The Crown | Australia LOVES Diana

That woman who said “you’re so beautiful” meant the light inside as well as out.
It just hit me like a ton of bricks, one reason why Diana might have loved being among people so much... it was the only place she could receive true love.
Pretty much said as much in her famous Panorama interview.
They all were in love with Diana. All of them. The entire world pined for her. No wonder why her legacy endures still nowadays. She shone brighter than the sun beside the frigid royal family she was married into.
this was at the height of the DIsney Princess era. I think these days a woman like Anne is more preferred- accomplished, intelligent, forthright and witty.
@@MsJubjubbird Anne?
? Anne had a slew of issues including mommy ones. She had a very tumultuous love life as well. Diana was just a kind lady. Kindness never goes out of style girl.@@MsJubjubbird
@@ambz-yb6zy it's not about whether Anne had issues. Everyone has issues. Diana had affairs while having two children at home, including with men in relationships already which is not kind. But Anne, while not having Diana's looks, is the hardworking, athletic, stoic and witty one; character traits that are not very feminine but are idealised today in women, bet less so forty years ago.
@@MsJubjubbird If princess Anne is so amazing, you shouldn’t be praising her at the same time you’re bringing her down. Her character should speak for herself, not the fact that you think she’s better than someone else. And you’re seriously going to talk about her affairs when prince Charles had one first? It was an arranged marriage, not one from love. Was she supposed to be alone the rest of her life when her supposed husband got to be with the love of his life also?? Not fair to me. Also how would you know if Diana was hardworking and witty and kind just as much as Anne. I just don’t see why you need to bring another woman to prove why your favourite is better. You can have your opinion but it doesn’t mean you should put someone else down just because you don’t like them.
You'd think he'd be so proud of her. He had a healthy, beautiful, young wife that everyone adored.
But he hated her
he has never been into arm candy. He was trying to establish himself and she jumped in front of the photo without thinking of him
@@manjiabanti he didn't hate her, he found her far from lovalbe however when they were married

HE WAS JEALOUS
OF HER POPULARITY

Diana knew how to reach out to people
It's sad really; she was so loved and the royal family was so jealous even if they didn't want to admit it and she did it by just being herself.
The family shouldn’t exist anymore
My mother in law dispised me, she knew how much I loved my son, and I exposed her failings as a mother to her own son (my partner at the time)
She would always go against my wishes when I specifically told her I wanted him to eat a certain food, or be allowed to nap.... She would change him into different clothes when we visited, and tell me not to hold him so much.
One day, my partner was having a strop and she was comforting him, my baby was teething and restless so I was hugging him to calm him down. One of the other family members said I was "a natural" but my mother in law passed a comment " she should care for her partner a little more" It was such a nasty subliminal passive aggressive remark that even my father in law told her to "reel it in"
Because she was so cold and didn't have a pure soul connection with her own children ( materialistically yes, and over compensated with negative support even when they were in the wrong) - she seemed to hate the bond I had with my son.
Years later I spoke with my ex, and he said he had been so confused as a child, and had resented her for interfering in our relationship (that ultimately put so much pressure on it that it broke down)
He once said that he was grateful I stood up to her, and loved our son the way I did. I can't help thinking that had she not damaged her own son with her toxicity and coldness, maybe loved him more and showed affection, instead of hate, would he have been a better parent and partner to me and his son!!!
He never could find a relationship after that, and never had anymore children.
Shes dead now, and has left all those unfinished conversations and all that sadness behind in him.
I’m so sorry you had to endure that abusive behaviour and your ex partner too ! Healing thoughts sent your way 🙏🏻
PRINCESS DIANA = ROCK STAR ✌😉🎉🎊👑
I love Diana so much❤
I was so happy for her. The moment where everyone cheered for her was the support she really needed.
anne is actually so smart
In that scene. I can imagine
that HMTQ was thinking:
"I should have gone there
myself with Philip!"
Emma Corrin did an amazing job. It's like seeing Diana all over again 😢
"The clinging is what they are responding to. What a natural mother she is. How PHYSICAL, and CARING....."
All the things that most likely the Queen's children did not get from her was a subtle point made in this scene.
Anne said her parents were very adoring. Just that they were away working a bit.
William and Harry love their mother very much. I wonder what this world would be if she still was alive
I love Diana
Everyone loved her but Charles so sad
This, right here, is why Charles hated Diana and wanted to marry Camilla. Can you imagine anyone gathering and cheering for Camilla in the same way? 😂 Charles cannot bear to be overshadowed and so he knew he was safe with Camilla. 😂
stop talking rot

I said, and I will say this forever "The Crown is a joke"
😲😲😲😲
Australia may have loved Diana; but all he did was be jealous of her popularity and whine/complain about her fatigue!

why would anyone want to see that rubbish?
she should have held his hand and included him, I bet things would have been a little different.
Nothing she did could fix the enormous emptiness of his fragile ego, realising that she outshined him just by quietly being in the same room. So effortlessly that he hated it.
