That zombie game looks very good. It’s awesome considering John Carpenter is a hardcore gamer!
had zero idea! O.O the more i know *Ding* :D
It's a live service game that online only though
They are behind the game World War Z that is a zombie horde shooter. I have over 1000 hours in it! Its so damn good even with random players, matchmaking is across all platforms.
They definitely know what they are doing so it looks promising.
Carpenter is one of my favorite directors, kind of blows my mind he made a video game, especially since it actually looks great.
@@Hinjima92the bloody unpredictable item spawning is absolutely shit a lot of issues I have with the game
11:57 Black Hawk... Dawn?
Lol I came looking for this comment. I think he got the name mixed up with something else.
Me too
Wasn't sure if that was a sequel I missed out on.
@@HawkSea😂😂
Black hawk dong
I loved Blackhawk: Dawn
Oh so cringe
lol I'm glad someone caught that
I love you
He did it intentionally so you would comment and boost engagement
Hey, thanks for including Luna Abyss in this! It's awesome to see people excited about it 😄
Also just wanted to mention that we don't actually have a release date yet! We hope we'll have one to share soon but we don't know when it'll be yet!
You guys take your time. A bad game is always bad. A late game can still be good. Much love from Pakistan excited about this project!
So for the game "Mouse" the developers are actually using a style of cartoon from the 1920s-30s called "rubber hose" cartoons, which isn't actually exclusive to steamboat Wilie, though I do understand how one might reach that conclusion. As someone absolutely obsessed with the 1920s and 30s, this looks like a game I will very much enjoy!
One game deserving attention is Witchfire! Already in early access, but looks really good
lmao at the extremely casual knife stab at 12:52 'Hello *stab* '
Man really wants a BioShock game lmao
Don’t we all though?
Well, Judas at least has a release date, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Was looking for this comment lmao
@@Asto508 Len Levine shat all over Bioshock canon with Burial at Sea so I’m really not holding out any hope for Judas at all. At best it’ll be a direct Bioshock copy, at worst it’ll be another Atomic Heart; marketed using Bioshock’s name but actually being nothing like it upon release
@@colonelcrackerz2320 Quite funny to talk about canon when Bioshock Infinite opened up the whole multiverse thing in the first place. Bioshock's story has always been kinda convoluted and the story isn't what made the games enjoyable.
Atomic Heart was rather disappointing in that regards, so I have high hopes for Judas, especially because of Ken.
Luna Abyss gave me strong Returnal vibes just with the way the enemies attack you and the settling made me think a mix of Bioshock and Atomic Heart
Was looking for the vid and you uploaded!
Thank you for mentioning our game, ExeKiller! We appreciate it and stay tuned for more!
Luna Abyss reminded me of an old manga called "BLAME!", just for the atmosphere and setting.
exactly this
That was actually pretty good too
Tsutomu Nihei settings are some of the best in manga imo, wish there'd be more games with that futuristic desolate style world
One of the best manga I've ever read
Reminds me of the whisper of the worm mission from destiny 2, they had to be inspired. The demo is great
awesome list lots of new ones im glad i saw!
DONT LET KENDRICK LAMAR SEE THIS💀💀

When I first seen the trailer for Stalker 2 I was so excited it looked new and refreshing compared to the games I play on xbox. Since they added the older games on xbox I can confidently say Stalker 2 is now my most hyped game for this year
From an outsiders perspective, the fans waiting for Stalker 2 remind me of when you ask your parents what happened to your pet and they say it went on vacation...
From an insider’s perspective:
“I’VE DONE MY WAITING! 12 YEARS OF IT!! IN THE ZONE!!!
Ain't easy to develop a game when your homeland gets invaded by R*ssia
Fromsoftware fans know the pain
FYI, Slipgate Ironworks IS 3D Realms. It's their in-house development team.
As always, great video Falcon.
Verski’s Untitled FPS looks incredible.
Have you played The Hong Kong Massacre? I believe it’s the same company.
Gray Zone Warfare is also looking good!
bold of u thinking STALKER 2 will finally come out this year
Honestly, it’s kind of miracle the game is still being worked on considering a good portion of the dev team is enlisted on the war front
Well, they have given it a release date - Sept 5th. So guess we'll see
I remember when I first heard about it I was sad it was only gonna be on series x because I didn’t wanna get one until it was cheaper… now it is cheaper… I have one… and it’s still not out. With the war and everything hopefully it’s not another atomic heart. Kinda giving me some ptsd
@@AlexOvTheAbyssreally hope this holds
@@bronzin1445 A couple of the developers died within the first 3 months of the war sadly 😭
Definitely putting a pin in Luna Abyss and Clockwork Revolution, those absolutely look like my jam. ExeKiller also looks very promising.
I'm also thinking of checking out STALKER, though I haven't played the first one so I'm not sure if I can safely jump into the sequel...
It was a trilogy, and other than some loose connections are mostly unrelated, you're always a new character on a new adventure in the Zone, the third one Call of Pripyat is considered the best
Oh, I didn't know Luna Abyss had a release date, nice. Been look forward to that one.
Awesome video Mr coff….. falcon…… love it and love u bro
Keeping an eye on toxic commando
Really appreciate all the hard work you guys put in in making these videos all the time. Thanks for the great content
I know it was released at the end of last year, so not really what this list is about, but I played El Paso Elsewhere at the beginning of January. So far it's not just the best shooter I've played this year but also for a pretty long time. Outside of great gameplay it also has a surprisingly in depth and emotional story. I started it just wanting to shoot a bunch of stuff but it really dragged me in to the point that every cut scene was a joy I always looked forward to.
Luna Abyss has such a cool art style. The use of color is so dope
Great list, Falcon!
Just played the Luna Abyss demo.
It definitely has very striking aesthetics.
Though its GUI doesn't quite fit its environmental aesthetics and atmospherics.
It plays like a Bullet Hell FPS, and it absolutely does not remind me of Mirror's Edge.
However what it does remind me of instead is Metroid Prime, because a lot of the ways the gameplay works (shooting doors with guns) automatic lock on to enemies. Are all here as part of the core gameplay.
And its aesthetics remind me of control TBH.
It's just a 52 minute long demo. And I definitely enjoyed it, and will look forward to what it ends up becoming.
Never heard of mouse until now, it looks so unique and cool!
Just recently played Shadow of Chernobyl and its sequel and prequel. Cant wait for Stalker 2
Exciting times. Most of these look awesome. Bring em on.
That number 8 reminds me old that old game Black. I've always wondered why we didn't get more games trying to follow that particles-flying everywhere style of shooting.
Black was wayyyyy ahead of its time. I am still butt hurt that a sequel never came about.
Very good list! Actually wishlisted a bunch of these
Man ill get a pc or console again just to revisit the zone
3:10 i got trepang2 vibes from this game
2:04 that revolver has got to be the most curses thing ive ever seen in my life
Okay Mouse actually looks mentally awesome from an animation perspective
That John Carpenter game reminds me of an old mobile I used to play way back in the day. Can't think of the name of it rn (maybe like zombie highway or something?) but you picked a car and it went down an endless highway, with zombies on the sides of it that would jump onto the sides of your car and try to flip you over. You had to scrape them off the sides of your car using debris on the highway or I think you had guns that had limited ammo as well. It was all about trying to get the biggest distance in one run.
Anyways that John Carpenter game reminds me of that, just in 1st person with a big AAA budget behind it.
The transitions in this video look really cool. By any chance, would you maybe provide info what editing software you're using and what's the name of the transition? If you made a custom one yourself, huge respect because it looks awesome 👍🏼
Luna Abyss looks more like monochromatic Destiny for me, there's platforming too. That untitled and Pioner looks nice. Mouse looks like ton of fun, because of that animated stuff.
Omg!
I was not that interested in this list, but then I saw that mouse game!😎
On the S.TA.L.K.E.R. 2 point, the turn of phrase "the genuine article" would have served you well, oh Falcon mine.
Toxic commando looks great, the gameplay from what we saw looks like a fun co op time, not taking itself seriously just some good old bloody zombie slaughter!
Luna Abyss color palete kinda reminds me of Armored Core 6
If you happen to do a video on 3rd person games, I definitely think you guys should include The First Descendant. It comes out later this year, I played the beta for it and its awesome! It's like titanfall gunplay mixed with abilities similar to Anthem. I have hopes for that game!
Agent 64 looks intriguing! i miss Time Splitters.
I'm surprised Grey Zone Warfare didn't get a mention. That's my most anticipated at the moment.
Yeah, Mullet Madjack didn't make the list and that even has a playable demo.
that's what i was looking for a mention of too
PC only
That cracked me up, second he said agent 64 looks like Goldeneye, I thought; Is that Goldeneye? 😄
Max Payne 3 till this game is probably is the most satisfying game to shoot people in. The slo mo combined with the amazing ragdoll physics, those moments live rent free in my head. Hopefully Vreseki's Untitled FPS scratch my itch.
Vreski's gives me really strong Black vibes.
Man I love them meerkats
you know I'm hyped for STALKER 2, STALKER CoP is my favorite FPS aint no way I'm not hyped
Clockwork Revolution is being made by one of the main guys who worked on the Bioshock games, so thats why it looks so much like Bioshock. im surprised Falcon didnt mention that.
I’ve been stalking Pioner for almost 2 years now and I want it to come out already
A 3 way mash up of STALKER, Fallout 76 and Metro? Sign me up
That’s exactly what I thought, all of my favorite games into one@@bronzin1445
The one game I can think of when he said pvpve I thought instantly of hunt showdown.
Untitled FPS reminds me the other game called BLACK. Super excited.
It is kinda weird seeing STALKER go from a game people pooped on, and people like me got laughed at for liking, to being this cult classic everyone wants a sequel for. Been a strange ride. Been waiting over ten years for STALKER 2 so I am very excited for it. Just hoping it is more STALKER and not ANOMALY. Nothing wrong with ANOMALY. I just want a game that plays like STALKER. Those who know what I am talking about will understand that.
I think people should temper their expectations, not that it will be bad or anything, far from it. If anything, it’s a contender for GOTY. It’s just in the same vein as Dragon’s Dogma 2 in the sense that it will be a culture shock for the layman gamer. It’s a niche game for a niche market.
GSC Gameworld even stated that STALKER 2 is made specifically for STALKER fans in mind and has no plans or interest to pander towards the layman gamer
@@bronzin1445 That is exactly what I am looking for. A true STALKER game. My skin still crawls the first time I hear a bloodsucker in the agroprom underground in SoC.
I look at Anomaly and GAMMA as fun little playground in the STALKER world. But not a true STALKER experience.
There is no way they spend 5 or 6 years developing a game just for hard-core fans. STALKER 2 will surely try to introduce the game and possibly genre to a lot of people who never played original games. I love the original ones but playing them today is hassle and they are now very dated. If STALKER 2 just modernizes visual and sound while keeping gameplay the same, it will be good game. I hope they also do a bit more to actually make STALKER 2 a game for 21st century and it will be a smash hit.
@@janpesek4862 except that’s exactly what they did and it’s exactly what STALKER fans wanted. Oh it will definitely introduce newcomers to the series and I suspect they will streamline certain mechanics that needed to be streamlined but fundamentally, STALKER 2 is a hardcore survival sandbox immersive sim. It’s series that’s infamous for not holding your hand and STALKER’s wouldn’t have it any other way.
Much with the Soulbourne series, you’re either to going to like or you don’t and that perfectly fine. There’s a reason why these games are given such high praise
Thanks for right writing Chornobyl)
Wow Delta Force is back. I remember that being the first game I played to feature grass
Your talk about 3D realm here sounds very good to me 👍
Vreski’s Untitled looks like Max Payne and Black had a baby. That looks amazing.
13:09 Thank you for including this. ^.^
2:35 That's Colonel John R. ("Rusty") Blade from SiN franchise. It would be so good that we get the sequel to SiN Episodes: Emergence, second episode. The SiN is a good franchise, that I would love to continue Blade's journey
Exekiller already wishlisted this on steam 👍🏻 Surprised you didn’t mention Off the Grid because that looks like it is going to be epic ;)
I'm absolutely interested in that Mouse game. Love that older cartoon style.
Oooh, I didn't know about Pioner but I hope it turns out to be awesome!
👍
Was Falcon throwing shade at Jake with that Max Payne comment? 😱😬😅
Vreski's one reminded me of a PS2 game called Black. And a little bit of the 1st prey somehow.
Been waiting for you guys to upload! Much love ❤
So many awesome looking games. Gonna have to make a list.
A game sorta similar to #8 that I’ve had a lot of fun playing is: Severed Steel. Not as realistic looking but man is it fun!
Vreskils untitled fps gives me F.E.A.R Vibes I don't know why maybe the slow mo
The remodeled flesh pound is badass I can't wait for killing floor 3
Some decent looking games I haven't heard of and now looking forward to! Especially excited about Mouse because it's just different and looks fun. Also this one wasn't mentioned as we don't really know if it's releasing this year or next one but Judas is on my radar big time! 🤟🏻
Looking forward to Ferocious. We need more dinosaur games!
Number 8 looks like a modern black! 🙌🏼😊
Phantom Fury looks like one of the classic LithTech engine games. Sin, Blood 2, etc. That's my era because I'm old and useless now, so I can't wait.
Timespitters!!!! HAS TO MAKE A COME BACK!!! need more arcade shooters like that one!!
Worked as a QA tester on TS2 - quite proud of that :)
I have to be honest, I'm only excited for Stalker. The rest have me skeptical until they're released
over half this list looked better than stalker lol
@@gkey06 sounds like you don't even know what Stalker is. Especially if your birth year is 2006 holy cow
0:37 ghost from power finally finna be in a game 😂❤
Please keep us updated on the John Carpenter game as it gets closer to dropping
There is nothing wrong with the name "Vreski's Untitiled FPS". There are a few games named as Untitled but this one looks like it can stand out.
cant wait to see time circle on itself.
0:14 Wow what a unique idea. No one has ever done this before.
Clockwork Revolution looks great. Excited to see how it turns out.
By the way what was that savage metal song playing at 13:38 when falcon was talking about Sand? Anyone know?
There's a lot of games on this list I wasn't aware of, but I've been excited for pioner for a while. I'm surprised you didn't compare it to Metro cuz I got Metro vibes, especially Metro Exodus, which is a classic by the way.
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando looks like it´ll be right up my alley!
Exekiller looks like another cyber punk...
> Exekiller looks like another Cyberpunk

dangit every time I hear the name John Carpenter I end up binging on They Live, The Thing, and Escape from New York/L.A.
John Carpenter "the horror guy from the 80s". PUT SOME RESPECT ON IT!! Listen kid, that's a legend of horror.
Bears In Space! It's out now on Steam and the game feels very much like Doom 2016, controls are very tight and it has a ton of humor.
I was about to make an Half-Life 3 joke, but I won't bother ^^
The demo for Luna Abyss is for all platforms ?
What's the soundtrack from the bit about Sand 13:38?
Hey im confused about a thing does falcon run gameranx or does jake?
I m very hyped by the clockwork game. Steam punk and time travel,I hope it s good cause there s potential
vereski's untitled fps looks like it could be a spiritual successor to BLACK from the PS2 days.
Was never a horde shooter fan, but helldivers has been changing that. Toxic Commando looks really cool so far. I hope it pans out.
I remember when you guys first talked about exomecha. And then the devs went dark for a while.
"The horror guy from the 80s." What an absurd amount of disrespect.
