[NO EGG, NO BUTTER] WHITE LOAF BREAD | Gardenia Classic White Loaf Bread [ASMR]

    🍞 Ingredients
    • Lukewarm Water 90g
    • Lukewarm Milk 240g
    • Active Dry Yeast 1-1/4 tsp
    • Sugar 42g
    • Table Salt 1 tsp
    • Bread Flour 525g
    • Whipping Cream 90g
    🍞 Instructions
    1. In the small bowl combine the lukewarm water and milk and mix in the yeast and a teaspoon of sugar, stir to dissolve the yeast and let sit for 5 minutes.
    2. Combine the dry ingredients in a big bowl flour, salt, and sugar.
    3. Yeast was now fully activated and foamy, combine it with the dry ingredients and mix using a wooden spoon. knead by hand for about 10 minutes, and let the dough sit for about 15 minutes inside the bowl covered with plastic wrap.
    4. After 15 minutes of resting you will notice that the becomes easy to handle because it fully absorbed all the moisture. Now pour in the whipping cream and combine it using your clean hands until all the cream is absorbed by the dough. Turn it out onto a beach and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. the dough might be sticky, do not attempt to add flour.
    5. Grease the dough using oil and cover it and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
    6. preheat oven to 180°C
    7. Deflate and divide the dough into 3 equal pieces and form into loaves. you can divide it into 2 as well. Place the loaves into loaf pans. Cover the loaves with a damp cloth and let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 minutes.
    8. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bottom of the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.

    Hi! I’d like to put food coloring to make rainbow bread, do i mix it in the dough after the 1st rise or 2nd rise (before baking) ?

      The proper ways is to add the color before it develop the gluten since you're making a rainbow colors.
