how do you gauge what is enough swimming for the horses?

Hi Haeleypapa, our horses usually only do a few rounds of the pool, they swim for roughly 5-10 minutes only, it depends on their fitness level.

You swim horses so that you can exercise them without loading the hooves...keeping the heels contracted and underdeveloped. You are locking the stride of a FOAL. This should be illegal.

bmc06239 I'm sure they do other exercises. Swimming is great because it can build muscle while being low impact
