I am 76 years old and I am on a training regime. Three minutes neck exercises . 100 shield casts with five pound club bell. 25 shield casts with a 5 pound mace. My aim is to do one thousand shield casts at one training season. I do sets of twenty five and increase a set every few days. I have really been inspired listening to Mark Wildman.

Wow. I just recently discovered this training but hadn't purchased yet because I am severely deconditioned and in addition to that, I am 62 years old. Thank you for your inspirational comment after 76 years of wisdom!

I just finished week three of the Overweight/Deconditioned Individuals program. Going well. The gradual increase in duration and intensity made it a gentle start but by week three, quite challenging. Thx Mark.

Lots of talented, dedicated folks get sh*t done. Some of them put in the time to deeply understand how and why that sh*t gets done. Precious few of those emerge who are of a disposition to devote their time to helping others maximize the sh*t that they get done. Keep up the great content, Wildman = )

I got kettlebells from Walmart, cold steel bat from Amazon(34in) i feel like i shldve gotten the 24in since I'm 5'3. I started the program for decontioned individuals 7/25/23 there about just to see if i could do it because I'm well, obese. I have repeated week 1/day 1 multiple times since, at first i thought it was too easy until i watched the video that explained the technique down to a T!. As an obese person this is literally my last chance to get strong and eventually lose weight. My bat arrived days ago, its the 1st of aug 23, I'm scared to fail again. Fingers crossed. Oh I've had plantar fasciitis since 2009 so I've been in pain ever since.. If i can try so can you. ❤

You can definitely solve the foot issues with lateral weight swinging. It’s not fun. But if you give it a year of work. You can fix it forever

Wow, I am obese and 65 yrs old. I am so immobile that I sit almost all day everyday. I just purchased the program and started reading through the beginning. I already have kettlebells so I ordered a bat. I'm praying this can get me going again. I too am afraid of failing because I've started and stopped so many things including diets. And I have plantar fasciitis as well.

2 weeks ago, I was searching for an anti-extension movement on Google and found your channel. You have opened up the world of kettlebells and clubbells for me, a 40yr old who was struggling to find some kind of strength training that wouldn't make the mobility in my thoracic spine worse. Just started the 2HC program now, enjoying a lot all the detailed instructions and the variety of cool downs and warm-ups. Your way of communicating and demonstrating the exercises yourself is great, plus the quality of the videos and their beautiful outdoor scenery makes it easier for me to watch.

I broke my toe. I couldn’t move for a few weeks. I can’t believe how much weight I put on and how deconditioned I’ve become. Working my way back though.

Some people with RSI in their wrists are actually getting it because their brachial plexus is compressing the nerves that run along their due to bad posture. Strengthen the posterior chain and muscles around the shoulders and boom wrist problems go away so Mark is certainly right with some much of his work! However, I wouldn't overlook the wrists or the hands in the warmup or the warm down given the amount of grip your doing with a KB or a Club or Mace etc. it's all tied in. What is really handy to get hold of some Finger Resistance Bands - grip strength to help in the opposite direction (extension) to help prevent imbalances. That's my two cents.

What to do when you are afraid to do some exercises? When I look back there was never real reason for fear. I am walking and doing light exercises like warming up. Stopped taking afternoon naps.
