I think as an Indian, India's strategy in geo political stage is pretty reflective of what most Indians want. "Live and let live". We don't wanna be so weak that others can kick us around, we also don't wanna invade, or take over others. We just wanna live and prosper.

@@_Aarim the chuslim radicals and porkistanis attack India first, their entire mindset runs on religion and jihad and what not
yet, still India has prominent Muslim celebs, politicians, scientists, even presidents...
but Pakistan? and other Islamic nations ? do they have any Hindu leader yet ?
      lemme tell you this
India had 80% Hindus during partition and roughly 15% muslims
now it is 75% Hindus and 20% Muslims
      but Porkistan?
well, in their early days, they had 80-90% Muslims and 10-20% Hindus
now? well well... below 1% Hindus, and 98% Chuslims
wanna cry? we all know what this religion, and especially this terrorist nation of Pakistan does
India is still capable to lower down ISLAMIC RADICALISATION and promote HARMONY
Porkistans IMF begging bailout package costs 7 billion dollars
while India's Kashmir already has a budget of 14 billion dollars
they cry in the OIC and in the UNSC about Kashmir, what the hell did they do for Kashmir?
they dont even know the origin of the word Kashmir (the place where Rishi Kashyap did his meditations and preachings)
also, UAE and Saudi, especially UAE, is spending billions into Kashmir for making malls, that too the biggest malls of Asia, using the same company which built Burj Khalifa
and Porkistan is busy running here and there in order to get bailout packages, and its a filthy place filled with jihadi terrorist radicals (includes 99% of their CIVILIANS, yes, the mindset of Jihad over progress is there in their brains), and its a place where people these days are dying in stampedes, when they run to grab free food in the stalls, coz even wheat is costly there
while G7 countries will go into RECESSION
India has 0% chances of recession
most Muslims in India are alright, although the pakistan loving jihad loving chuslims are still around 40% of the population (who will wanna live in filthiest conditions, praying all day in a mosque, also shown in the video, but they will never wanna go to a SCHOOL and study, instead they destroy SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, TRAINS, CARS, ROADS, etc to show hatred for so called HINDU KAFIRS)
      still India is hosting them
study well, education is the key, Indians, especially Hindus, dont care about religion, we wanna study and earn money first, and thats why the liberal population (cities, and now even some rural places), with proper acknowledgement of our culture and diversity, which has mostly Hindus, and also around a few muslims, are progressing
but most rural areas (with hindu populations) are also progressing
why is muslim population areas not progressing? well its not that we discriminate, but its due to the jihadist mindset of Islam... people in 4-5 states literally stone pelted on VANDE BHARAT EXPRESS TRAIN, why? 100% due to India hatred
Hindus still give all access to people here irrespective of their faiths, but the later (Muslims, and also Christians) love to play victim card, whereas they are the oppressors
      this is the harsh truth
Saudi, UAE, Egypt, etc have got the lessons and now they are changing for the better
and no wonders, India, and even the entire world, is doing trade with them
only by coexisting can a country progress, the former (Hindus) do it well, but the later? not so much... where the hell do you see Indians harassing Muslims anyways? i never see them, those who do are dealt with in the courts...

Interesting take but hard to agree that India is anything like Switzerland. India is way too influential, way more strategic, and way more of a military power to be considered neutral in the way the Swiss are. That along with two nuclear armed rivals next door, it's hardly a case for neutrality. India's non-alignment is a well crafted strategy that has always been drafted with one eye on countering those same two threats if or when they find themselves in that position. India's military also take a way more aggressive approach against rivals as seen in their recent raids on both Pakistani and Chinese administered territories. As a Pakistani, I feel like India's strategy is way more effective and intelligent than the Swiss, where they have truly cemented themselves as a true global power politically, economically, and militarily very intentionally and skillfully. Comparing it to Swiss neutrality almost undermines that a little bit.

I don’t think India is trying to become Switzerland of Asia , it’s just trying to mind its own business. The difference stems from inherent nature of response to a situation. If another nation is growing economically- India sees it as a competitor and not as a threat. For a long time economic progress of both Pakistan and Bangladesh was better than India. India never tried to destabilise them but rather compete with them and in certain areas even collaborated with them. India is still trying to compete economically with China which reflects in their government policies. Therefore there is room for friendship between competitors not between enemies.

Mr. S. Jaishankar, India’s minister for external affairs actually hinted towards this so called diplomatic neutrality in a speech he made recently. He gave the example of a character from an Indian epic, called Krishna, who even in the wake of a pan-nation war maintained neutrality. But this neutrality was not achieved by abstinence from geopolitics but instead it was through actively engaging with every entity to an extent that they believe you would do what’s best for them. The more you analyse Krishna’s character, you’ll realise how sketchy and cunning he was as a politician, but that makes for a brilliant statesman. That’s the kind of approach the ministry of external affairs has been adopting now and it will keep doing so. India will preach ideals and morals but when it comes to act, it will act only in it’s interests. Biggest example is that of Afghanistan; even the outright villain of most people’s stories wants to maintain good ties with India today and sees it as a friend, although in the long term, India is only behaving the way it does to prevent its interests from being downplayed by other characters.

India, the land of diverse cultures, has always been renowned for its ancient knowledge and wisdom. Unfortunately, this rich heritage was clouded by British-inspired historians until the 1990s. However, India has always been a cradle of civilization and has given birth to many of the most talented and hardworking individuals.
The country's family values and respect for individuals are something that has been deeply rooted in Indian culture for thousands of years. India is also known for its linguistic diversity, with over 19,500 dialects spoken across the country.

India can take this position because of its geographical quirks. It is separated from the rest of the Eurasian continent by mountain ranges, yet connected to both Europe, Africa and Asia via the sea without obstruction. It can be insulated when it wants to be and open when it wants to be. There's a reason why its called the "Indian" Ocean.
The only challenge to India is once again, it's geographical location. Did you know that India is in the same latitude as the Sahara desert? That means that it is prone to aridity.

    • @Destroyer4700
      @Destroyer4700 Před rokem

@pavan You cannot use "less water" indefinitely. Which is why nobody has ever farmed on an industrial scale in the desert (until recent times).
India relies almost entirely on the monsoons for crop irrigation. That is a good thing because rainwater will not lead to soil salination. But also a bad thing because climate change will change how the monsoons operate around the world (E.g., Changes in duration, intensity and timing).
Thankfully India has an indigenous nuclear industry with a goal in developing thorium based reactors. Nuclear energy can be used to desalinate large amounts of water at low cost. Whether the government will seize that opportunity is anybody's guess.

Tomorrow they'll say that they surpassed USA , UK and the whole western world, and they're the richest country in the world too. I'm still scratching my head thinking when will they wake up from their Bollywood fantasy.

India has Tijgers, Elephants, leopards, Rhinos, Crocodiles, Camels, lion's and many other animals.. India has aswell Snow mountains, Desert and Tropical coastlines and Tropical islands India have all kinds of Fruits and vegetables. India is very unique and rich. I can imagine why European countries and Colombus desperately where searching for the golden place called India after the dark middel edges in Europe.

@@Kevin-fq3zh India can face China alone because of Nuclear Weapons. However, India is also aligning with the QUAD to cut off China from its maritime trade should Xi invade Taiwan. Of course if Xi lose then the China can kiss goodbye to its UN security council seat as it becomes increasingly difficult for the West to work with two authoritarian states that waged wars against its neighbours for territorial expansion.

Ukraine is facing Russia alone. Selling or donating war machines don't mean anything when you need people to run them.
