India is the smartest diplomatic democracy currently. That doesn’t tilt on any side. Stays humanitarian yet self focused. During Russia Ukraine , India bought Russian oil products, not only to support their economy but to develop their own with cheaper oil. India has the strength and independency to lean on any side without any external pressure or obligation from either the western forces or Russia - china. It’s a massive feat to be simply an intimidating & independent yet massively humanitarian force

Our economy is the 5th largest rn. 40% of PPL living in extreme poverty have been pushed out to just 10% rn in less than a decade. India just held the G20 summit. India has provided massive humanitarian aids to most countries in grave dangers, even if they are not in the best relations. And has steered clear of all geopolitical tensions in eastern Europe or middle east or Africa. India is also leading in sports + athletics more than ever. Not only that, launched the recent chandrayaan 3 that successfully landed on the south pole of moon. Uk pm & current us vice president are from Indian descents. One of the several promising republican candidates in 2024 elections is a Tamil based Indian. Not to mention, many of the CEO's in major corporations. That's what happens when you spend more time in "China India Geopolitical comment sections" & less time on the news. India does have big problems like it's population, overall orthodox conservative mindsets & it's unemployment. Thus I'll agree, many Indians are intolerable assholes online. It's some of these 10-15%. Who probably won't even be paying taxes. Who knows.
But at the same time, the rest of the middle and upper class which together forms the majority run India through their jobs and taxes & represent it outside. You are misinformed here or there's some bias at play. India is literally in the best state it has ever been in. And it's growth index is one of the highest in the world rn for developing democracies.

As a South African,i usually say that our country need to learn one or two things from India because this country doesn't get influence easily by other BRICS members China and Russia of which my country is also a member because of their geopolitical agenda with West especially US. Western countries have always blocked any technology transfer or even joint-developoment of technology with India (and Indian companies). Israel and Russia have never done that. As far as India is concerned, investments in Israel are expected to be a fair win-win scenario, no matter what sector that investment is in. And of course, technology investments have a direct path to defense modernization, where India and Israel have worked together in the past, and most likely will continue to do so in the future. Another angle is purely geopolitical: some Arab countries like Qatar aren't friends of India at all. Their "investments" in India are mainly in media and other sectors that can put pressure on India and influence the Indian population. Qatar is also indirectly aiming to get a foot into the India-Israel relation. For example, Reliance is investing in Israeli tech companies, but Qatar's sovereign wealth fund has invested over 1 billion US in Reliance. So as of now, Qatar's royal family is a minority owner of Reliance. Indians and Israelis should be extremely wary of these details.
I think many western companies would like to do more business in India, but India’s protectionist system makes it almost as difficult to do so as China’s. Indian law prohibits majority non-citizen ownership of a company operating in the country, so there are no “partnerships” per se-there are just business arrangements where the Indian owners control everyone as a matter of law. As the Indian economy matures, this should change. But for now, India’s regulatory scheme is nowhere near as open and welcoming as its people.

Israel could have kept back a small chunk of sinai Peninsula land towards the east - after capturing it in the six day war. This would have given it more coastal line in the sinai and the IMEC corridor would have been smoothly implemented through the red sea without bothering about Oman, UAE, Saudi , Jordan etc.
Israel and Egypt are very cordial today and are very close politically because Israel retuened the conquered Sinai back to Egypt and didn't let that fester beyond that decade.
