- The problem with rear mount turbo systems is the oil return line. In today's video we go over methods to prevent blown turbo seals and oil coating your charge pipe. Fabricating a custom oil return sump tank to your scavenge pump out of steel piping and weld on -10an fittings.

Man love your videos i got that 300$ infinity g35 I hope I can see that car one day in Tyler
Would running it too an oil cooler then to the scavenge pump work the same? Trying to pull this off in my tl if possible
Welding in shorts no bueno. Seriously though is there a substitute if I don't have a mig or tig welder?
There are a few small companies online that make various sized sumps but unless your turbo has a ton of ground clearance most won’t work. If somebody were to manufacture a low profile turbo drain sump they would make a small fortune. Unfortunately doing it yourself or hiring a fabricator would be the best option. Maybe Soho performance or one of the rear mount turbo kit companies has a better option.
GREAT WORK!
Thanks man!
