My good friend Laura Gorgorian, now deceased, was born in Armenia and fled persecution in 1915 with her parents and siblings. They came to New York and on to Phoenix, Arizona where I met Laura. A beautiful, sweet, wonderful lady with a talent for sewing and entertaining with love and hospitality. She and relatives attended the Armenian Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. I miss her! God bless the Armenia people and land.

I was there last week and I tell you people, it was like straight out of a Game of Thrones scene. The food were awesome, people warm (tho strict looking) and the sceneries were to die for. The monasteries made me feel something inside of me, like a reconnection to my spiritual side. It was like being close to Jesus and the heavens. I closed my eyes and imagined living in ancient Armenia and I could feel it in my bones. Still gives me goosebumps thinking about it. I promise to come back. I was also fortunate to have been blessed by Father Saleh in the monastery of Noravank when I was there. He also invited me and my group to join a baptism ceremony. I loved it a loooooot ❤

One of the most sacred & beautiful of places, culturally so rich; I’ve never been there but I’m very fond of Armenian art, music etc. As an ashkenazi Jew who lost family during the holocaust (not to mention centuries of persecution) the tragic yet resilient story of the Armenians resonates with me strongly. Wow !! Can't express how much have I enjoyed this video. Didn't want it to end. I grew up as a little girl with Armenian kids and lived next to Armenian neighbours. As a child I had a dream to visit Armenia one day. My favourite classmate was an Armenian girl, my favourite teacher was our neighbor Armenian woman. But, suddenly everything had changed and horrible riots started in a country and all of them fled at once to Armenia , Russia , Canada and so on. It was very very sad... Few years later we left to Israel. Today I'm 43 years old and I remember all of them , their names and surnames and how wonderful and educated they were. I wish one day somehow I will have opportunity to take my three kids and come with them to travel in Armenia. Thank you for such a wonderful and precious video 💕

We Armenians have nothing against Turkish people its not their fault that they deny Genocide, it is not like they know the truth and they denying, they grew up learning an believing something else. it is the Government who knows what exactly happened and keeps his people away from the truth as people have power to make changes.

Agreed on all, except there's no getting to anywhere by keep chanting "genocide". There are 2 sides to the events of 1915 involving Armenians.
There's history. You have to study it bilaterally or you are laughable. Politicians never been and surely aren't today in a position to talk about history. Simply because they chose to be politicans, regardless of their background. Armenians were the "nation loyal(millet) in the Turkish Empire, then towards the beginning of the collapse of it, some Armenians decided to rage villages, kill villagers, abduct people, rape women; all while fighting on the enemy front against the state they live in! Then, other Armenians, be it innocent or guilty, suffered consequences, which was mainly dislocation. Not as simple as this, but I didn't write this for a bigoted mind anyway, but for people who can think.

if interested...Rothman, quoted said...''All that was known in Mesopotamia
came from Armenia and that Armenia is the absent fragment in the entire mosaic
      of the ancient world's civilization's construction. H.V. Hilprecht (1859-1925)
a Clark research professor of Assyriology and scientific director Babylonian
expedition at the University of Penn. argue that the Hittite tongue is Armenian
and the Hittites themselves were of Armenian stock... All civilization came
from The Armenians Highlands. What do other historians say...according to
Anthropologist Mitchell S. Rothman regarding the extent of discoveries
and specially on the quality of horse bones proved, According to him, that it
was from the Shangavit Armenian 6000 years ago that the culture of that area
spread around to the ancient world..
according to Ellis (1861) through language analysis we
observe that under the names of Phrygians, Thracians, Pelasgians and Etruscans
spread westward from Armenia to Italy and Elis claimed that the closest
affinities of the Aryan element are the Armenians ..other historians that agree
are Hellenthal, Busgy, Brand, Wilson, Myers and Falush...Professor Jensen also
says. ‘For almost everything that is known in the Hittite language is Old
Armenian in form..Historian Sayce (1845-1933) also consider Hittite and Armenian to be one and
      the same’.
Also if interest….let me quote Merrick (2012) All religions
are descended from and ancient Vedic cosmology described in the Rib -
Veda, originating in Armenia near Mt. Ararat at least 6800 ys ago and the basic
concepts of a transcendental mountain extending into space and populated planet
Star-gods were developed...he further says...This Astrotheology then migrated
with Armenian Aryans to found the Sumerian Ethiopian/Egyptian and Indian
civilizations and religions...from Language as a fingerprint Setyan...

I am from Serbia and I was told since child that Armenians are our brothehood people. In Serbia as soon as you hear any reference to Armenia it is allways with a warm friendly feeling. Armenia is a country that should have been much larger than it is, the size of the country diesnt reflect at all the grandiosity of Armenian culture and its civilization. It is absolutely clear that vasts ammounts of Amenian territory were given to neghbouring countries which did their best to erase Armenian culture from those parts, similarly to how Serbia was shrinken and driven to its minimal boundaries. The Armenian monasteries and its form of Christinity is so beautiful and pure, it is astonishing and it is clear Byzantine and Serbian medieval Christian architecture took much of its influence from Armenian one. Yerevan seems such an warm-welcoming metropolis. Its urbanistic display with plenty of gorgeos rose-stone imponent buildings makes it so unique. It is definitelly a country I would adore to visit. My father had that chance when during the 1970s make a tour with his rock band troughout USSR having concerts in Leningrad, Moscow, Minsk, Kiev, Odessa, Tbilissi and Yerevan. My mother travelled along with him and besides the grandiosity of St. Petersburg palaces and Moscow, they mostly remember with extreme passion Yerevan and Tbilissi. My fathers rock bands were Zlatni Decaci and Korni Grupa, they toured in USSR several times, because Yugoslav bands were allowed to perform in USSR, any younger generation of Armenians may ask their parents if they knew them or by chance been to their concerts. Armenia entire country looks so spiritualy enligthening, besides all cultural monuments, the nature is absolutelly astonishing. The major difference between Serbian and Armenian countryside is that in Serbia you have small villages and houses everywhere, while in Armenia there seem to be large virgin areas without humans. Anyway, kindests regards, Long live Armenia and Serbia
