who have died and the amount of resources needed to help the people who were able to survive is outrageous. I want to see all countries sending aid to Libya starting with the richest countries, where is their aid?????

This devastation makes you wonder why these Libyan leaders want power, if they have no desire to govern or care for their citizens! Where do they get the funds to remain relevant or pay those who help them maintain power? I don't understand someone wanting power just for the sake of power! All these people dead or dying and their leaders using excuses for why they did or are doing nothing! Is their any higher power to which they answer?
